Nice update. I'm planning on visiting Universal and Sea World this spring. I've never been to either. I was wondering how many days in each park will be adequate to hit all the best attractions (and maybe a few twice) I was thinking 1 day in Sea World and 2 in Universal? Also any other tips about either park/best time to go etc. (from coastercrew or anyone) would be appreciated. Thanks!
@00mundercover I would agree with you that one day in each park, Seaworld, Universal Studios and IOA is probably the right amount of time. Best time to go is a tough thing to judge in the spring and a lot of it depends what weeks spring breaks are. Don't come easter week as it is one of the busiest of the year. - Legend
Thanks for this update. Will be going at the end of May for a week and can't wait to see the new expansion. My kids are older now and not into the princesses or getting autographs anymore but they will have to suffer while Mom checks out the new place! Can't wait to get on the Mining Coaster! Looks like it will be an awesome ride!
@sheldonman14 I would say I'm probably in the parks once or twice a week. Spend the most time at the two universal parks and magic kingdom. If your friends with coastercrew on facebook, every few months I post a note with all my ride count numbers, because I'm a big dork and keep track of things like that
Part of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad thing is putting in new track. I think they put in some new track already, but I think they are doing the whole thing. They took the ties off before. I would also imagine that they are doing something with line - as in adding something interactive because they did it for Winnie, and Space Mountain, why not that?
I'm heading out to Universal Studios March 1st and I was wondering if Mini Golf or Despicable Me would be open. I also heard that Spiderman was getting better graphics, is it closed? I'm also going to Sea World that same week. Will Turtle Trek be open?
@ECUI305 Hey Man. The parks haven't officially announced any opening dates for the new attractions yet, if I had to guess Mini Golf will be open by March 1st, but Turtle Trek and Despicable Me probably won't be. Spiderman is getting new graphics, but doesn't need to close for the upgrade.

@Predatorocks The 'NextGen' queue is very likely going in. Which it really needs cause the Big Thunder line is very boring.

@coastercrew Oh good about Spiderman. It's one of my favorites and I really want it open. Mini Golf looks fun too. And thanks for the update!

@ECUI305 Bad news man. IOA announced in the past few days that Spiderman is closing on Feb 8 and re-opening in "March" to finish the upgrades.

@coastercrew Oh no. Hopefully it will be open by March 1st.... but probably not. Thanks for letting me know.
