Look, not trying get into a who's right and who's wrong. The plane in your video has had some kind of upgrade. There in not another brushed Guanli A-10 video on youtube or any other video site that flys anywhere near how the one in this video does. Secondly, my sons plane was brand new with a fresh AND charged battery, it barely has enough thrust to ROG or even fly more importantly. Fancy analogies and poetic phrases doesn't change the fact that the video A-10 was upgraded.
I have this Guanli A-10 brushed version for my son, and the plane in the video is not of the same set up! The plane in the video has to be brushless! My sons A-10 flies only ten percent of the time with a javelon force throw, even then, barely has enough thrust to maintain level flight! I use a venom pro charger for the battery so I know it has a few battery.
I will explain you what is the issue in there. Because we tested ourselves and got into this conclusion.
When the plane is made fresh in the factory the battery power is 100 % , gets a charge, test , and is off to the distribution line. If the distribution line storage the plane for long time, either to offer it in a promotion or after long time, without at least charge batteries sometimes, the plane will be even 70 % to 20 % of the real power of the airplane, due to dry dead battery effect.
The same happens with sport men, you can have the muscles of the best shape for 10 years, then stop using them, they suffer from atrofia , same happens for food, is best served fresh, if not your tomatoes will taste like carton. So, in a battery, there are cells used for power, for increase power and for accumulative power, indifferent where the full charge is. No matter you can have the best charger in the world if the power of the battery is diminished due to unproper storage or maintenance.
For a beginner or someone making the transition between propeller planes and EDF ( Ducted Fans ), Yes, totally recommended, for someone that already did the transition is better the A-10 THUNDERBOLT II by HCH , which has brushless EDF system, for someone in more advanced level are better the SU-27 or EF2000 or FMS jets.

great vid im new to this hobby i only have the sky surfer now would this be a good beginner jet cuz i want fast but not hard

How fast can this little a-10 go on a full battery?
JetFlyyer 11 months ago
I think it's Li-Po powered and Brushless... The power is consistent and has more juice comparable to a unit that runs on a Ni-Cad or Ni-Mh..

@nhicohgener Nah, Guanli, does not have that battery. Still he same we have in our stock and not brushless.

like my mini super cub it takes off in 10-15 feet
JetFlyyer 1 year ago
@JetFlyyer Yes, because is learning plane, not so much powerful
AERORCTV 1 year ago
whats the lengh of runway needed for this jet. Im estimating it to be fairly short with its low straight wings.
JetFlyyer 1 year ago
@JetFlyyer Yes is short, is not a heavy airplane or long one.
In basically one street construction site, which is less than 70 meters is more than ok.

The best advice is, buy your airplanes like your fruits, always fresh :)
Thanks
