  • Great Clip!

  • carol burnett is hilarious, love her voice

  • Richard Dawson would not let go of Carol until she pushed him away and walked away from him.....but he came back ......

  • This is so priceless, not only for their appearing and then playing, but Carol Burnett's reaction is hysterical to the question, and I agree with those who say that the show is so wonderful because of their chemistry and ability to entertain.

  • lol 5:43 i figured he was constapated

  • Gene: "Now, where the hell are we I, I forgot, I lost my place"

the look on Carol Burnett's face is priceless.

  • was this match game pm or one of the match game 73 74 75 ?

  • @jaimedance3 '78

  • this is brilliant!

  • one of the best game shows of the seventies. Use to watch this as a kid

  • I love how accommodating they all are for one another :)

  • So wonderful! Why isn't TV like that these days? Oh, wait... there's no talent anymore!

  • Fared I love Richard wish I was born in his era he's so charming!!!

  • Oh I love Richard in this clip!!

Funny how he started to introduce everyone when you realize that Gene is the host of the show

  • I was born in the wrong era.

  • That is why match game was great, because those guys were having fun, no drama on the set.

  • I remember this show but wasn't old enough to understand it or be interested in it. My father would come home from work and turn on Match Game. He also threw shoes at the t.v. when the screen fuzzed up.

  • This is awsome. Anyone got a time machine? I was born in the wrong time.

  • He might have left the show by then. This looks like it might be 1977-78.

  • The audience members should have counted their lucky stars that day, but where was Harvey Korman?

  • @MrCombat1965 Harvey Korman had quit the show at this time.

  • WHAT MATCH GAME WAS THIS 73 74 75?

  • It was my favorite show then and it's still my favorite show now.

  • Go richard, go!! Brilliant man that one is!!

  • well i figured he was constepated OMG

  • The contestant kind of looks like the dad from Family Ties! LOL!

  • That was always a fun show to watch.

  • It was Richard Dawson

  • This is probably a stupid question but who is the man that kissed Ms Burnett?

  • It's Richard Dawson.

  • Damn Richard was smoov.

  • @FordGT555 also known as the kissing bandit - lol

  • carol burnett, vicki lawrence, and tim conway are truly national treasures!!!!!!!!!

    rip harvey

  • oh he was funny! don't get me wrong but i am just not a fan.

  • Just kidding

  • match game was pure, unscripted mayhem.

  • Didi Conn....yum!

  • Tim Conway is the man!

  • I love tim conway so much. That was hilarious.

  • Tim Conway...Hilarious! LMAO

  • "Is this the Family Feud?" LOL!

  • This is too funny! I loved that show! And Gene Rayburn,He was just AWESOME! RIP Gene! I love you!

  • Incredible clip. More pure talent combined in that one studio set than you could get in 100+ channels today...

  • Too much!!!

  • thanks a million for sharing these wonderful clips of Americana. It is wonderful to go back in time.

  • Classic!!!!!!!

  • What an awesome moment; all those legends on one stage not giving a damn and having a great time. Classic tv.

  • 'Spelling doesn't count." LOL!

  • what are they doing here on match game

  • the same reason why she was on tpir at one time, which was to plug her show

  • I remember seeing this at the time it was aired. Where has the time gone?

  • i figured he was constipated LMAO!!!!! thats tim

  • gene rayburn: "get him outta here" richard dawson takes him away

  • CAROL BURNETT!!!

  • I LOVE this episode, espcially when Gene says "Where the hell are we, I forgot, I lost my place?!" lol, and where Brett's answer is swimming and Gene get's mad!

  • Love love love the Match Game...funniest part of this clip might just be that the contestant's name is 'Dick Shoe'!

  • that was cooooooooool

  • Fannie Flagg 4:53 Damn!

  • Wow, this is hillarious!

  • every woman loved richard dawson

  • dumb dora was soooo dumb

  • how dumb was she?

  • ignored.

  • Richard Dawson was known as a total ego with a head. Notice how he kisses Carol first knowing that will get the camera shot by doing it. Ms. Burnett. never had him on her show. Sweet as she is she could not stand him.

  • But, she did a week on Feud '94. By that point, he'd mellowed significantly.

  • Carol Burnett looked happy that Richard Dawson kissed her.She said is this Family Feud and she laughed. How do you know that Carol Burnett couldn't stand Richard Dawson?

  • Yeah, Vicky L. was HOT

  • I'll bet Vicki Lawrence was a tiger in the sack.

  • Thanks for posting this clip! It was hysterical. How fun and impromptu. My big question is, did Dick Shoe, the contestant win? What happened? Did they count the visitors answers? It's a real cliff hanger. ;-)

  • Y'know, in Britain this one would've been even funnier because we have a special word for that very special activity-of-a-sexual-nature - 'wanking'!

  • that dude is smoking a pipe, too funny!

  • haha...cool!

  • I tinkled!

  • Did Jim Nabors and Charles Nelson Reilly kiss?

  • This show was taped on the same stage as Carol's show (Stage 33 at CBS) The Price Is Right tapes there now and has for years. Stages at CBS were often shared and 33 was used a lot!

  • I love Carol Burnett!

    Thanks for posting this!

  • This is one of my pride and joys too, I wonder why Tim Conway, Jim Nabors, and Carol Burnnett wern't panelist.

SuperPAC if you ever put another CLIP up can it be one with Cuccko and Ollie?!

I loved when they were on the panel!

  • There was a contestant on Match Game that when asked a question it went like "something brought a cuckoo ___" the contestant answered "fran and ollie." The panelists were in awe and couldn't contain themselves.

  • sorry i dont get it??

  • There was a children's puppet show back in the, uh, 1950s called "Kukla, Fran and Ollie". I don't know what the strange name "kukla" is supposed to mean, but there you go...

  • In Greek, Koukla means doll so I suspect it came from that.

  • Actually it was a Super Match question where Gene said "Cuckoo ____", and that's where the lady contestant said "Cuckoo, Fred, and Ollie", which was in reference to "Kukla, Fran, and Ollie" mentioned by Captain Paintball below.

  • Greeettt clip!

  • Good clip to start your sabbatical. I LOVE Tim Conway!!

  • this is great, haven't seen this in a while!! This is one of my 4 "pride & joys" lol

  • I LOOOOOVVVEEEE THIS CLIP!
