@theawesome6842 Through the last past months of his 'life' the ears kept changing. One double only had half an ear lol... I think he used them to distract the paparazii when he left doctors, while he snuck out back...I think he mainly used the surgical mask for doubles.

I think he wore masks a lot before his death because he was getting treatments on his face for the concert. He looked good in the this is it movie, same MJ that I had seen for years. I do not think that he had much hair either, just wigs.

according to his make up artist , those time when his Vitiligo has just started to spread up specially in his face, he needs to wear mask. And needs to protect from the sun too, for vitiligo patients are prone to catch other worse skin problems.

I bet it had to be hard on him to be 50. Because he was so childlike, I bet getting older and having to slowdown a little had to make him a bit depressed. Combine getting older when you want to be Peter Pan and the rediculous allegations about him, thats enough to send anyone into a deep depression. Oh Michael how I wish you could have been free.
