They lack the courage to preach true values of religion or fight social injustice. But Guru granth sahib ji's bani is not just for reading/listening (though reading/listening have their own mahatam which we cannot quantify). The next stage is to obey bani. The countries you have quoted are christian or muslim countries and these religions do have prophets. The largest wars in name of religion have not been created by indians, these have been created by christians - be it the case of jews/christians or india/pakistan. Indians have just been victims. Akbar tried starting his own religion which failed miserably. No humans has power to create/sustain religion. It has come from one source - who has created you/me/everything we see around. Scientists have only discovered laws which already existed mate. But yes, they have used these laws for creating things we use. The reason they don't happen today is because people has lost faith in religion (like you) so they don't put effort in realizing God.
