you seem to forget the fact that episode one has been out for almost thirteen years, and the world has seen it and had plenty of times to do such again and again. I think the fault with the prequels was that the time strain they were on. When you really think about it the first three movies just can't be told in the 6 hours that they were given (2 for each movie). The story of StarWars is an Epic tale, and it just can't be told within such a small time frame. Just my 2 cents! :D

The original three are still the best, not because of the story alone, but because of the cast. In particular Han Solo (Harrison Ford) spiced up the movies greatly and added a non-jedi perspective to the movies, that easier to relate to than the superstitious force sensitivity that greatly dominates the scripts of the prequals.
That however doesnt mean you cant enjoy them, Hayden Christensen however, is a horrible actor, which drags them down, significantly.
I like how the music continued on into the next scene instead of just jolting back into action mode. Whether it was intended or not it really added to the drama of it all.
Did anyone else find that in the prequel trilogy the did a bad job showing how good of friends Anakin and Obi Wan were? I mean, they told you about some of the adventures they went on, but you don't really see them act like great friends. Infact most of the time it seemed like to me that Obi Wan found Anakin irritating. And complained about Obi Wan.

@XIXIPCUNNINGHAMIXIX In the jedi order, you are not allowed to have emotional attachemnts of any kind. A sibling relationship is all you can have. Strong freindship is a hinderence. Obi-Won wouldn't allow such a relationship to develop. Although the attachment problem sounds well in military theory, it doesn't seem right. If the jedi are the righteous order, you would think love would be something they would encourage. After all, love is the only thing worth fighting for.
I think the piano is out of place, considering this is star wars. But I did love the editing. If I my offer some advice, I think a fade transition from Return of the Jedi to the previous chapters would feel a bit smoother.

@tklandess Lets use the hobbit as an example, everyone loved LOTR, so the expectation is that most people will go watch the hobbit and it will sell well because they have that expectation from LOTR. you dont know whether the hobbit will be good or not, but people are still going to see it coz its the hobbit. Same as episode one. If somone told me that it was shit before i saw it, i would still go because i wanted to see it for myself. so hence, boxoffice means nothing.

I think the fault with the prequels was that the time strain they were on. When you really think about it the first three movies just can't be told in the 6 hours that they were given (2 for each movie). The story of StarWars is an Epic tale, and it just can't be told within such a small time frame. Just my 2 cents! :D

The original three are still the best, not because of the story alone, but because of the cast. In particular Han Solo (Harrison Ford) spiced up the movies greatly and added a non-jedi perspective to the movies, that easier to relate to than the superstitious force sensitivity that greatly dominates the scripts of the prequals.
That however doesnt mean you cant enjoy them, Hayden Christensen however, is a horrible actor, which drags them down, significantly.

Did anyone else find that in the prequel trilogy the did a bad job showing how good of friends Anakin and Obi Wan were? I mean, they told you about some of the adventures they went on, but you don't really see them act like great friends. Infact most of the time it seemed like to me that Obi Wan found Anakin irritating. And complained about Obi Wan.

Obi-Won wouldn't allow such a relationship to develop. Although the attachment problem sounds well in military theory, it doesn't seem right. If the jedi are the righteous order, you would think love would be something they would encourage. After all, love is the only thing worth fighting for.

I kind of just noticed something, Luke seems to have Padme's personality but lived Anakin's sort of lifestyle on Tatooine. While Princess Leia lived Padme's sort of life style but has her Father's anger and hatred. Just look how she killed Jabba the Hutt I would say thats Daddy's little girl right there. Also when Chewbacca was choking Lando in Empire Strikes Back for betraying Han instead of breaking it up she encouraged Chewie to keep choking Lando.
