how did you use Liteicon to change your skype icon.. it doesn't have the options to do that and I've been wondering about it? Is there any way?

@DCGoodridge if you go to skype in the applications folder, right click > show all package contents > contents > resources... here there should be a file called "SkypeBlue.icns", replace this icon with whatever icns file you want, just make sure its the same file name. hope that helps :)

excellent video. On a side note, how did you change your HD logo? I know how to do the windows one, but when I command I my HD and drag a png, or icns (icon) file over it, It just outputs the preview image, which is just the white paper with the file type on the bottom. Any ideas?

1. quicksilver seems useless, I have spotlight.. With Quicksilver you will like whole 0.1 of a sec so it's not that faster..

2. why use himmelbar if you can have the application folder in the dock?

3. Haven't tried transmission, Vuze is my choise :)

4. Adium is perfect, though you will find yourself customizing it for hours :DD

5. I hope Adium (or someone)will create the webcam addon so Skype would come useless.. Having webconf in the same app would be easier

6. Firefox is great, safari looks better = download the safari theme :) (Greasemonkey is another must-have thing)

7. Visualhub is the one, I use it also :)

8. Will Appcleaner also delete the settings files? If not then it is pretty useless as you could just drag the app to the trash to remove it.

9. Toast is great, I use it also.

dunno why anyone would use quicksilver.... spotlight is way more efficient...

i get wat your saying but i think its slightly faster since it doesnt scan your entire index, has a better interface and allows you to order your apps so the first hit will be your more commonly used apps. but yeh spotlight is still very good for getting the job done.
