  • The two of them, pure emotion & God knows I know this feeling and I could get lost listening to the two of them. When he sings his part you feel the despair and Tina comes in and makes you feel there is still hope! Brilliant!

  • i love your voice jeff

  • Still can't stand Tina Arena but this is a great version.

  • It's nice to hear him on the telecaster. He sounds good...

  • Best version of this song. Beautiful.

  • God i love this version so much!

  • The Tea Party will live on through their recordings but the chances of that band ever reforming are few and far between, Jeff has said himself that it was due to creative differences and is highly unlikely that TTP will regroup. Check out The Armada and new band 777 Same voice similar sounds but still awesome!

  • I've loved Jeff Martin since I've first heard his incredible sexy voice and Tina is an amazing addition to his. I could listen die llstening to this song. ... not to be over-dramatic... but god.. beautiful.

  • Nice Version

  • what a beautiful song, love p gabriel version but oh the australian and canadian version makes makes it even more special, what a gorgeous song

  • what a sweet bitter song beautiful song by our aussie girl and our adopted canadian son...

  • hey little girl when we were and mr martin, beautiful combination...

  • bravo!! Tina

  • Jeff's better days are apparently behind him. The Tea Party was a diamond - the kind that are seen once in a generation. Doing Peter Gabriel is a waste of his talents. Not sure what happened to him, but it is too bad. Those first Tea Party albums will live in history forever. Burrows is doing great things these days with Rush, another super-band. Here is to hoping Jeff comes around.

  • @Stroggoth you should check out Jeff's new band 777 and the album is called the ground cries out. They are touring Canada right now, was an absolutely awesome show and he is doing really well. (As for Burrows he is drumming for the band Crash Karma... also doing well, just won a CMA)

  • @mizawesomerest The Tea Party id reforming for a short Summer tour

  • Does Jeff looks like the Love Guru or is it just me?

  • He does it all with ease. Arena is as boring as bat shit.

  • I love the contrast of these two wonderful performers voices here! Brilliant!

  • I loved this performance, and I was very lucky to sing it with Jeff Martin at a show if you would like to view check out my youtube page. Both Tina and Jeff have wondeful unique voices.

  • this is quite sickening...

  • Tinas voice are awesome - I like her - wery emotional. :)) Withot her this song will be nothing, just trash. She is briliant. ;)

  • Oh see i love Jeff's voice...but Tina....I've never liked her voice....I find it irritating.

  • So amazing song - makes me belive that there is reason to live. :)

  • well iloved it...you can also see petegabriel and kate bush, or shannon noll and natalie basinwhaite do it an old time fav x

  • as easy as it is to speculate who might sound good with another singer its prolly a decent idea to give Jeff some due credit. He's singing with a voice thats hoarse and full of sadness cause I imagine he's sorta roll playing with the lyrics of the song and she's the crystal clear voice of hope and inspiration, then rolling into the sorta gospel part he does I don't know how it could've sounded or worked out more brilliantly then it did, thought it was well done. thx for the vid

  • great showcase of the bass. jeff's a good singer but i think the song is better with someone who sings at a higher octave like peter gabriel and shannon noll or perhaps Axl Rose?

  • @amindbody i agree with Axl Rose for sure not to sure about shannon noll

another to think about would be Jimmy barns

  • great fucking song really aussie shit here

  • She's excellent but i didn't like his voice at all. Sorry jeff fans.

  • this is phenomenal. maybe an unlikely duet but a great choice of song and for a great show...don't like it? don't watch it.

  • He does this well...just cant understand the song choice....or doing a duet with Tina Arena???

  • it was on Rockwiz, both of the guest acts always perform a duet together.

  • i think it could have been better, they just don't have the chemistry or are at one with harmony which kinda makes it a bit sucky i think Tina is way to clean cut to be singing with Jeff...... maybe with tori Amos or pj Harvey this cover would have been magical

  • I could never get sick of his voice.

  • Whe love you Jeff ...

  • Jeff - When are you coming back to Tea Party? we are waiting.....

  • He hinted last weekend that it could happen this year...

  • @TeaParty101 - Respect the decision. Don't fight it.

  • @TeaParty101 July this year!

  • This is priceless. Bloody Awesome.

  • To be fair, he isn't Peter Gabriel & does not have his range. He keeps it down when he needs to & goes falsetto in the bridge to keep the intensity.

It sounds to me like the arrangement was designed for Tina to stretch out at the end - so she did. Yeah, they took a little licence. She has an amazing voice, why not share it with us?? ;-)

    I'm with luckydog429 - I could listen 2 that forever.

  • i dont even like this song but i cant stop watching this version

  • I could watch 2:20 through to 3:23 again and again. I love that Jeff tones down the guitar a notch, he could have gone over the top but instead is spot on.

  • This was one of those magic moments in music. Two musicians with perfect chemistry. Brilliant!

  • Jeff Martin...you are awesome

  • Just awesome performance, just fanatastic!!!

  • Incredible!!! They should record together! Two amazing Aussie talents!

  • Jeff Martin is actually Canadian but yes, they both are extremely talented and I would love to see them perform together again!

  • Well Jeff is now an Aussie Citizen... so this is a true statement.. well now it is anyway hahaha

  • Absolutely brilliant. Perhaps the best cover of a wonderful, emotive song. Well done Tina, Jeff and Rockwiz.

  • One of the most amazing performances I've ever seen!
