WTF was this "first time to regain the Intercontinental title" business? Did they expect even the dumbest mark kid to swallow that line? Tito, Muraco, and Pedro all did it--I was 6 when this happened and I knew all that at the time.
@pronkb000 SOOOOOOO true I was 8 at the time and knew that! I also remember thinking to myself at the time that "why doesn't the ww'F' ever acknowledge it's past? I was a HUGE Brutus the Barber fan at the time and always wanted to know why they never billed him as a former tag team champion on tv???
Wrestling fans just seemed to be having more fun than they do today. Back then, it all happened in the ring. There were no backstage skits or excessive talking like today, the wrestling was the drama and it spoke for itself. People actually went to watch wrestling, not its about everything but.
now these gentlemen(Honky tonk,Warrior) are superstars! nowadays we got guys like kofi kingston and santino marella who should be packing bags at the "super"market........
S.N.M.E. was a very Special Show. Classics & Unforgettables Matches that have been filled of Tradition to WWF. Memorable age. Epic The Ultimate Warrior. Greetings from Matamoros, Tam. México.
@molloyboytoy I agree with you. Hogan was the king of "no sell" and stiffness. The only time I bothered to watch him was when he was in WCW as a heel and even then he was more entertaining outside, than inside the ring.
The matches of Warrior were all the same. I hated him for being so stiff. He was probably the worst wrestler in the history of wrestling, and this is after watching Khali.
My opponent only knows defeat.and I WILL NOT,DENYYY HIIIIIIIM lol!!!

The Warrior will always be remembered as the guy who went straight to the top but couldn't stay there.

If a guy uses steroids to gain an advantage get yourself an equalizer.

That Warrior guy sure does believe his own bullshit.

I loved the Warrior especially back in the 80's. His promos were short, sweet and intense!

@bonnyathome I disagree. I think that crown belongs to Hulk Hogan.
