Yet another reason to love this song/Malkmus: the "Westerberg he would be so proud now" line. It's a reference to Replacements singer Paul Westerberg, who wrote the song "Kiss Me on the Bus". Why the significance? The "acting so adult now" line can also be found in that song. Wonderful.
