  • Yet another reason to love this song/Malkmus: the "Westerberg he would be so proud now" line. It's a reference to Replacements singer Paul Westerberg, who wrote the song "Kiss Me on the Bus". Why the significance? The "acting so adult now" line can also be found in that song. Wonderful.

  • Malk says, "this song is sort of an adaption of a song by a band called Liquid Cross. A very obscure single recorded in Alabama in the late 60s - early 70s."

  • I just remembered George McFly in BTTF.

  • Very nice, you can almost imagine Neil Young playing this tune.

  • can't you tell. His guitar is actually in tune on this one. Unlike his prevoius work. It's real nice.

  • thanks for the posting but...

this strikes me as a weak effort, lacking the usual punch or bite of malkmus, or even the usual good vocals; i like the last 20 seconds, from 3:35 on

  • Additional words for my previous comment: with a mix of the effects from Real Emotional Trash :D.

  • Westerberg, he would be so proud now!

  • Sounds like It Kills.

    Cool :D.

  • its a shame i cant find anything about liquid cross here in Mexico its seems like a very underground band to me, once again: does anybody knows in wich label liquid cross are? thanks

  • whos this malkmus cover
