i have an asrock mobo that is at 4ghz percore and thats on 6 cores with an amd phenome 2 x 6just cuz its asrock doesnt mean it cant reach 2 ghz oh and the new amd cpus have thermal cut just like intel now so if u want to save some money got to amd intel cost to much

i doubt that cpu can do 2.44ghz. It is socket A. And that mobo is an asrock and not gigabyte. I could never do this in my ECS K7S5A because it shuts down
