I live in Washington and the only way to get scallops is like this. We've never had a scallop industry (at least in 100 years) and its kinda good that we aren't driving them out.

I think this company has set a great example for all scallop harvestors. I am really impressed. I live in Maine USA and we have great scallops but a state department that manages the resources the wrong way. We only have a tiny season for the draggers to ruin the bottom and then we cut the scallops and throw 90% of it away. Wild scallops cannot be landed whole. The state of Maine does not support our seafood industry the way other country's do! I love this video and this company!
