  • the girl in this video is very pretty

  • What's the name of that song you used? It's pretty catchy, I felt it went well with your demo :)

  • what dolly did you use and how much is it?

  • Hi How much did you pay for the Camera ? And do you use the editing software in apple? thank you in advance.

  • The camera runs between 3000 and 4000. Retail anyways.

  • @onetwotony

If you want a camera of similar quality, and a fraction of the price, go for the Canon HV30 or hv40.

  • this is wicked good. what's the song name

  • and what was this edited in?

  • Edited in Final Cut Pro 5 but there really isn't anything here that couldn't be done in almost any NLE.

  • okay, what's the song?

  • @DPsmdg hey can you help me out. I got an xh a1s, but when i connect it to my computer it doesn't recognize it. I don't know if you have to change some settings in in the camera. I hope you can help/.

  • I shot this at 1080 24f and love my XH-A1. What a great camera! This dolly cost me about $100 when all said and done.

  • A good friend of mine bought the Canon XH-A1 but he hasn't really been able to use it very much. I went with the Sony V1U.

I shot a music video for my brother in 1080i at 24p but for some reason in FCP i had to render over and over again whenever a change was made to a clip. I got lost exporting it with Compressor too.

  • Looks good I like the editing style. How much did it cost to build the dolly? How do u like the a1?

  • Great success! I like!

The modeling on both your behalves is deliciously mild.

  • Great video and examples of dolly use. You really get depth in your scenes, well done!

It would be great to see some pictures of your dolly... or maybe even a video of how you built it, hint hint.

  • Pretty much amazing!!! Superb dancing and music selection! Amazing dolly movement which just seems to bring the viewer into the action.

  • Nice work. What settings did you use? 1080 @ 24f? What shutter? I actually built a dolly my self.. but now considering a flowpod or a glide cam because of the aggrevation of setting the dolly up when the glidecam can do it all without the hassle, just good training. Good work. and as you notice it does get a little tough focusing when dollying. ESPECIALLY w/ this 35mm adapter I have. Haven't done much with my A1 yet. BUT WILL SOON! Good stuff!
