  • pshhh... la classe!!

  • it erks me, but you spelled 'minutes' wrong :(

  • @Glameyes1 Holy crap!!!!! 100,000 views, 200+ comments and you are the first person to ever point that out. Wow, that is embarrassing.... Yikes :P

  • @origiful Haha, your welcome....

    seriously? Wow....

  • Can't beat the betrayal of images, "ceci n'est pas une pipe", by rene magritte. Smart painting.

  • amazing - I haven't seen this before. Nice idea, but it's a pipe ;-)

  • I am really impressed with your idea. Who knew you could make such a great looking hand bag out of old clothes.

  • Can someone please give me the title of this song?

  • Bravo :):):)

i visit the site too, it's lovely :)

  • BRAVO !! TON IDÉE EST TROP GÉNIAL !! moi chui passionée par l'art et je tenvie !!! jaime dessiner et peindre mais jaimerais le faire a ta façon !!! jaime vraiment ta façon de peindre c'est génial !!...

  • what are you using as a primer for your painting?

  • great!!

  • The bag, yeah that's okay...

The painting!!! You are a very talented artist :) I'd love to paint like that, but I fear it's a gift rather than a learnt talent!

I've also learned a little French!

  • OMGBAG I love this video lol!

  • Really cool.

  • Just lovely!!!

  • nice bag, I especially like "the treachery of images" by Rene Magritte.. what kind of paint did you use?

  • What EXACTLY does "ne pas la tailler" mean?

  • I'm glad someone finally got the joke (TheCrazyZoe). I told it to my boyfriend and he thought it was brilliant. When he tried to tell it to some others who know a little French, they didn't get it, even after an explanation. sighh...In any case, I think you're very clever, mr. origiful.

  • Wow!! This is amazing!! Great art!! I am assuming you used fabric paint for this project, correct?? Nicely done!!

  • nice

  • O.o cool!

  • clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap!!!!!!

  • très drôle le petit détournement ! ^^

  • @TheCrazyZoe j'avoue .. lol

  • Just /wow/ O.O

  • Love the bag!

What kind of paint are you using? Regular acrylic? Fabric Paint? Oils?

  • WoW.

  • why "ne pas la tailler"? it doesn't make a lot of sense but I might be wrong.

  • it's a french pun about oral sex.

  • Rough Translation?

  • @origiful what does it mean?

  • why a pipe? u rock!!!

  • It might be in reference to the painting "this is not a pipe."

  • That bag is amazing, (Y)

What is that song btw? i love it

  • Wow! Was that fabric you painted on? And if so, what kind? I do some sewing myself, but there is no way I could make a bag in three minutes, much less out of shorts:P Do you make other stuff too?

  • what type of paint may i ask????

  • Brilliant fantastic. Do you mind if I copy the bag? I won't even try the painting that you did so very very well.

    xxx Thanks

  • cool ;]

  • I would definately share but I have no one to share with! Awesome stuff!

  • What about when it rains?

  • not a problem. the paint is like plastic and rain drips right off. I've had most of my bags for a couple years now and they're all fine (or at least better than bags I bought at major retails stores).

  • Seriously though, I forgot to mention how talented you are; not only are you a professional at design, but art as well.

    Quite amazing really.

  • amazing XD

  • c'est ne pas un pipe!

    i love Magritte :D

i had to do a whole shoe campaign using his techniques at college, and it won viewer's choice at the end of year art show!

  • That's really amazing! What do the words mean, though?

  • this is a word play.

Ne pas la tailler = do not sharpen it

To sharpen a pipe (tailler une pipe), means to give head, a blow job.

  • ha! thats great!

  • are you for real

  • That was awsome dude.

  • WOW... what do you do for a living? i mean really you're amazingly talented...NO JOKE. keep up the awesome work

  • what kind of sewing machine do u have ?

  • Truly Amazing, I wish I was that good, you have great talent

    Lucas

  • This was really nice but it went so fast , is there any way you can give me the measurements? or at least the written steps? Please I want to try to make this cool bag.

  • Mmm, I like it!

  • the tecnique is very interesting creative and beautiful to combine the artwork with the handbag fashion design you should try to get a artwork showing or display in a musem somewhere across the usa.

  • i will try, its very nice, good work!

  • ne pas la tailler avec les dents ! lol

    nice job !

  • @panier2crabes lool

  • Awsome!

  • cool video

    awsome pantin'

  • Such a simple thing to do with old clothing ... and great fun or a biz !!

  • yeah, i just sold some more at a small art/craft thingy. it's a great object, in my opinion, and I'd be interested in someday pursuing it more professionally. for now I've sold about 100 and it's been a really great experience. check out the website if you get a chance :)

  • Nice...

  • awesome! nice video, i wish i can do that

  • wow! is all i can say !- im really bad @ french what does " ne pas la tailler " mean :s

  • That is a cool way to use up old clothing

  • Pretty nifty.

  • That grommet bit you flash at 1:00, I was hoping to see more of that. Is the strap made of old suspenders? How many layers do you put the grommet through? How long does that last?

  • every time I make something like this, I keep it until it's completely ratty. My religion says not to prize material possessions but how hard is that when you've created it?

LOL, anyways, just thinking out loud, I'm sure I'll have something different to say about it another day.

  • gosh you are just talented. really good with your hands! drawing, sewing, that's awesome.

  • cool太酷了

    有沒有慢一點的阿

  • *SO FREAKIN SWEET & INSPIRATIONAL* Seriously, I always yearn to do artistic crafts like this, but I'm a bit notorious for my low confidence. I'm just gonna turn around and say screw it though, because I believe expression is crucial for a healthy mentality, especially when it involves art. =] Thanks for the video, I appreciated it!

  • sorry didn't check my spelliing source of inspiration

  • you are very talented great job! This is a of imspiration for me, thanks.

Anyways, this will bug me forever if I don't know the name of that song. Care to share it with me?

Also, awesome work. Wish I was that creative.

  • Ok, so if I can hear properly, this song is "Sentir et Analyser". But, it doesn't seem to exist anywhere for purchase or download. Oh well.

  • ya it was 3 minutes but it was sped up

    so it doesnt fucking count

  • oh no, you found out the secret!

  • Ne pas la tailler .. Excellent! J'aime beaucoup cette idée au départ du clip: "vous avez 3 minutes etc..." Grande finesse, bravo. Je t'invite à mon tour à regarder les vidéos que je réalise, un autre genre, mais tout se rejoint. Merci encore.

  • if it isnt a pipe, what is it?

  • It's the treachery of images. "This is not a pipe", because what you're looking at ISN'T a pipe. You can't smoke tobacco in a painting. It's two dimensional. View things for exactly what they are, regardless of what they may try to represent.

  • so what you're saying is: it isnt a pipe, it's a picture of a pipe. right?

  • Yeah, that's it. It's all about interpretation and representation.

  • "Tailler une pipe" means giving a blowjob. Hence "ne pas la tailler", it's just a wordplay.

  • ahha u might be the person that has sort of the same interst as me..

  • WOW!!! Wish that I could make a bag that fast. LOL

  • by the way, is the painting a magritte?

  • hey what's the name of tha song?

    nice work!

  • oh, this is the 'this is not a pipe' thing, isn't it? I first saw it on a group on facebook, and when i saw that you were drawing a pipe, i knew what you would write underneath it. So cool! (and postmodern)

  • tight dude

  • I've watched this so many times and I'm still wondering if I could figure out how to make a bag like this. I would love to know how since I'm a sucker for lots of bags and that just looks like a lot of fun to do on a slow day.
