  • I LOVE AMERICA <3

  • Lol, looks lik the reason this was Disliked was because the Wolfaboos got angry.

  • this video sucks and u r all jerks!

  • The best way to help the Bison is to eat more Bison. America's god is money and when it becomes unprofitable to hurt these animals any longer, it will begin to stop. Eating Bison hurts the industrial cattle cabal as well.

  • @apostate001 I hate seeing the bison reduced to nothing more than domesticated cattle. Besides, the ones that are raised in captivity are not true bison anyway. They're hybrids that have been crossbred with domestic cattle. One of the problems bison face is that there are very few genetically pure bison left. Creating more hybrids only worsens the problem.

  • Here we go...

    "FUCK WOLVES!!!"

    "FUCK BISON!!!"

You guys are both children. You're hating animals. Seriously? For no reason? I'm not sticking up for wolves either so don't call me a wolfaboo. I love bison also. Still saying "FUCK BISON" or "FUCK WOLVES" will get you no where and showing you look like a child.

  • Loads of "Save teh wulfs" videos. Very few "Save the Bison" videos. So STFU about Wolves, ya damn batshit Wolfaboos!

  • @boatman1245 I applaud you for not resorting to foul language. However , the little tidbit about moving on to something else to eat it ridiculous. Will you wolves eat grass like the prey animals that are gone?

  • @boatfag Bison are far more beautiful and majestic than wolves.

  • @F14ace Both have their beauty.

  • Man, great video...some really saddening footage in there =( That's awful that the bison get harassed so badly. I've seen places that farm them around here just fine (and humanely), why can't we deal with what we have and leave the wild ones alone? I can understand wanting to protect your cattle, but to that extent? Fences and vaccines, anyone?? I had no idea those poor bison underwent such treatment. Thank you for posting this.

  • @boatman1245 Fuck the wolves!

  • @F14ace fuck your mother!

  • @boatman1245 U mad, wolfaboo?

Okay genius, what happens to the wolves when all the prey animals are gone?

  • @boatman1245

The wolves in Yellowstone bred out of control and killed off a good portion of the elk and moose. The glorified wild dogs are a threat to biodiversity in the park and need to be culled accordingly. The wolves in Yellowstone aren't even the right subspecies of wolf anyways. Fuck that stupid, wrongfully introduced glorified mongrel.

  • @BlueBirdsInMaui really i dont give a damn about t he stupid elk so shut up! if there that weak they deserve to die!

  • @boatman1245 You are so immature and retarded it is unbelievable. Elk aren't weak. They're very strong, I'm sure they could kill you easily. But they have no chance against a pack of wolves.

Wolves aren't any more special than any other animal. They aren't the strongest animal around. They aren't nice. They'd rip your throat out if you got close enough to a wild one. . People like you make me ashamed to love wolves.

  • @boatman1245 U mad, bro?

  • @boatman1245 Fuck you cock sucking whore! The only time I want to see a wolf is through the scope of a rifle

  • @boatman1245 You, sir, can go fuck yourself.

  • @boatman1245 Fuck you too dumb ass I hope you get raped by wolves fuck face! Bisons rule!

  • @boatman1245 Hey, dickweed, I love wolves too. But that doesn't mean other goddamn animals don't deserve respect. And, fun fact, if the wolves overpopulate and kill too much of their prey, then your PRESHUS wolves will starve.

  • @boatman1245 Prey animals? Without "stupid pray animals" your precious wolves would not exist. Honestly if you are so passionate about wolf conservation maybe you should do some research instead of complaining on a youtube video. There is no need to get to so childish with the name-calling. It honestly makes you sound uneducated.

  • @furturedirector74 wow i don't really care fool! wolvs are a keystone species! they'll find something els to eat!

  • @boatman1245 Lets hope they eat you first faggot.

  • @boatman1245 They'll find something else to eat. Ok. Then once they wipe out that species, then what? And so on?

  • @boatman1245 wolves stink and they smell each others arse.

  • @naamhier fuck yur bison there ugly and dumb! wolves r supereor!

  • @boatman1245 That is nothing but your opinion. Go bitch somewhere else.

  • @boatman1245 Bison are just as beautiful and deserving of respect as wolves. Neither are superior to the other.

And learn to spell, please. Unless English is not your native language, you have no excuse.

  • @1blatherblather no they r not they are just big dum ugly cows and they cause globle warming so fuk em! and fuck u to!

  • @boatman1245 Hey, just curious, why come on to a video that's about protecting a species that I GUESS you don't like, just to whine about why we don't take efforts to save another species (despite the fact that they have been protected for a long time and are doing a lot better than the bison featured in this video)? You should go to one of the many wolf videos and go speak there. Otherwise, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all". Why not save BOTH species?

  • @boatman1245 And you are just a subspecies of chimpanzee!

Wolves should be hunted because they are nothing but pests.

  • @boatman1245 You're an idiot. You do know that without bison, elk, deer, etc, etc, your "precious wolves" would all starve and gradually die? Yeah, smart move. You know what we should do? Make sure the WOLF population is under control so it doesn't eat the bison and further risk loosing such an animal. Besides, the wolves you're talking about is the "Grey Wolf" (I'm fairly certain that's the wolves you're talking about) and that kind of wolf isn't even endangered OR at risk.

  • @boatman1245 screw em! wolves are basically dogs anyway? Whats the difference? Oh that's right, they're "dogs" that overkill and hunt bison and elk for sport and are overpopulated and out of control in yellowstone.

  • @boatman1245

    FAIL TROLL

  • @boatman1245 It's not a cartoon, kid. Wolves don't talk and wear leg warmers...they're nasty animals who are way over bred

  • @boatman1245

Screw the wolves, their basically like dogs anyway, whats the difference?

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx fuck you your just to stupid to get it wolves are better than any other animal cuz they keep populasions under controll so fuck you

  • @boatman1245

So do Bison, and any other animal on the planet, what's the difference? All animals help keep the balance with each other, wolves are not the only creatures, what are you stupid or something? Did you never pay attention to the biology teacher?

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx fuck you to othre animals are stupid adn ugly so i dont give fuck bout them so fuck you!

  • @boatman1245

I can't tell if your a troll, or just stupid. I'm going with troll.

Nice one though, you got a lot of people riled up, LOL! XD

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx I smell major trolololol with this one. Nobody could really be that stupid.

  • @F14ace

Exactly, it's still funny to me anyway.

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx u r all idiots fuck all u idiots!

  • @boatman1245

Keep it up bro, but don't make your trolling so obvious. You should go on a bison hunting video and say that bison deserve to be hunted but wolves don't, you'd probably get some crap, if that's what your looking for.

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx I find inspiration in his comments. Now I want to write another story about a bison kicking the shit out of a bunch of wolves!

  • @F14ace

Lovely idea, I'll be waiting to see this on DeviantART.

  • @xXFoxyScorpionXx FUCK ALL U CUNTS!

  • @boatman1245

    Lol, TROLOLOLOLOL IN THE DUNGEON!

  • @F14ace ur a idiot shut up asshole leave the wolvs aloon!

  • @boatman1245 Butthurt troll is butthurt!

  • @boatman1245

nobody is mocking the wolves. just ignore them. some people just dont like the wolves. and if you like wolves why dont you watch things that save the wolves? good luck swearing at your so called friends.

  • @boatman1245 Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @boatman1245

um you know that without bison and deer the wolves will starve too. so if you really want to save the wolves, then save their food source too!

  • @WolfLover6000 Don't confuse his tiny little brain with facts. His simple mind can't process them. Just let the little wolfaboo live in his magical fantasy world.

  • @F14ace

you know, now im begining to think that bison are pretty cool. by the way the white bison looked cute. :)

  • @boatman1245 Screw the Wolves they are just dogs anyway! Whats the difference?

  • @ChameleonCarnotaurus GO SUCK UR DICK COCK SUCKER!

  • If the cattlrmen want to keep cattle in montana let them do what evey other state makes there cattlemen do..vaccinate there cattle and keep them fenced in...problem solved.

  • I hope they are not wasting the meat and hides. They should make bison burgers from them and feed them to the kids in the public schools.

  • Great video..its all about the evil cATTLEMAN OF MONTANA!..f@@K THEM.

  • And now we have Americans coming up here to Canada to hunt. I guess when you kill all the wildlife, you don't have much choice but to come up here. Stop hunting up here and leave our land alone. Canada is known for being wild and we like it that way.

  • poor bison this is worng

  • We do Act like Cave people ! We even brought back the Wolf because we didn't think our Wildlife was persecuted enough.

  • So sad how humans threat Animals. Weake up. We are living 2009 and still act like cave people.. Sry not all off you

    Peace

  • Bison are yummy!!

  • @pictureofuu They sure are. That's why it would be nice to allow them access to more habitat and their numbers to increase, so that more hunters can have the experience of taking and cooking up a wild bison.

  • I hate seeing those mother fu*kers torment and kill those buffalos. If they're gonna live in a beautiful place, they need to live with everything that's there that makes it a unique place. I guess small minded people have the need to kill and torture in order to feel important or something. The rightful land owners and best stewards of buffalo country are the native Americans! I say that cause they truly learned to live and sacrifice a thing or two and fearful idiots out there need to leave.

  • You need to get all your facts before you criticize other people.

  • You know, if there wasn't all of those factors that led to the preservation of the park, the park would not be there! If we allow those (probably like you) to screw things up, then nobody wins!!!! There's many places around the world where they learned to co-exist with the natural world around them, and it's about time the people that lives around Yellowstone do. Don't be an idiot!

  • Comment removed

  • By the way, knowing all the facts or not, this tormenting of Buffalos need to stop!!! We can clearly see that this is disturbing. So stop making those dumb ass "in Denial" excuses. Trying to make you look right won't work!

  • It all comes down to one thing. Food chain. Woves are part of it and all of the pansy tree huggers out there need to realize that man is the top of the food chain. Yes, they need to be responsible for what they take and how they use it. How do you explain the fact that humans need vitamins found in meat to live??

  • You're screwed, man. Human kind, too, was once under the food chain, and we cheated ourselves up without nature. We used no natural strenght, just weapons made from dead trees and the bones of a dead animal being weeped at by the rest of it's herd or pack. If there was just one tribe of the only hummans on earth, they eouldn't take the rank they are in the foof chain for grant, and instead respect it, and kill with respect, and thank the animal for it's life.

  • another thing is how people in washing ton think they know how to run our state when all they think about is how to make the parks more tourist friendly. liberals dont know crap about wyoming wildlife. last year they released thousands of wolfs why because they thought it would make yellowstone prettier.the wolfs are now killing off everything the elk pop is down more than it has ever been before. and their used to be bison on the roads every where now you see on or two big groups and thats it.

  • someone that has an idea on what is going on. Save an elk, kill a hundered wolves.

  • or...kill an entire herd, cuz wolves r pretty and should be seen more in yellowstone.

  • @zachpeabody Wolves aren't endangered. Bison, on the other hand, are. Bison are also prettier and more majestic than wolves.

  • @zachpeabody Wolves are an important part of the ecosystem without them ELk were kulled/killed by man by the thousands but the wolves were needed to get new growth of aspen. The kills carcuses feed the trees.and the wolves keep down the deer, elk and bison numbers so the young aspens have a chance. Do your homework. Of course wolves will have to be culled too from time to time.

  • @willberb true, but when man interferes and releases new wolves they go out and not just feed themselves but kill more buffalo, elk, deer, etc then any past years ever it kinda fucks the ecosystem up a little bit. its not like i hate wolves but when there are too many or you release them where they shouldnt be you run into problems...not only that they are venturing into farmers cattle and killing livestock thats actually a HUGE problem here from what i've heard.

  • dude what ever i live in wyoming the truth is bison were almost extinct because of white people killing them for hides and crap like that. native americans believe that if you kill any animal you should use every part of it. As a whit hunter i think that bison should be legal to hunt, but only if you kill them for meat and use evrery thing, hunters are putting their names to shame by hunting for horns. hunting should never be about horns

  • Brucellosis only threatens the live stock part of the MT economy because of a bureaucratic federal regulation penalizing the entire state for the presence of Bison, infected or not. Wild Bison do not infect cattle. Change the federal regulation and the economy of MT suffers not. Put 1/2 the 4.5 million spent on the militaristic hazing operation into a vaccine program and put the other 1/2 into MT schools.

Export "excess" Bison to Native Reservations & National Grasslands = economic benefit...

  • Wow,I guess that if it only threatens Montanas livestock industry we can just let that small group suffer. You forgot one thing, livestock represents 1 billion dollars of a 2 billion dollar agricultural economy. The entire economy of Montana is wrapped around agriculture. 1 in 5 people in Montana is employed in agriculture or a related field.1 in 10 work with livestock.Any threat whether it be disease or predator is of the utmost importance. Please don't downplay the role of livestock in Montana.

  • But you don't get it... Brucellosis it's self has never transmitted from Wild Bison to Cattle, despite over 40 years of their co-mingling in Wyoming. It is the FEDERAL BUREAUCRACY that poses the financial threat. Make the federal rules friendlier to both wild life and cattle, let the bison roam freely of National Forest Land (everyones land - not just ranchers), pump the money spent on hazing bison into a vaccine for cattle = better long term job protection than shooting an American icon...

  • I understand the brucellosis part, what I didn't understand was in your first comment you said "Brucellosis only threatens the live stock part of the MT economy".Sounded like you were downplaying the role of livestock in Montana and saying that the livestock industry was some small segment. I was just simply stating that without livestock, Montana would be bankrupted on every level in less than a year.

  • Yes, my choice of words may have down played the role of livestock in the MT economy. By all means livestock is and will be central to the economy of most western states. My grandpa was a rancher and I have a huge amount of respect for the long, long days of hard work and love of the land that it involves. I also have a lot of respect for the awesome American Buffalo, and I hope that the livestock industry could make a little more room for the wooly ones to roam in their own home....

  • Thumbs up to you linehanon!

  • The bison should be managed more along the lines of the Yellowstone elk herds, but brucellosis is by no means imaginary or over-rated as this video portrays it. It's a very real threat to the economies of MT and WY. The BFC is nothing more than a bunch of hippies that really need to learn how to shower if they want people to take them seriously. An effective vaccination program is the best long term solution, but until one can be implemented hazing and capture are the only real options.

  • these animals were around when the indians lived there before the white man arrived now they are being pushed over invisible lines just like the indians but i do beleive we should save them

  • Excellent video!! Another sad tale of life in the United States of Capitalism. ViennaMT's comment is perhaps a good compromise...because money will always win out in this battle...sadly. On a production note, i would scrap this soundtrack..it really gets in the way and at times drowns out the narrator. Perhaps replace it with a solo native American Flute song or native American drums..the footage and commentery need to be center stage IMHO.

Thanks for taking the time to do this project.

  • Andro, the citizens of Montana, where I live, and Wyoming are pressuring our congressmen to come up with an alternative to slaughtering buffalo with brucillosis. It is a HUGE issue. What, is it the bisons' fault that they're diseased??? C'mon - I want my tax dollars in Montana to be spent in vaccinations, not slaughter; I just won't tolerate it without speaking up! These are noble, beautiful creatures who deserve better.

    Vienna

  • It never ceases to amaze me what so called humans will do. they want it all and if an animal is in the way, they just kill them. No other reason than greed. This must be stopped. I will stand by anyone wanting to save these beautiful creatures.

  • Andro, I live in Montana - two hours from Yellowstone. The Yellowstone bison that carry brucillosis cause spontaneous abortion in the Montana cattle breeders' stock. There are no boundaries, fences, etc. to keep the Yellowstone bison contained. I understand the ranchers' concerns; I wonder if these wonderful bisons could not be better managed and contained by the Fish & Wildlife department, sparing them from death.

    Vienna

  • That would be great my friend, if they could save them. It was truely sad to see them being run down and shot. There must be something that can save them. I knew you lived there, so I thought you might have more info.

  • @ViennaMT I heard they don't like loud noises, maybe the fish and game folks could blast heavy metal or even better rap from quad vehicles to send them back from whence they came.

  • There is enough of america's native inhabitants blood in its soil - without the need to add more.. Please leave these magnificant creatures live in peace.

  • Beautiful animals!

Son un tesoro que se debe cuidar!

  • I hope that by the time I ever get to visit my homeland again - that there will be many buffalo to see living wild and free as they were intended to be !

  • This is so powerful, the best presentation I have seen yet on speaking up for the Buffalo, keep up the fantastic work, I hope many more people will support saving the herd before it's too late.

  • Thank you. I checked out your video, love the way you combine your art and activism. Such an essential combination in this day and age. Endless pressure, endlessly applied.

  • I was so touched by this amazing presentation. You are doing a commendable job!

  • EXACTLY! A MARKETABLE SPECIES SURVIVES! In other words, if people will pay to hunt them, that money can go into conservation, habitat management, or relocation. Look at the Wood Bison in The Yukon Territory of Canada or Elephants in Zimbabwe! If people are allowed to hunt rare animals under regulated conditions, the species thrives. In contrast, check out Tiger populations in India. Prohibition doesn't work. BFC is NOT helping and is probably hurting bison conservation.

  • I've read that eating bison has saved them from the brink of extinction. Because people eat them, they've become marketable, so, as a marketable asset, they are protected and raised, so they have flourished.

  • @Vaughanster They are confined like livestock, an insult to thier majestic nature, there are less than 7,000 genetically pure bison, the rest are contaminated with cattle genes.

Why yellowstone doesnt sell its genetically pure bison to tribes and other folks but kills them instead? you got me even if they test negative for the cattle disease that cattle brought to them brucellosis!

  • @estopatitiana fuck em all cuz there ugly and stupid and the wolfes are what needs to be saving cuz there better!

  • BISOOOOOOOON!!!!!

  • As the video says this is really about control of land and grass, but I want to add that it is also about control of people too.

The bison are killed to show folks in Montana and the rest of the country whose values and interests really count -- those of the public land livestock industry

  • the slaughter of bison is a tragic extension of the Livestock mentality ~~ control all wild things first, find reason (usually illegitimate) for doing so second. this is a wonderful piece and i am thankful for it

  • Thanks! I will pass this on to two groups I belong to! I have written to Schweitzer more then once and I have never gotten replies from either Senator Baucus or Tester. I don't bother with Rehberg as he is pretty worthless on most things!
