BF 3 is trying so hard to be like cod and added that STUPID new origin feature. All the detailed weapons customization, TDM, tighter maps, no one shot sniping unless at close range, etc. Then there is "amazing" "new" frostbite 2 engine and all it has to show off is lighting effects. Textures don't even look as good as BC 2, which is strange.... Vehicles and having 64 players is nice though. I played classical BF games, and BF3 is nothing like them. ITs a console port trying to copy cod. shame...
Call of Duty took the idea of weapon costumization off Battlefield.I dont think you have played enough Bf3 or know enough about it.
Frostbite 2 is not just fancy shadows.Its destructible environment. Battlefield series have their own originality. DICE do not need to try and make Battlefield like cod. Bf3 sucks in some ways anyway, but its a great game. But I would much rather play Bad Company 2, but with Bf3 vehicles.

I've been playing since 2005. Played Battlefield 2 on PC. Been a fan ever since. Even gave 1942 a spin.
I've always loved Battlefield over Call of Duty, so yeah I think Battlefield will be the better game. I play my fair share of CoD as well though and I like it. It's nothing special in my book but it's good fun. I'll be getting both BF3 and MW3 but I already know I'll be putting more time into BF3.
the trailers speak for themselves. the constant updates, release of info, battleblogs, content it offers, reviews from hands on, and my experience with the bad company series tells me bf3 will be amazing. i dont have to play it to know its good because of said reasons i listed. but thats just me i do see what u mean by people sayin shit they dont know.

Secondly, MW3 looks like MW2, BO2..will look like BO..MW4 will look like MW3...the problem is they won't upgrade the engine until the game dies..hell the engine is 15 years old as is, hence why they can't do anything over and beyond what the game before it did, due to limitations of the engine....and it's Activision..they aren't going to be upgrading or spending a dime on a new engine.

From what I've seen, Bf3 is basically medal of honor gameplay (guns, sounds etc), on larger scale bc2 maps (with jets added, of course), with improved graphics. What I don't get, is why everyone hates on mw3 for looking like mw2 graphically. Mw2 has a much smoother engine than most games ive played.

Both mw3 and bf3 look like good games but the which ever one you like is based on what you want out of a multiplayer game. COD is fast pasted and smoother but bf is more strategic and realistic. But people just like bf3 because they hate black ops even though they never played a battlefield game.

I played bc1 and 2 for the campaigns.tried to get into the multiplayer for bc2 didn't hate it just wasn't so much into. Still getting battlefield 3,maybe I'll like the multiplayer more this time.if not I play mw3 for my multiplayer fix. I've been playing since 2005. Played Battlefield 2 on PC. Been a fan ever since. Even gave 1942 a spin.
I've always loved Battlefield over Call of Duty, so yeah I think Battlefield will be the better game. I play my fair share of CoD as well though and I like it. It's nothing special in my book but it's good fun. I'll be getting both BF3 and MW3 but I already know I'll be putting more time into BF3.

Secondly, MW3 looks like MW2, BO2..will look like BO..MW4 will look like MW3...the problem is they won't upgrade the engine until the game dies..hell the engine is 15 years old as is, hence why they can't do anything over and beyond what the game before it did, due to limitations of the engine....and it's Activision..they aren't going to be upgrading or spending a dime on a new engine.

@OKCVista What does the fact it's a different "series" have to do with the graphics and gameplay. I personally have 800hours on bc2, so I know what the fuck I'm talking about here. From what I've seen, Bf3 is basically medal of honor gameplay (guns, sounds etc), on larger scale bc2 maps (with jets added, of course), with improved graphics. What I don't get, is why everyone hates on mw3 for looking like mw2 graphically. Mw2 has a much smoother engine than most games ive played.

hard8 i love your vids man, but im a huge fan of battlefield series because i pc game aswell as ps3. Im really siked for Bf3 on pc because we pc gamers have been shit on by the console recently. Also ive played the bf3 alpha beta and it was alot of fun. yaa diggg!

Tbh mw2 is good but just full of people that love to abuse the servers which make it in fun about 60% of the time but bfbc2 is a much better game serverwise it's hard to camp and much finer product. As for black ops all I have to say is trayarch shud stop doing multiplayer games it's so bad most of the time lol but I agree 100% on what your saying dude, hit me up on xbl rne2k9 is my tag I play mw2and bfbc2 all the time peace out 8.
