@Ljandj99 If you want go back in time,I suggest you move to a third world county! Why stay here w/us terible americans who work hard so we can have the comforts we like! Btw Your useing electricity to power your computer...BAD LIBERAL!
@cobraman96 going back in time would be thinking that the Industrial Revolution that took place in the 1700s is still the way to live life. Living in the present means being open to new technologies that are environmentally friendly so you can keep living and your children's children can live healthy happy lives. I wouldn't expect any intelligent response from a Bush supporter though. Im blocking you Cobraman you are everything that is wrong with this country
you can´t just produce oil ... it´s a fuckin raw material that is producing its self over millions of years ... if we run out .. then we are fucked xDD dumbfuck
Ran out of room. Please check out the video response from Senator Sanders of Vermont just posted. You will hear and learn a few things you need to know about before discussing this further! Thanks my brothers and sisters.
Drilling off shore issue: What price would oil the companies sell it for? They are totally unregulated. Nothing in writing, no description, not even a mention of how much actual dollars and cents savings would be passed along to the American consumer. Gasoline and oil prices are subsidized by the governments of Mexico and in China! When gasoline in San Diego sell for over $4.50 gal, people are crossing the boarder to pay under $2.50 gal. Forget volume availability, price gauging is the problem.
If people are going to vote with their pocketbook I'd be careful.
Gasprice/ gal:
Clinton: 0.98
Bush: 4.98
Another truth in the news yesterday (probably not reported on Fox):
"A 2007 analysis by Bush's Energy Information Administration estimated there may be as much as 18 billion barrels off shore however drilling would not have a significant impact on domestic crude oil and natural gas production or prices UNTIL 2030."
Well, at least Bush got us going on the right track.
Demand for oil has been increasing at a phenomenal rate since automotive revolution. Since China and India have begun to prosper, the demand has gone through the roof. As oil is finite, in nobodies mind can this equation work! (Not even Bushs!!)
If you want cheaper transport, if we want a more sustainable and independent future, if we don't want more war.. we must support the line of politics which will GET US OFF OIL!
scott mcclellan would have us believe the propaganda which lead up to the war in iraq was done because bush wanted to democratize the middle east as part of his idealistic vision. in reality, bush/cheney who are in the oil business wanted to disrupt oil production in the regeon in order to raise oil prices. on a recent trip to saudi arabia, king abdullah told bush he would not raise oil production. bush kissed the king ON THE LIPS man.
I call BULLSHIT. Prove me wrong Mustafa ahmed hussien obama. I dare you.wtf are you saying????????

Here's one fun fact in the Times today: "The world's existing drill-ships are booked solid for five years".
Brazil is first in line after that.
(Guess where they are being built?)
Regardless, details don't bring votes.
I guess an energy policy, is like dealing with the Isreal v Palistine issue, better late than never?

Bush is such a dunce.
We have reached the end of cheap oil.

you are the only person who had anything constructive to say. I'd rather hear a crazy idea than to hear a typical LIB who just whines ALL DAY.
