women were not only in the field hostpital they were infact documented on the battlefield. Clara Barton to name just one of many. Yes the younger ladies would not have been upfront... This was not the norm for us.... Normally there are just two of us assisting Doc...

@civilwarhalftruths Normally women wouldn't partake in such a thing, but during the Civil War there were so many men going off to battle that women were needed to take the places of the men that would normally be doing the job.

This is inaccurate. They didn't let young girls work as nurses at Civil War hospitals because they might see a guy's genitals.

After the Japs invaded and the 8th Route got their hands full trying to stop the Japs from taking Shaanxi, and started taking heavy casualties, women nurses and medics became integral part of the army.

We used to do amputees, and bullet extractions. I wish i couldve gotten some video of the amputee, that was some awesome stuff.

Of course it is fake. My videos are "Civil War Half Truths". But it is one of the very best fakes I have seen. And a fun demonstration. As far as the guy being gay, I don't think so. His wife was one of the nurses.
