  • so do john and george both play the solo's?

  • @chilibro

Hi, On "Get Back" only John play the guitar's solos... Generally, Georges play Guitars Beatles solos ..but sometimes it's john or paul ... in the song "the end" Georges, paul and John play the final guitars solos..

    Regards

  • @chilibro john=solos george=rythm

  • 44 pepole just jealous

  • nice effort, keep the faith and persevere with the cover... details make the difference. Lennon deserve another try... best of luck..!

  • I don't understand the 44 dislikes, anyway, excellent cover :)

  • @cripspat

    Thanks for comment, much appreciate!!

  • @cripspat its timing needs improvement but surely those 47 people can't do it better themselves

  • Your very good at playing, like that means anything from someone you dont know, but still. I want to thank you for being the tie breaker between me getting a hollow body or a les paul, I'm gonna get a hollow body now.

  • @VolutedTadpole

    Thanks for comment,

héhé, hollow body guitars are good for pop rock music, and Les paul for rock.. !!!

now i'm waiting you're 1st you tube video mate!!!

    a big hug of france

  • @nevernous , I was actually considering a Casino...until I played one. For some reason the neck just doesn't "feel" right in my hands. So, I decided to go with the Epi Sheraton2. The neck feels much better ( a tad bit wider, I'm used to playing my '60 Les Paul Custom (Epi.) SG style 3 pick up)and I get the best of both worlds (being a semi hollow body. BTW, Nice rendition of an old fave...thnx!

  • Great!

  • Very nice. Is this the Korean made one?

  • @westfield90

Hi, thanks for comment, it's a China made one!!

  • Hey tio amo tu Epiphone Casino, ademas buen video de la parte de Get Back de John Lennon

  • i find it funny that lennon hates this guitar,

  • Dude more practice, thats a simple song.

  • Nice cover....... But this isn't exactly the way John Lennon played his part. Still nice cover tho.

  • It's kinda dumb how Lennon took off the color and pick guard off of his Casino. It looked SO BORING! xD great cover by the way! 5/5

  • @sacramentolove

Thanks for comment mate!! I also like the casino in sunburst with his pickguard, but I love his sound...!

    regards!

  • @sacramentolove No way! John's casino looked amazing after he modified it!

  • @sacramentolove i thought his guitar looked awsome haha. I havw the lennon inspired

  • @justdippee Now i think it looks awesome due to the fact that he used it! I always thought the Rickenbacker 325 looked awesome. But I'll never get to afford any instruments the Beatles used. Except maybe a sunburst acoustic guitar.

  • @sacramentolove I disagree...

  • @vierdiez you disagree in what? that the Rickenbacker 325 looks cool? In my opinion, the Rickenbacker 325 looks very nice, but it had a weak neck.

  • @sacramentolove No, I think John´s Casino looked so classy after he customized it.

  • @vierdiez oh, sure if you think that. in my opinion, i personally think it looked boring with just one boring color.

  • @sacramentolove Well, that Casino would be boring if it had stayed the way it was meant to, now when you see that white Casino you can say: "it´s John´s guitar".

  • @sacramentolove it doesnt look dumb you idiot he did it to get a different sound to his guitar a more raw sound by shaving the paint off.

  • @tenzell look, im entitled to my own opinion! do i have to spell it out for you? my opinion is that i think it looks dumb how lennon took off the paint, i dont care if you like it or not that i said this but its my opinion, so let it be.

  • @sacramentolove ok fine whatever

  • @sacramentolove he took it off because epiphone uses a polyuerothene laquer which is rubber based and he took it off to make it age and sound a bit better ... the laquer doesnt sound bad but the wood under the laquer wont age properly do to the rubber base and paint kinda weakens and basses up the tone of a guitar for it effectively lets vibration in but slows it very quickly so the guitar had a major improvement without a finish

  • @sacramentolove he felt stripping the finish let the guitar "breathe" better and improved its sound. he did the same with his gibson j-160e and eventually his original rickenbacker 325.

  • @LDD86 He didn't do anything with his Rickenbacker 325. He just stopped using it after 1966.

  • @sacramentolove

ahem...read andy babiuk's book "beatles gear". his original 325 he bought in hamburg he had stripped to its original natural mapleglow and the electronics rewired cos it was so beat up. the luthier also replaced the original gold pickguard with a white one.

you're probably confusing his 2ND rick 325 that the guitar maker gifted to him before the miami ed sullivan broadcast. that one took over as his main axe till '66 and was never stripped (the neck was damaged).

  • @sacramentolove also google "beatles guitars" and you can read about the histories of both of John's Ric 325s

  • specifically google "the fab guitars of the beatles"

  • If I'm not mistaken, George played the solo for Get Back using a fender tellacaster which is what gave the solo a mellow country kind of sound, but you were able to get the same thing out of the casino so rock on man XD.

  • @MrGeno86

Sorry mate, you're wrong, In "get back", john played the guitar solo part and in a Epiphone Casino.. Georges played a telecaster but on the rythm part.. Look at this on Y.Tube search " Beatles rooftop concert" and see...

    Thanks for comment.

    Regards!

  • @nevernous: True, I thought it was a G. Harrison solo until I saw that video. Lennon could rock it, man.

  • @nevernous actually, this only applied for that particular performance of the song; George actually went on to play that part in the studio recording. The reason why John was on lead for that performance was beause he had only previously written the solo, making it easier for him to play it rather than take time for George to learn it.

  • @MrGeno86 In the song, John played lead guitar, that includes playing the solo. Sorry...

  • John Lennon developed into a really good guitarist didn't he! It's such a good part he played in Get Back!

  • @leonardoboy2

you're right mate John was a very good guitarist and artist..! We miss him a lot..!

    ((°J°))

  • are you using a tube amp?

  • @staxtics

No amp for recording mate, sound by a "toneport GX" of line 6 and "Gearbox" software for effect..

    regards

  • Comment removed

  • @BrawlDiscussion um dear prudence is quite easy the intro is the same as the outro and the cords repeat the only thing hard is the picking but even thats easy oh and nice choice for guitar i want the same colour and everything

  • not bad but you have to learn that right ,lot of mistakes

  • @MBGUITARMANIA The Beatles had made quite a few of mistakes on their own recordings. Missed notes, wrong notes.

  • @JRM515 But once it was on the recording they just started playing it like that, so technically it's mistake-free.

  • love the guitar

  • awesome guitar xD

  • its so worth saving up for a Gibson. Nothing like the real deal...

  • epiphones casinos ARE the real deal, they are not only a low budget ES-335

  • @Aldoo20 Take my word for it. Epiphones are great guitars, for beginners, but there comes a time in every mans life where he realizes that it's time for a serious upgrade. There is thousands of dollars in differences between the Epiphone and Gibson. There is a reason why too. If you buy one of the $1000+ casinos it's almost idiotic due to the fact that it's just an Epiphone.

  • Actually in this case this is the real deal... This is the original model of this guitar. Yes the 330 is similar to it, but this one has been used far more than that

  • @TheFoulPhil Yup, Im saving up for a Es-137

  • Hi i might be getting a Epiphone Casino, the same one you have actually, and my dad said before it that I must learn at least enough of acoustic guitar, and I wanted to know the easiest Beatles song to play on acoustic if anyone knew

  • @BrawlDiscussion

    Hi, Thans for comment.

Many Beatles songs are easy to play in arrangement with an acoustic guitar... for exemple: "girl", "let it be", "you've got to hide your love away".... and many other mate..... good work!

  • @BrawlDiscussion eight days a week . girl . here comes the sun. babys in black. twist and shout

  • Since my last post I bought an Epiphone Casiono in transparent cherry red. This guitar is so sweet.

  • Congratulation...!

  • heyy, alright guitar solo But me I like your guitar:) GOOD !!!!!!!!!

  • Hi, thanx for comment... My guitar very appreciate you liked it..

  • I own a Sheraton II and have access to a Casino. They feel very much the same to play. The difference lies in the hollow vs. semi-hollow and P90's vs. humbuckers. They are a world apart sound wise. If I was as rich as I am good looking, I would buy a Casino as well.

  • yes, two differents spirits on those 2 guitars..

    regards

  • @windingtime That's interesting you say they sound totally different, I used to have a Sheraton II but sadly I had to sell it :-) I'm concidering getting a Casio, which would you say is better? By "better" I guess I'm asking which sounds more meaty with the gain/ distortion cranked up as I imagineit's pretty even stevens with the clean / natural sound.

  • so how does this guitar play? or did you just buy it cause john paul and george all have one? cause i want this guitar, only i want the Bigsby. So its nice? yes?

  • Hi mate, This is a wonderfull guitar with a particuliar sound because it's equiped with famous P90 anilco pickups.. on this hollow body you have this faboulous vintage sound with a little natural cruch.. not only Beatles have this guitar... the edge of U2, Paul Weller...!

  • sweet!! thank you!

  • @milnerla

The bigsby may look good, but really badly affects the tuning. be careful

  • Awesome job! Im getting the natural colored casino. Great sound

  • treabean!!

  • thanx ...! also for try french..! (très bien)..

  • great job;)

  • Thanx ..! much appreciate ..

  • Not quite nailed it mate but good all the same!

  • Nice played

  • thanks mate...!

  • Send me the tabs, please!

To your fellow mate, Alien8990, all right.

  • Are you a female?

  • ha ha no sorry...!

  • Well, your fingers kina look like female fingers; they're small and I see a ring on your ring finger.

Anyways, I just saw your cover on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' and it's a really cool cover you did! I absolutely loved it better than the rest of your covers-it's just awesome. By the way, how do you overdubb music?? Tell me how, please.

  • With "audacity" (free software) and videos with "wave video" of easy media creator... (the ring is because Im married mate)

  • Oh cool, hehhe. I've always wanted to overdubb a song myself...and as for "mate"??

    I thought you were Mexican!

You kinda look Mexican to me, but now I think you're British, am I right??

  • Ha ha ...! no mate, it's the 2nd time when tou make a mistake...! I'm French... Big Hi of France...

  • Oh, hahahahh! Sorry, first I thought you were Mexican by the accent of yur singing, fingers, and kinda by the skin color, then British, and now you're really French, okay now I know. What is a "sur"??

By the way, I just saw another cover called "Get Back" and it's also freaking impressive, mate! What

  • Thanks, your awsome

  • Good job by the way, very cool

  • Is this a regular casino or a elitist? I just like the elitist better because it has U.S.A. made P-90's in it, and the regular doesn't.

  • Hi mate, my casino is a regular but pickups Anilco P90 are in it...! but you're right, the elitist is better because made in USA and it isn't the same wood.. the price it isn't the same too ....;-)

  • gracias, me sirvio de mucho tu claridad !!!!

  • this is very good job

  • thank you very much..

  • no affence but you played it nothing like the beatles.

  • great cover!

  • is that an elitist

  • no, just a little casino mate.

  • were did you get the tabs?
