Thunderhawk's great in and of itself. Must've been '68 when I first rode this coaster with my late-mother; a coaster enthusiast of the highest order. Literally and figuratively speaking that is. Any vestigial trace of old Dorney's worth preserving. May it thunder-on in perpetuity.

@EC0082 Idk. i think the hydra is scarier because there is som kind of force when you're going upside down. the steel force just has big hills and turns. but on both you're breathless, the feelling of falling high hills really fast

My favourite coaster in the park.

At first, when I first went on it, some guys were mocking the operators like, "Make is go faster!" "Yeah! Ha ha!"

Cause because it was made of wood, you'd think it was a kiddie ride. But no. It felt dangerous as Hell.

After the ride, everyone was shaking, and laughing nervously. "That was.. awesome!"

dude, i strongly reccommend not going than. its gonna be packed there on fourth of july weekend. you should go like 2 weeks after. im going a week after the fourth, on july 14. make sure there are no special events when you go too. and try to go on a tuesday or monday. thats how you get the shortest lines.
