@anvilofcrom: Samhain/G/D/ was sometimes know to wear an S&M mask during gigs. I have read about this for many many years, but never saw it until now.
From what I understand, Rick Rubin was at this show, and began courting them to sign with Def Jam immediately after -- where they signed, Rick Rubin forced Damian and London out of the band,changed their name to Danzig, etc. shortly after.
