I love Les Miserables and Phantom (both are 1. and 2. respectively) but I didn't like Nick as Marius. I'd prefer Ramin as Marius and Hadley Fraser as Enjolras in the 25th anniversary (but oh well, you can't change history)!
I didn't think Love Never Dies was that bad, but it's not in my top 10 but in my top 20 musicals I like at #20.
My top 10 10. Cabaret 9. Sweeney Todd 8. South Pacific 7. Avenue Q 6. West Side Story 5. Evita 4. Gypsy 3. Follies 2. The Phantom of the Opera 1. Les Miserables
Les Miserables is absolutely my favorite. I have the dvd's of the 10th and 25th anniversary's of Les Mis from England. I've been to the musical in Holland, I come from there :P
Ohh id so love to see the beauty and the beast musical. One of my favourite disney movies <3. And guys remember this is stephh1991 so maybe not all "your favourites" are on the list, since its a personal list.
almost agree- Almost!=] I'd re order and switch legally blond for fiddler on the roof- although that play has to be done right and IW as very lucky to see it done right. I'm also thinking of Hello Dolly and Throughly MOdern Millie!
@PhantomMan400 Les Miserables is amazing, you'll love it!!! You can get the 25th Anniversary on DVD or Blu Ray! It's only a concert and not the full stage version though so I would still recommend seeing it live if you ever get the chance! I was fortunate enough to get to see it in London! =]
@rjd061 I haven't had the opportunity to see Miss Saigon live yet which is why I didn't include it. I have heard some of the songs though, and I love them! =] Hoping it comes back to Broadway soon!
@lachlanjones24 Haven't seen Mary Poppins yet, and I have tickets to see The Addams Family in January! =] I'll probably have to make a new video soon since I've discovered so many more great musicals since making this one! Like The Book of Mormon! =P
Perhaps Tarzan will make it big. Lord of The Rings only played in London and was gone. The King and I... you know, it's wonderful that there are so many!
@legit934 OH COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Les Miserables is the best thing since sliced bread... it's passionate, moving, emotional, etc. i could go on for hours about how Les miz is so much better then wicked , seeing as les miz is based upon actual events and wicked is pure fiction. i enjoy wicked but les miz is the absolute shit!
oooh... where did you get the recording of Ramin as Phantom? I'm definitely going to get the 25th anniversary dvd, but if there's more (older stuff) I'd gladly take that as well ;)
@cinefreak76 The footage of Ramin are just from some pro shot clips. There's no full recording of him in Phantom yet that I'm aware of. But the 25th Anniversary was absolutely AMAZING!!! I can't wait for it to be released! =]
@WhiteRebeldeAngel Yup, it's Nick playing Marius in Les Miserables 25th Anniversary. I was afraid to watch it when I saw his name, but he surprised me and actually wasn't too bad. =] Haha he will also be taking over the lead role in How to Suceed in Business Without Trying on Broadway after Darren Criss.
@stephh1991 wasn't too bad? well, that's putting it nicely... I think he has an ok voice, but isn't right for the part of Marius. Saw him live at Queen's Theatre last year and he was by far the weakest of the cast members, voice-wise. Another part in another show might work for him though.
i <3 les mis, wicked and Phantom, but i think i would switch phantom and wicked. just my opinion, though.:) great vid! i was glad the wicked bit was in good resolution!
what a wide range :D

1- Les Miz. It has changed my life forever.
2- CATS. It brightened my life.
3- Wicked. The songs change my point of view.
4- Moulin Rouge. The songs could go with anything, and the remixes are amazing.
5- We Will Rock You. Gave me the greatest time in my life a couple of years ago in year 7 when we did it at school.
6- Sweeny Todd. Totally decided my Halloween costumes!
7- Chicago. Amazing story and gripping songs.
8- Sister Act. The songs make me think.
All in all, I LOVE MUSICALS!
