  • look !! Its a flinstone airplane.

  • Impressive, but I think I am going to stick to my fiberglass planes.. :)

  • Mitlerweile gibt es aber mehr oder? Ach das ist ja eins wo man unten die Füße draußen hat. Die gibt es heute schon in Kunststoffbauweise. Die sehen auch total geil aus.

  • Little brother of the Grunau Baby! :)

This happened in BRD and flying license was not required for this ultra-ultra-light category at the time, did I get it correct please?

  • Och der Leiber !!!!!

I would like to know if is possible to have the project, and build this plane in Italy. thank's.

  • That was so inspiring!!!!!!!

    GREAT VIDEO

    I LOVE IT!!

  • is there life on maaaaaaaaaaars!!

  • Is the volumn too god dam loud?

  • Magic

  • Really nice landing!

  • The White Baron!

  • G loading well what do you mean g-loading, the plane and pilot don't weight

but 350 pounds total, so at 4 g's thats

1400 700 per wing probably stand up to twice that for 8 g's try that in your cessna

  • that's the fanciest pair of pants i've ever seen!

  • Think about the g loading on that thing. What would happen in a spin or a spiral dive? I would never fly that.

  • If you have experience with this type of lightweight construction, you recognize it is a strength. The concern you have is misplaced. The construction is much stronger than you would think and the airframe is so light that high speeds necessary for high g is quite limited. Of course, this airframe is not designed for the stresses of full aerobatics, but it is an incredibly strong design for simple and safe flight.

  • What did they say??????????????

  • Wonderful glider - thats exactly what I was banging on about when I flew sailplanes in the 1990s; there was no kind of entry class for modest income folks. That glider is it. Classic looks and simplicity, from an earlier, simpler time.

  • wow, I would be afraid to even launch that sailplane like that!

  • Pussy.

  • i want one

  • oh.good job! I like it!

  • Thanks for your help; I love reveiwing this video over and over again;

  • Both Winghalves: 25kg

    Fuselage: 22kg

    Rudder: 700g

    Stab: 3.7kg

    Altogether: 50-55kg

  • That's amazing! I don't speak German could someone translate as to what the unladen weight was? Was it 50Kilo's? Also what was the construction material?

  • probably Sitka spruce and aircraft plywood with dacron covering

  • Uldenbar!!!
