@DSXentertainment I don't know why but Donkey Kong felt like a forced series. First there was just Donkey Kong then there was like 10 other kongs. And yes Donkey Kong is a mario rip off, they have very simlar level designs and gameplay but difrent settings. And who cares about video game storys. And the Donkey Kong game sucked.

@DSXentertainment The gameplay is the exact same as mario, I have no idea how you can argue it? You go around jumpinng on enemys through stages in a world and ride animals for powerup's. A quote by Miyamoto is "Donkey Kong Country proves that players will put up with mediocre gameplay as long as the art is good." Donkey Kong is nothing special.

@Bauglir100 Donkey Kong was originaly with Mario, those games where good. Then Mario got his own series and was fantastic. Soon after Donkey Kong got his won series which was a boring forced series. It is a ripoff of Mario and always annoyed me how they went from having just 2 characters, DK and DK jr. to having over 10 kongs with bland cliched personalitys. Donkey Kong just never did it for me.
