@brodie1709 The high water after Breakup still threatens to wash it out. Last yr it pushed pretty hard on the bridge. It still needs to be higher, but there is little to anchor it to on one side.
@seadoolover360 I have decide to accept your offer, but becouse you issued it, I guess I get to pick the terrain, right? I will give you some options, just 'couse I'm a nice guy :-)
Race across my lake, I'll give you a 1 mile head start if you like.
Race across a Muskeg bog, there are several here to choose from.
Timed Race across your choice of terrain. First I will load your machine on top of mine and run the course, then you load my machine on yours and run the same course, lmao
@RockDoctor07 I have a max 4 (hey its all I could afford) and a 04 honda 450 with 2 inch lift and 29"swamp witch tires etc even I have to laugh @ the kid talking crap for longer bumpier trails and steep hill climbs and peanut butter mud I will take my Honda any day of week watery type mud deep water crossings crap on the trails well any water over 2 feet will take the max its a rough ride but gets you there and is great to fish out of!
@spinningstarr I've heard good things about the MAX4, although I've never had a chance to try one. Nice to have the option to take the Max or the quad though. I have a couple Honda 300's, good machine's but a little on the small side.
Wondering why you needed the bridge when the Argo's went right through the creek? Does it stay above the water level normally even during spring? Looked like a full days job. Neat Video. Can you explain your video capture set up? thanks!
All of us have quads that we run on this trail as well. In the Spring, the water level can be well over my chest. I've had to swim across with my winch line more than I care to think about. Bridge is now above the normal high water levels, but this spring it could be in trouble again. This yr, we have twice the normal snow load around here, and it has not even started to melt yet. The bridge could be in trouble.
As for the Vid setup. At this point I was using a Samsung SCX-210L. Very nice little setup, very easy to use, and comes with everything you need. Now I use a VIO POV1, it's not as compact and easy as the Samsung but it has some advantages, as well as a better picture.
This was my little brother saying that he is only 8 years old he didn't realize. I ma 32 I would of known any good job love to watch cool videos' like this and what do u hav for a camera I don't know much about them is it like a head mounted camera
thats scary I'd be worried about the winchline snapping and getting whipped with it. What creek is this? Are you out Kledo way or down around minnaker?
The old dog is going sweet I don`t have to get wet .

any atv could have rescued that. My fucking trx400 could have brought it back. It took like 3 fucking argos for you to do it.

Couldn't all u guys just lift it up
DaManzMoney 3 years ago
LOL, The bridge rails are made from "Extra Heavy Wall" Pipe. Even with twice as many guys, we would not have been able to lift it.

I had that though running through my head throughout the day, very scary.
The Creek has no name that I am aware of, it's about 100kms north of town.
