@awolLDSasap I, too, see that "fat men" make good slow-bellied (pot-bellied pigs?) "guards", that way! Certainly, the Word of Weezdom is not part of their lifestyle.

This rather reminds me of O. Porter Rockwell: that pot-bellied pig of a man who was "useful" as Joseph Smith's personal bodyguard and gopher.

@awolLDSasap I would agree with you, "on all counts": the Scientologists (whose worldwide HQ was only 40 miles from where I now live) have certainly used those same tactics. ODDLY, some dysfunctional LDS (in the Desert Southwest of the country), were told to go to the local Scientology place, to learn about interpersonal relationships. They actually had a good working rapport, with each other: those LDS and Scientologists, in that big Southwest city. At the time, I found that just plain ODD.

Way back in the seventies we would go to Temple Square to share why we left the church and how Jesus christ is not represented right in the LDS Teachings. There was a guard there who always wore a pick suit, who would always give us a lot of trouble. I doubt if he's still there because he would be pretty old by now.
