Dunno, but I never seem to ever come across any really horribly running duramaxes or problems with the motors themselves. im sure there are better years/generations than others etc etc..., but, i do seem to come across many videos with really fucked up powerstrokes. i know there was a good few years of them and the bad ones etc..,...just saying...
