  • @helloperson77

A worm snake. They are like smaller than a worm.

  • do u guys now any snakes that dont grow bigger than 1 foot

  • is it a normal okeetee? if it is im getting one of those they look so cool when matured!

  • @sub1469 yup, just a normal okeetee. And thanks

  • sweet song and i FINALLY convinced my mom to get me a snake butshe only said corn snake and i have to know what to do so i rely on youtube and my pet store

  • @sunjacker9000 Ok well does ur mom know it can grow 6ft? annyway corn snakes make great pets but if ur looking on the smaller side get a sand boa they only grow 1 metre so if ur shur on a corn babys will stay in a 10 gal tank adults in a 20 gal 4 the babys dont go any bigger then a 10 gal, half the side of the tank has to be heated with a heat pad underneath the tank just drill holes underneath it for substrate just use news paper and if you really want to put in a uv,hope this helps

  • @DJ182100 yeah this was 2 months ago so i decided to get a bearded dragon beacuse corn snake scared my little brother and the pet store did not have any and my mom thought a sand boa grew LONG but i looked at the bearded dragon tank and they where as cute as hell and dont get that long as a corn snake

  • How big is this vivarium?

  • The song fits I'm going to name my snake Maynard lol!

  • You have to feed them in a seperate tank

  • i have a corn snake he isnt that big but hes getting there hes a baby

  • whats the name of the song

    ???????

  • @1crackit the pot by tool

  • i dont no the song but it sounds really good on my speakers

  • TOOL!!!! i love tool, and dude do I need a heating pad for a corn snake? because I have a heat lamp, and Im purchasing a cornsnake soon

  • @BrandonTboxer10 As long as one side of the cage is mid 80s it doesnt really matter. Its better to have a heat pad since they absorb heat through their bellies. But then you have to pick up a regulator to make sure they dont burn. Cuz those things get cray hot

  • @herpnut A way around that is to use a sort of padding substrate instead of wood or like it and stick the pad underneath.

  • @herpnut Also, thats gorgeous for a corn snake

  • What song is this? Tool?

  • so this is an okeetee rigth

  • He should not be feeding this snake in his cage!!!! The smell of the rat in the cage with be there a long time. Everytime a person might stick there hand in there he might think it is food. Not a good idea!!!

  • @freshgeorge1 Its personal preferance. Ive never had a problem with it for 6 years. I have more of a chance of getting bit removing a snake from a cage and then back in just minutes after feeding than I do 2 days after I wait to handle them after being fed. It also caused unecessary stress when they're about to eat.

  • @freshgeorge1 i feed my burmese python in its cage and hes a puppy, i can stroke him on the chin and everything

  • hmm, i prefer feeding my snakes outside the cage....never had problems with it...

by the way, beautiful snake ;D

  • ok i was woundering what i should feed mine because I,am feeding him 2 hopper mice every 7days and was wounder should i upgrade the size, hes about as thick as a looney

  • @ZR1KingOfTheHillZR1 i'd say maybe one adult mouse every week should be fine

  • Love your setup, and the feeding itself with the paper towel down in the cage. Awesome!

  • I put down a piece of cardboard for mine, I don't touch him or his tank for 24 hours after he eats.

  • i know im high

  • I totally appreciate thefact that you put the paper towel down. I've never thought of that - it's a great way not to have to put the snake out of the tank while it feeds!

  • perfect music

  • one of my ball pythons when he smells food goes absolutely insane i cant even barely pick him up to put his in his feeding bin and he eats imediatly like every time my hand is near when theres a smell of a rodent , he doesnt even look before he strikes, best feeder i have next to my corn snake

  • THE POT

  • how old is the snake in the video

  • awww cute....how old is ur snake? mines is a baby but i have no idea how old it is because i forgot to ask petsmart..=|

  • wow tight ass snake my cornsnakes a month or 2 old and its 2 ft

  • you said you had it for 3 years how big was it when you got it.... im fishing for info on about how fast they average growing. thanks

  • lol at the beginning i was thinking: why are they singing loudly while feeding their snake?!

  • lol i was thinking the same thing!

  • awesome snake id like if youd give me some tips because im getting one tomorrow. and btw great song choice i love tool and its cool to meet another tool fan also for the people that want to know what song it is its The pot or pot by tool. another cool band to try is a prefect circle which is the band this awesome voice you hear is in now idk if they are still active but still awesome and sorry for getting off topic i just love maynard

  • georgous snake. colubrids ftw!

  • very cool snake!

  • i read that u need a sepret feeding tank .. or will paper towel like that work ??

  • Your supposed to feed them in a seperate habitat, this snake owner is just a fucking moron.

You also supposed to use feeding tongs. His vivarium is also too small for a snake that size. But most people keep pets when they shouldn't.

How would you like to be locked up inside a room thats the equivalent of 10x10 with no tv, computer, nothing at all, just getting fed enough to stay alive.

Some life. Pet owners who can't properly care for their animals should be shot. Fucking morons.

  • @Phayze87 you don't HAVE to have a seperate feeding tank, some people just choose to to avoid a feeding response when you go to handle the snake.

  • you're absolutely right.... somebody get that snake a laptop, he needs to update his facebook!!!!

  • u dont hav to on a sepret feeding tank unless the mice is alive :)

  • nice snake

i have a normal corn and a butter motly

  • omg !! the mouse pee'd himself!! what the Heck lol !!!!!! xD peeeeeeee lol he strangled him so hard he PEE'D !!

  • Try googling "The Munson Plan" for a good idea on how much and how often you should be feeding your snake. That's what I use, and it's pretty handy!

    PS, AWESOME SONG CHOICE, OP!

  • Whats the difference between Common Corn Snake And a Okeete cornsnake mines look like thats but it also looks like a common onw i dont know which it is ..

  • i hear that its easier for corn snakes to gain weight when they have reached their adult size. this corn seems to be at its correct weight so how often would you feed this size corn that size mouse to avoid weight gain as i have also heard its a long process for them to lose weight? my corn is a cb08 and currently 2ft 4inch and on a medium mouse every 7 days. just looking for some scope as how often to feed larger mice as my corn grows.

  • I feed mine every 7 days. As they get older (3-4 years) you can push it back to every 10 days but I rarely do that. As long as the mouse is the right size feeding every 10 days is fine as they get older. I still feed every week because they still show no signs of being obese. Feeding every 7 days wont make them obese. Feeding snakes every 3 or 4 days will. What your doing is perfectly fine. And should be as your corn gets older.

  • i thought its better practice to feed snakes in a different place then in their normal habitats

  • it is but lot of peeps dont cuz there to lazy

  • That is not totally true. The main reason people feed outside of the cage for colubrids is so they dont ingest the substrate. I feed my snakes on the paper towel so that doesnt happen. Another reason is because people think they will mistake feeding time for handling time. Ive had these snakes for 3 years and not changed any of my husbandry techniques. Ive still yet to get bitten nor have they tried to bite me.

  • its god that ur feedig him on paper towel. thanks

  • @herpnut feeding em outside the cage is better , they arent intelligent at all,( they can really think or learn everything they do is instinct) but if you feed them in their cage they will strike at the glass when ever they see movement and they will refuse food more often...

  • it is !

  • Name of the song?

  • The pot by tool

  • Thanks

  • looks just like my corn, revels :)

  • How long do they grow ??

What type of food or animal do they eat ??

    Msg back thanks !

  • it grows to 6ft

    eats mice or lizards

  • what enclosure size? i may get a snow CS

  • around 5 feet in captivity

and they eat mice (size depends ofc off how big the snake is :D)

  • deos anybody know if a sunglow adult female is rare might get one

  • They're not very rare. WHat they are is an Amel with a lack of white around the saddles. They're a beautiful morph though! O

  • so is it rare it deos have some white

  • No, it's not rare. Pretty much, if you pay under 300 for it from a reputable breeder, it's not rare.

  • original prize was 325 but hes a close friend

  • how old is he

  • about 31/2 years

  • ye dats wa i do once a week so wen will it be huge like yours? about its 2 now??

  • so would mine grow quicker or slower if i feed him 1 a week

  • Once a week is perfect. He'll grow at a steady rate. Anything under every 5 days is considered powerfeeding IMO. This is when people constantly offer food so their snake will just grow. It's unhealthy for the snake and decreases its lifespan. Id go with 1 time a week if I were you.

  • cool whejn do you feed youres what date mine 1 a week

  • i feed every mon or tues. SInce it's winter I;ve been slowing down, but only maybe 10 day stretches at a time. Mine sense the cold and are not as eager to feed so I dont feed every week. I'll never let it go longer than 2 weeks though.

  • awsome snake mate how old is it and at what age will it be at that size?

  • he's almost 4 years old. Size depends more on how often you feed rather than how old he is. So a snake anywhere from 3 to up to 4 the year mark can be that big

  • Beautiful snake... bad idea to feed him where he lives though.

  • That's really all a matter of preference. The paper towl was there so he didnt injest any substrate. IMO aggresiveness has nothing to so with feeding a snake in different places. In fact, the only time I;ve ever been bitten was when I tried that, and had to transfer him back to the cage because I was mistaken for food. I've fed them like this for 3 years now and it's worked out great. Not trying to get all defensive or anything. Just saying why it's not actually bad.

  • love the song choice! I have an okeetee too.

  • nice corn snake ;) nice big body
