  • Go onto BUAV to see what brands dont test, a lot say they don't but the ingredients they use are tested on animals. Superdrug own brands are BUAV approved! :)

  • i have such sensitive skin and i'm allergic to almost all brands of makeup.. but not to gosh. my dermatologist stated that they don't test on animals and most of their face products doesn't carry alcohol (so it's not drying for eczema or dry skin conditions). so yay for gosh!!! <3

  • Revlon is non-tested

  • @roxxiegirl07 Its not about changing anything, its about how you live your own life. If I got Rimmel or L'Orel makeup who test on animals I feel so guilty I would never use it, their suffering is not worth a beautiful red and look pretty. So I don't by it. Thats why I am cruelty free. But its up to you, how to live your own life. Great video! I found some new products I can use =] Thank you Jasmine!

  • Go you. Spread the word. People dont realise the torture animals are put through, chemicals spread on rabbits eyes. its not putting lipstick on pigs like the simpsons depicts it. Wish more people would realise that they can make a difference, in numbers. And even if one person can't, why support something so obviously wrong and barbaric? Its tough sometimes, having to search for products and not just being able to go into Boots or whatever and pick something up.

  • stargazer and urban decay are cruelty free... and they have some luuurvely colours :)

  • Manic Panic has cruelty free stuff. :)

  • is covergirl tested on animals? i really dont want to use anythinnthat is tested on animals eather

  • Estee Lauder does test on animals. They are on the DO TEST list. Okay sorry, apparently they used to and PETA maybe hasn't updated their info maybe? Most sites about animal testing say they do but apparently they do not...And they own MAC so....oops.

  • @YellowCheapers they don't anymore and they haven't since the eighty's. :) :)

  • A complete list of cruelty free products will be found on leapingbunny

  • why does it have to be tested on animals?

  • @HollisterRocks899 makeup, household items like cleaners, perfumes, etc. are sometimes tested on animals to see if it would cause any deadly reaction such as burns and stuff besides allergic ones to the skin/or body. they use animals instead of humans. i would rather them use humans. they could use the people like casey anthony and charles manson.

  • @roxxiegirl07 so, one person is one person less money to animal testing.

  • In the UK we won't have to worry about animal testing for makeup as it's being banned in the EU from 2013 :D yayyy.

My cat is like the identical to my cat from what I can see. My cat appears black but really she's pretty much a dark brown and ultra fluffy! :D

  • Burt Bees tests on animals :/ i respect what your doing but you've already bought them. fine you may be stopping now, but millions of people buy rimmel i dont think one persons going to stop them all :/

  • @roxxiegirl07 Not buying those products will WILL make a difference! By not buying them you can save about 100 lives a year! She may be one person but she can make a difference for at least 100 animal lives! Also when people say oh your just one person i thinks its CRAP! All those one people added up save Millions of lifes each year!!!

  • revlon doesn't test on animals

  • collection 2000 do test on animals.

  • where can i find a list of companies that do not test on animals? theres always some "yes they do" and "no they dont"

  • i think its wondeful you think that way and stick to what you say , i try to avoid animal tested products but forget and breakdown so kudos to you :)

  • @roxxiegirl07 Over 25,000 have seen this video, and I hope that I have influenced some people to change their buying habits. Speaking with your money is the real weapon, not protesting or signing petitions.

  • I am a vegetarien and also suport makeup companies that do not test on animals:) go you!!¨

Ps: try essence, they are a really good and cheap company that does NOT test on anmals

  • Burts bees is now owned by Clorox wich does test

  • Clinique is NOT cruelty free...

  • Covergirl Tests on animals

  • @TransAmLove1 omg srsly? D:

  • Rimmel? Noooooooooo! I did some research and they only Might test, so I'm hoping not. But I can't promise I'll give them up..so everytime I buy a rimmel product I shall donate money to an animal charity.

  • what about covergirl?

  • @warmvanillasugar29 Covergirl tests on animals

  • Revlon and Loreal do not test on animals anymore

  • @thekit2katbar are you sure? where did you hear this because i would love to know for sure.

  • is soap and glory animal testing?

  • @pnkjen No to my knowledge Soap and Glory do NOT test on animals - thankfully, as they are one of my favourite brands! x

  • No worries, I was just here to inform :D

  • I'm so sorry, but Burt's Bees is in fact tested on animals. They are owned by Clorox, which tests on animals. Burt's Bees may not test their products directly on animals, but the money you pay for their products will go to Clorox, which does. Same goes with L'Oreal and The Body Shop. Body Shop doesn't test, but it's owned by a company that does.

  • @rushofroses the woman who runs the body shop was a entrepreneur. its not owned by a company as far as i'm aware? sorry if i'm wrong.

  • @rushofroses okay sorry i just looked up some things and noticed that the body shop is actually in the L'Oreal group who do test - sorry!

  • cool collection!!!!!! i luv ur accent!!!!!!! its just cool to me cuz i dont have 1 lolz!!!

  • ELF are cruelty free aren't they?

  • @Terrimxmad yes they do not test on animals

  • Im pretty sure that the ban for cosmetic testing on animals has gone into affect in the UK as of 2009. So if I understand it correctly all makeup produced in the UK is NOT tested on animals. I dont live there though so if I'm wrong feel free to correct me. Of course some companies still DO test on animals in the US even thought they dont in the UK so their not really 'cruelty free'. Hope this helps...

  • Revlon actually does NOT test on animals. =] Which is good because they are one of my favorites.

Peta has their Caring Consumer list that tells you which companies test, don't test, and which are even vegan! =] Revlon is on the "Does not test" list.

Thank you so much for agreeing not to contribute to something so horrible.

    <33

  • Almay is not tested on Animals

  • Clinque does animal testing. Almay does not animal test.

  • yes most drug store make up test on animals they abuse animals so bad it will traumatize you it is sick so please before you buy any thing make sure it s not tested on animals and please become a vegetarian you should see what animals go thru they live is dirt and there feces abused and they make them suffer and kill them there is great vegeterian burgers there is many choices the more you buy animal products the more they abuse inocent animals that cant defends for them self god bless all

  • ok wow people its make up and even though the say they dont test on animals they do

  • please someone answer me is mac tested on animals

  • @twittertweetxx haha no its not i think it was in the first pile (:

  • @twittertweetxx supposely not, but you never know. sorry for my english

  • @twittertweetxx

    apparently they don't..

however I've heard that the ingredients they get are from animal tested

companies therefore it isn't cruelty free

  • @twittertweetxx no, it's not, it actually is in the "cruelty-free" list from peta

  • @marielamabux Yeh but PETA dont always help when trying to find out whther a company is tested on animals...fair enough that state which ones do and which ones dont but thats a mere handful os cosmetic companies. not the full lot!

So looking at Petas site alone isnt enough

  • Thank you!! Thank you for doing this, i'm trying to clean up my make-up kit as well =)

  • I am doing the same as you. i feel bad for spending money on the animal tested products because of my ignorance. Now i know better i am going completely cruelty free on cosmetics and other household products whenever i could. Great to know that other people like you care to make a difference

  • i have NEVER used makeup tested on animals

    its not right

  • Thank you! I'm so happy MAC doesn't test on animals! Is Wet n Wild? Thanks to this video I wont buy anything that DOESN'T say "not tested on animals" on it! Thank you love.

  • L'oreal used to be on the no testing list, but they took them off because they didn't respond. It's iffy but don't buy from them until it's positive. boots doesn't test btw, neither does gosh or revlon.

  • OMG almost ALL of my fave drugstor products ARE TESTED ON ANIMALS? >:(

  • sorry if you already know but collection 200o and all of the boots own brand (natural collection,17,no 7)

    miss sporty

  • Happy Anniversary OxfordJasmine! <3

  • Happy Anniversary OxfordJasmine

  • do more vids with cruelty free cosmetics please.

  • Revlon isnt tested on animals its on the cruelty free list on from Peta

  • Aww I just saw at the end of the video your cat died :( That's so sad they're part of family it's so sad losing to lose them :(

  • PETA has a list of all companies that test and don't test on their website. I'd check it out.

  • I don't know much about makeup understanding but is cruelty free mean good...right?

  • Love that you are cruelty free! I have been for about 7 yrs now, and loving it. I was told by Revlon that they do not test. You sound like a wonderful person :)

  • Hi, I have just today discovered this video. I find it very hard to find out which companies test on animals. So far, I have been going by the caring consumer list from PETA. But Revlon is listed as a cruelty free brand there and not in your video. I am confused. I find this really difficult.

  • great my dear goign cruelty-free feels good; specially in your Conscience!

Urban decay is an excelent brand and does not test on animals, hard candy (sold at walmart now), two faced cosmetics, revlon, almay, physicians formula, there are sooooo many awesome products that Don't test on animals!!!!!! :-)

  • i no that OLAY tests on animals :(

  • do you know wether or not neutragena uses animals?

  • @aliveforanimation neutrogena does test on animals!

  • @GemmaMarie138: i gave up my pile of "bad" makeup, and i feel great, because I know that I'm not using stuff that's been tested on animals on my face. and I've boycotted what you call "good" makeup brands. so maybe you should do the same, stop using stuff from companies that do test on animals. if u knew what they do to those animals...

  • @dogsandpiano;

congratulationss! im highly AGAINST animal testing, but you know how you said you threw it all away? iwouldnt do that, because at the end of the day, you payed for stuff, and the company still gets the moeny either way.

    but still, congratss :)

  • OMG u are a spastic!! Giving up good make up for an animal? Thats insane I use most of those things you say ARE tested on animals but I dont care!!!

  • @GemmaMarie138 You have every right to be ignorant if you choose to be, but you have no right to call someone a "spastic" for choosing not to be. Looks like that comment someone left on your profile said it rather well, you seem to be rather "brainless". Please, go and do some research. Take a good look at the pain and suffering these animals go through just for heartless people like you who "don't care".

  • Congratulations on going cruelty free!

Though you've already done damage, it's never too late to raise awareness and make a difference.

  • do you know if, h&m , collection 2000, 17, la femme, beauty uk, 2true, iimage or laura paige test?

  • also do you know if h&m , 17, beauty uk, la femme, collection 2000, 2true, image or laura paige test ?

  • hey great videos this is soo good that you are getting make up not tested on animals !!! yey !! :) (L) please subscribe xxx

  • Everyone needs to do this, its so important. We need you use the power of youtube to spread the message! X

  • this is great! im buying no animal testing products now.

  • Loreal and rimmel? No more for me!!!

  • omg rimmel ? i had no idea wow thanks

  • thats a really nice and good idea im going to do that now, btw do you still have Harvey? Hes so cute =^.^=

  • Hey again..I just read your info box and saw your mention of Revlon =) Atleast a couple drugstore brands don't test on animals... Have a great night!

  • I'm not trying to be rude at all just honestly wondering what's the point in not using the products if you've already purchased it? Hasn't the damage already been done because you've already given them your money? But thank you so much for making cruelty free a priority on your channel!

  • Yes the damage has been done in my ignorance. Now I know better, I don't want to use products in my videos which are not cruelty free. That would be hypocritical of me as I don' t use animal tested products and ingredients. I don't want to give them any more publicity or recommendations to others to buy them. I hope you can understand that.

  • This is heartwarming! I'm so determined to make our world cruelty-free and we need more people like you!! Keep up the amazing work and spreading the word!

  • I support you! This is my new year's resolution, to live kindly :)

  • you are awesome!

  • i admire you!

im doing this aswell. i didnt know how much procter and gamble i had in my house! the biggest animal testing company...

    threw it all out :)

  • Thank you for doing this, I've been looking all day for a video about this, someone telling people about this.

    *subscribes*

  • Ahhh thank you! I've been searching for a make up video that is cruelty free. 5

  • Yes, gosh is not tested on animals and from what i've heard beauty factory is tested on animals! So glad there's some other people who care enough about animals to stop buying from those companies.

  • good for you!

  • Great !

  • I love that you are doing this, there are so few make up gurus who use cruelty free make up. Thanks for setting such a shining example :)

  • revlon isnt tested on animals=]

  • You are doing a great job, speaking for the voiceless. keep up the good work =D

  • I love your determination! =]

  • im so glad you care!

  • R.I.P Harvey

He Is So Cute Bless Him

He Is Better In Cat Heaven xx

  • Thanks for this video! I think it's great when people think about stuff like this, far too few do that. I'm really happy to be able to go out and buy some makeup, and be sure that no poor animal has to suffer for it. Love how you stick to your principles!

  • wow thanks for this vid hun, looks like some of my make up is going into the bin!:( shame on the OMG pile products!

  • I totally agree that it's terrible to have products tested in animals -- it amounts to torture (products sprayed in their eyes, etc.)

BUT I think there's also a whole 'nother issue -- animal ingredients, which hopefully don't involve animal torture but rather "humane slaughter" ... but still, yuck! Who really wants animal parts & fluids in their makeup? Esp when there are alternatives? I think "cruelty free" still only means no animal testing, not no animal ingredients.

    Love your videos!

  • i totally agree x

  • hmmmm my mascara is rimmel :(

  • daaaaamn. My foundation, pressed powder AND highlighter eyeshadow are all by revlon. damn damn damn :(

  • revlon doesnt test on animals anymore!! :)

  • you are so right i have over 200 lip glosses and i have no idea if they have been tested on animals its so cruel i will try my best to find out if i can i will try some websites i have a chocolatte lab and hes only 12 months old i feel sorry for all the animals but rimmel and maybelline is my fav makes of makeup i am gonna try hard not to use them anyway thanks for the vid i subbed and 5 star yay you

  • you are amazing, i never use my rimmel stuff anymore - i have two of their lipglosses and they are CRAP anyway!!! not impressed!!! i love no7 from boots so i was so relieved when i found out they dont test. thank you. i subscribed because i feel strongly about animal testing too and a lot of people don't give a -----. i do, love ya, xxx

  • I used to be a huge aminal rights activist and would buy things according to animal friendly guidelines. Anything by proctor and gamble tests on animals like covergirl and pantene. If you really wanna stick to certain brands you can get peta to send you a booklet of safe and terrible brands.....i personally hate peta (used to have them tattooed on me but not anymore, they are too extreme and ridiculous even though their heart is in the right place, they are crazy)

  • i was wrong about no 7 a boots written statement says that they don't test on animals so thats good news, also beauty without cruelty is a good company too, i use some of there products nice range.

  • thanks for this review!!am suprised the big name brands are doing this!

ur cat is adorable by the way!

  • You can probably check with Peta online and see if they have a list of cosmetic companies that don't test on animals. I think The Body Shop doesn't test on animals but I am not positive on that.

  • Loreal owns the body shop... Although the body shop doesn't test, L'oreal does-- a lot... and supporting the body shop gives loreal profits....

no company wants to advertise that they test on animals... and they try to work around it by saying that the "finished" product is not tested on animals. :(

  • oops i just saw your Revlon update :) thanks

  • Hi! I'm also trying to only purchase products that do not test on animals. I am relatively certain that Revlon does not test on animals, Revlon owns Almay, and Almay doesn't test either. I hope I'm not wrong because I have been buying Revlon. Please let me know :(

  • Hi, after seeing your video I wanted to clear some things out: even if a company says they don't test on animals, it doesn't mean they are completely saying the truth; they might not test the final product, but they test the ingredients, or they buy products/ingredients from other companies that do test on animals-which means they actually "do not do it themselves".

  • No 7 test on animals so they are evil too and so do maxfactor.

  • ok, so i get your point, and i'm going to try my best not to get make-up thats tested on animals but if you already bought it then what's the point of throwing it away?? Just use it up and then never buy that brand again.. Oh i love your accent, and i though 'Naughty box' of makeup was funny,

  • Omg- I'm going to use up the make-up from these companies and then never buy from them until they stop!

  • totally agree, it's primitive and if we stopped buying those brands, they will stop animal testing immediately.

  • Oh no--Maybelline and Lancome test on animals... I should switch to Almay & Estee Lauder.

  • So good of you! I think I'm going to do this also.

    x

  • Good decision! I agree.

  • ohhhh phew i have sooo much No7 and 17 make up stuff like its unbeleivable i wouldve been heartbroken if it wasnt cruelty free

  • I am SO happy I'm not the only one out there who thinks it's RIDICULOUS to put animals through endless suffering just to have a larger selection of stuff to make us look prettier.

People who know about animal testing on cosmetics and ignore should be extremely ashamed. So unneccessary.

I applaud anyone who is human enough to step up to the plate! :)

  • if you go online to PETA you can get A full updated list of companies that do and dont test on animals iv got mine printed out and laminated animal torture is so horrible dont buy from test companies!!!!!!!!

  • It's so weird because where they sell make-up near I live have sales on Loreal and Maybelline and not Nivea, Bare MInerals, The Body Shop, and so on. In other words cruelty-free make-up.

Only sales on Bad Loreal and Maybelline.

  • gosh do not test on animalt, its says so on they website

  • Revlon does not test on animals, and if fact they were one of the first drug store companies who stopped.

  • i think its great that you are using products that dont test on animals :D

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I bought the 120 palette, I never would have if I had known they weren't cruelty-free. ;____;

  • I buy from Urban Decay, they are VERY against testing on animals. On the back off all of their products is a qoute that says "We do not test on animals. How could anyone?"

  • i am soooooo glad that your doing this and im going to go through all my makeup and do tha same. and i just recently found out that revlon does NOT test on animals which i was relieved about! and the thing that shocked me was when i found out that nars DOES test on animals :(

i am a real animal lover and this makes me sooo sad so i throwing away all my makeup that has been tested on animals!! oh and i love your videos

  • you're awesome <3

  • BRAVO Jasmine...oh I wish everybody had that in mind too, so many people don't even think about testings on animals and it is soooo inhuman, Thank you very much for this video my sister, again you are showing your qualities, and my sister, you are beautiful outside and inside, God created you well

    sweet Jasmine xoxo

    ^B^

  • i admire ur courage. not many ppl care about animal testing but they havent seen the side effects. go to google images and put in 'animal testing' and u'll see some horryfying pictures. truly

  • "cruelty free"? when I just read this.. I was like... HELL YES. lol seriously, not many people care about this. I'm glad you do and that you share this opinion on animal testing.

    You're great!

  • You are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Collection 2000 do not test on animals. I contacted them directly and they informed me of this.

  • I Am soo glad they dont they have quality products for a amazing price :D

  • I so agree with you about animal testing and your cat Harvey is gorgous and looks just like my boy Buddy.Buddy is a maine coon mix and the same coloring as Harvey. The thought of anyone harming a sweet animal makes my skin crawl.

  • This has been helpful. I'm glad you did this :) Harvey is so pretty!

  • Cover girl does test on animals I'm pretty sure

  • Yes they do. Mmm They have 80% of their stuff not test on animals but still it's not a 100%

  • its ashame i just got a really pretty rimmel lipstick and now i cant use it

  • revlon doesnt test on animals

  • Harvey is positively adorable! I think it's wonderful that you are raising awareness about cosmetic testing on animals. I have two kitties, one names Snuggles, a boy ,and the other Amber, she's my girly girl, likes to watch me put on makeup. They are both fixed.

  • hi, how long before make-up expired?

  • thanks so much for this, I totally agree that animals should not be made to endure anything whatsoever for our vanity!!

Harvey looks soooo much like my cat, wow! "harvey's tail is one the way..." lol

yeah they just luuuve attention :p

  • you're amazing :)

i look up to people like you :D

thank you, testing on animals is just HORRIBLE .

  • Nivea doesn't test on animals and it's natural.and allergy tested.

  • Comment removed

  • i admire what u do but i dont think i could ever do that

  • Go Cruelty-Free makeup! Getting a cruelty-free haul (makeup) pretty soon.

Like the others said Revlon is okay, doesn't test on animals :)

And yeah it is a shame that Rimmel tests on animals

  • jasmine~ this is great..I am glad that my small collection is following this philosophy. I just got my hands on my first Barry M and happy to know that they don't test. thanks to the lovely Lizzclare for the barry m. : )

  • revlon doesnt test on animals
