The title character was renamed Salina because this 1967 film is only VERY loosely based on the story of Queen Boudica (or Boudicca, or Boadicea). In fact, "The Viking Queen" is a mishmosh of historical inaccuracies: It has a romance between the queen and a Roman governor, British Druids worshipping the Greek god Zeus, and not a Viking in sight!
The picture starred no-last-named Carita, a Finnish model and hairdresser, in her only screen appearance. Lousy actress, but what a babe!
i just saw the trailer, and its sure a odd thing why they didnt used the name Boudicea.

Hmmm i am still looking for vikings and i thoughts vikings used long boats? And i thoughts chariots were more of a roman thingy?
Anyway she had a nice natural look ;OH speaking of looks what's up with the (virgin scarafice) ?

Apparently part of the "chariot race" scene was inspired by the similar scene in "Ben Hur" (1959) which was much more exciting.
