How Well is Barack Obama doing as President?

For those of you who says he is doing a good job, think again and please do your research and not look at what you think you know by some biased professor. I am also in college right now working on my BS in computer science with a concentration in Information Security Systems. Most of my professors are liberal with a liberal agenda, but I have my own mind and think what I will. I have moral integrity that it will not be clouded by a feelings based society. You obama supporters have been duped.

It does not take 2 years to fix a problem. He spent 787 billion dollars on a stimulus package but at what expensive?? He gave us a trillion dollar health care reform bill that will "dictate" our lives and mandate us to have health care insurance by which we simply cannot afford due to the economy for all you economists out there. Oh, and to make matters worse, to those who do not have health insurance, it will be a 1000 dollar fine and 25 dollars a day for every day you do not have insurance

Pres Obama is doing a GREAT job at trying to fix problems that were started under Reagan and greatly exacerberrated under Bu$h II

He needs more time and more faith from his supporters for his programs

I am getting tired of all the uneducated opinions about the president doing a bad job "fixing" the economy. I have studied economics and let me tell you all this; no one can control the economy, it controls itself. During the Great Depression, FDR was able to do something, but not fix the economy. What fixed it? WWII. What will fix the economy now? No one knows. If you think you know, you really don't. You'd have to know every aspect of the economy and that is impossible.

@Rockfaerii - When there is nothing left to borrow, the only thing left to do is to pay it all back. Sorry everybody, this president has NOT done a good job. He failed you on that little glimmer of "hope" and "change" you all were so easily persuaded on. We gave him 2 years and first impressions are often the most crucial. You will give me numbers and say that he created 100k new jobs but those numbers actually reflect people who are not looking for work because they gave up looking for work.

i am a republican overall he is doing bad on spending and cutting most troops in iraq he is also a big reason of the swine flu going done in mexico caused a lot of people to go down there and caused it. also he is running the country out of money which kids will have to pay

its hard to say at this stage. i'll be checking on this and seeing what people think as time progresses. however as of right now, he's been doing what he can with what he has at his disposal. so A for effort, but a B for execution. these are tough times, so he's guiding a ship that carries some heavy and important cargo.

I am a conservative, so I am inherently biased.

But he is setting the budget up long term to either be big time deficit or big time taxes (so much so that he will have to tax more than the top 5% as he promised).

He promised to be bi partisan, but his administration and his party has been far less bi partisan than the Bush administration.

I am glad he has made long term commitments to winning in Afghanistan, though I think the upward spiral of violence in Iraq was set off due to his rhetoric.

Im a Republican for the most part; I go for the guy and what he wants for our country and how his personality is instead of being a total Democrat or Republican.

So, as of right now, its too hard to tell if he is doing good or not. He's ok but I have a feeling that he will be a wreck later on. Of course, Im jest guessing, the man could end up doing well.
