I got an 01 with the 4.7 bored to a 4.9. ported and polished heads, flowmaster 44 catback exhaust. and high performance torque cams. it dyno'd at 325 to the rear wheels (front diff taken off) u wanna talk about power? i got some ha i got a 4" lift on 33" BFG K/M2 and can still burn rubber
You wanna talk power? 4.7 bored .030 over, h/o forged crank, scat forged rods a hair longer to increase C/R to counter boring, ross boost pistons with sealpro gapless rings, Knolton thunder race prepped heads (biggest exhaust valve possible in stock seats, cnc ported (polish ruins air flow direction) comp cams beehive springs, h/o mopar cams, ati super dampener, 50lb balanced injectors, balanced bottom end, kenne bell supercharger@10psi f&b 72mm throttle body, all that good stuff
@OSkarSS20 Any vehicle will last a long time, if you take care of it. Of course, Jeeps are not built for this kind of abuse, but you can replace the rear end and or bearings and bushings once they wear out.
you won't fit 44" tires with 5" of lift!!! I have 6.5" of lift and barey clear 33's although now have cut out fender flares and can run 35's... nowhere near 44's though......
i have a question. do jeeps like this stock have to run quadra trac all the time or can you ride them 2 wheel or four wheel bc im gunna get one of these in a year or so and lift it about 5" and put some super 44s on
@PeterSportiello pretty much get the 4.0 inline6. Thats the only I have seen so far that has the select trac. Its the best one to get. The V8s(all the ones ive seen) have the quada trac in them
im getting a 2001 grand cherokee limited edition black. . . and im wondering what inch lift u got on urs?? and howd u get it to burn out???? mines al wheel drive all time. .. . 4x4 all time my bad
Its a 4.5" Rusty's offroad kit. Its for sale if youre interested in a good used lift. Mine is the same except in this vid. its missing the front driveshaft so it will spin easily.
is it 4x4 or a 4x2?

@99GrandHero lmao ur a douche just tell the poor guy to hold the brake and gas at the same time lol
slurpy911 1 year ago
You hold the brakes just enough to keep it from rolling forward. The power overwhelms the back brakes and the tires spin.
skitspuce 3 years ago
Break and a lot of gas :)
34kobe192 2 years ago
@mexicanguy90 one foot holds the break and the other you hit the gas. and gotta have some power.

I answered this in the other comments.. No front driveshaft in this vid. But I could be running the 242 T-case so its possible 100% stock as well.
99GrandHero 3 years ago
did you have problems with the front DS when you put it back in? because I sure as hell did...
