It's so damn weird, I live in the south of sweden as well, and I live near some train tracks just on the outskirts of my town, so when the train drives by it usually sounds the horn to signal that it's approaching the town center. My house is probably 70-100 meters from the train tracks and this is exactly the sound I hear 3-5 times a day. Electro-magnetic vibrations coming from the outer/inner core. It's so damn weird, I live in the south of sweden as well, and I live near some train tracks just on the outskirts of my town, so when the train drives by it usually sounds the horn to signal that it's approaching the town center. My house is probably 70-100 meters from the train tracks and this is exactly the sound I hear 3-5 times a day. But, if you don't live near some tracks, we should probably go all mulder and scully on this shit. (Var i södra sverige bor du om jag får fråga?)

Are you sure that you got no traintracks, not even rarely used ones, near your home? Where i live, the wind can sometimes transport train sounds from pretty far away... but they never get this loud...

its pretty ankward that here in Italy there was no strange sounds when the rest of the world heard on august 2011... I'm pretty sure it's HAARP because their sistem is create to control climate and discovering underground sources of coal and oil. So if you live in a place with those sources, you can hear that strang sound. here in Itali there is no coal or oil underground, so we don't heard any strange sound

I live in southern U.S. I heard a rumbling noise outside, shrugged it off, thought it was a plane (live 30 mins from airforce base) but after a few minutes the sound was still there.
Went outside to investigate, didn't see any planes. Thought to myself, that's odd.
This sound lasted probably 20-30 mins.

Electro-magnetic vibrations coming from the outer/inner core. Currently there is massive upheavel going on beneath our feet within the outer core, this is pulling at the magnetics of the inner core, which in turn is affecting the magnetic poles and causing anomolies like the south atlantic anomoly. I woke up from a wird thundering and wird sounds i have never heard before even though it was thunder it sounded different here i Denmark it was really wird and scary that night/mornig and the sky was purple. Did these sounds seem to come from the sky? In many of the videos, people say it came from the ground. I think some people can't tell which. One guy said the sounds seem to come from everywhere. I hope we find out soon. Not knowing is really upsetting a lot of people.

I heard it today, 09.10.2011 17.30 p.m. when I was with my dog and my friend in our forrest...about 15-20 min! No thunder no jets or air planes! It was horrible! Before the clouds in the sky looks crazy! I don`t now, what that is? I think HAARP! Poor Humans! I don`t take drugs or alkoihol nobody can say where are this noise comes!

Ok ,just came across this by accident on you tube ,i have watched a couple of other vids of strange noises on you tube but i live in Scotland and i was woken early in the morning about a month ago by a large train ,i thought it was a train till i heard this,at the time i was lying in bed thinking ,thats a big train but now im a bit perplxed.i have heard train go through my town for years and this was the loudest ,ihavnt said a word about this untill now.!!!!!!!!!! keep your ears open.

Whatever these noises are(and they are a fascinating phenomenon), they are not being caused by the signals geeks at the HAARP installation or the physics nerds at CERN.
Some of it sounds like tunneling/mining machinery? ...and others like quarry blasting. Crazy.

I have been hearing these strange "ghost trains" for years over Sävedalen where i live, it sounds as if a train is flying by and it can happen in the middle of the night. Nowhere have i seen or heard anything related to what it could be, i have also been seeing and recording UFO´s for a long time where i live. Could this be related to ET motherships passings over our skies cloaked ? Haarp ? It could also be something related to the pole shifts. What do you think uploader ?

HEY GUYS !!! I live in PARIS, this sound is just over the city right now ! It's scary and you can hear it clearly for about 40 minutes. It doesn't move so it's not a plane. But it sounds like a big airplane just over the city !

We have the same sound here in Australia. We have been getting these sounds since 20th of august, 2011. In western sydney. They happen about 2am to 4am. Its like a truck in the sky. I wait for something to land, or drive past, but it never arrives, the sound never stops though. Its giving us all headaches.

in the past their used to be a train, children would play tag their at night and one day a girl tripped on the track and hit her head on a large rock knocking herself out, her friend found her and heard a train, he ran to get her out the way but it was too late the train ran her over. the kid ran for help, later on when the cops arrived on the scene her body was missing, their were no tracies of her, the boy knew for sure he saw her die. now it is said when you hear the train shes out their

I treat all these sounds like UFOs, they are "unidentified" and that is enough until we can determine what they are.
We hear allot of theories, Astronomical; DUMBs being vented; HAARP; Underground Drilling; Infrastructure in Cities (Water pipes early in the morning in one city after a new plant was built); etc...
I might not know what is making the sound, but it sure is interesting!
No point in FEARing anything, that only hurts, not helps. I like the DUNE quote, "Fear is the mind killer!"
