  • Who's wifi service is messing up?

  • The answer is..."The Tire Snake" dot com. IT'S GOOD TO KEEP A SNAKE IN YOUR VEHICLE!

  • If its getting easier to jack it, you can do it straight like Im doing now. If it gets too hard, do it at an angle to get the proper leverage you need.

  • I think I'll practice jacking mine tonight. I'll need a large container to drop my nuts in. Is it a bad idea to jack it too fast? I don't want to prematurely drop my load, especially on my foot.

  • 2:36

  • Alan Stanley AAA

  • Lol like this is you got shit face drunk still your parents car got hem a flat and watch this so you wouldn't get cought.

  • What he's not teaching(and he should) is when the flat tire is a front tire(which is clearly the case in this video), the rear tire on that side goes to the front to replace the flat and the donut replaces the rear tire.

  • "Remember to keep your lug nuts in close hand"

  • @SvenStadt and you should repair your flat tire asap, you cannot use the spare wheel/tire forever because it is not safe,it is not usually used as the normal tires and if you put it in the place of a front wheel in a case of defect or something else it will affect the steering of the car and could cause a serious accident....I hope I've expressed my idea well...btw sorry for my English ,it's not my native language....

  • @SvenStadt I see you are a polite person :) when you have a flat front tire , you take one of the back /rear wheels and you put it in the place of the front flat tire , then you take the spare tire/wheel and you put it in the place of the good back/rear wheel(which you have already put in the front).... yes,it takes some more time to do that, but the spare wheel/tire should never replace the front wheels because it can cause and accident....the spare wheel/tire is only for emergencies

  • OMG two things wrong, you dont lift the frame of the vehicle but the inside body. you also do screw back on with a star pattern from the beginning. a teacher needs to do their research

  • nice video, but I know that you never put the spare tire on the front wheels.....

  • @ivaylo88 lol! then wut r u gonna dfo when one goes flat moron?!

  • @ivaylo88 it depends on the car mr. smart guy

  • Nice WHEEL change. -.-

  • I had to come here, i've had three flats in the past month, it must be a sign that i should learn how to fix my own tire, that and the fact that i waited almost 5 hours to get a 4 minute tire change...

  • @uei08 or just get triple A :)

  • @Chocolatemilkpassion AAA is the reason i had to wait nearly 5 hours to get a 4 minute tire change (and the guy was a jerk), and i only get 4 service calls per year, which is bad when you have that many flats (3) in a one month span of time

  • This vid just completed my journey to manly hood.

  • thanks a lot!

I had no idea how to do this!

  • "you can just do it like this, by doing it straight, instead of having it angled. but if its too tough you can angle it and get the leverage that you'll need"

  • Very informative

  • So true, trying to remove screws from wheel after it has been jacked up is a major pain. I just went through that. sigh...

  • first you jack, then you jack some more, then after the tire is firm...you mastaurbate

  • @bigjoshie11 hahaha

  • this is a man skill

  • One more thing to consider is if you have some extra time it is better to put the spare wheel on the back of the car and put the good back wheel on the front.

  • Jacking can take a while

  • This guy must've done the voice of Kermit the Frog!

  • "If it's a little stubborn..Position yourself over, using your knee, or your foot, you can gain leverage. NOW were ready to jack it up."

  • "going down is alot easier than going up. if it seems to be going down easy, you can just do it like this, by doing it straight, instead of having it angled. But if it's too tough, you can angle it, and get the leverage that you'll need to lower the jack. Or raise the jack." lmao

  • "...remember to keep your lug-nuts in close hand, you don't want them rolling away in the grass cos they'll be hard to find..." ROFL

  • thats one jacked up car

  • Is it really necessary to put a rock behind the opposite tire?

  • @mayamayouidiot Yes. Can be a rock or anything bulky. But it should be done just in case the jack fails. It's a safety precaution.

  • i know know i would have gotten a top comment, that so would have made my day better...not

  • Leftie loosey Rightey Tighty.

  • Undersized spare on the front... (cringe)

  • i was watching Beavis & Butthead, and these tried to get them to change a tire they had no idea what they were doing, and i was thinking i would prob be as lost as them and that's what brought me to this video

  • Thankyou Allan ;)

  • This video must me made for an audience that isn't allowed to drive...

And I am also shocked about the number of 'how to change a tyre' videos in the suggestion list, are Americans really that stupid?

  • you think we are stupid yet you can't spell BE right lmao go to hell lol

  • Before I scrolled down I was certain that the top rated comment would be about "jacking" ......fucking youtube.

  • If I'm about to loose a tire up, should I use the same star pattern?

  • too... many... thats what she said jokes... must... insult!

  • thanks a lot! that video helps us change our car flat tire today! Good job

  • What about changing your tyres when they approach their minimum tread depth?

Should this be done at a garage, do these need to be balanced and aligned or is this something the common motorist can do?

  • why does it have to be a star pattern when you tighten the bolts?

i heard him say something about it but it was too quick, like equal something on the bolts :/?

  • @MrSexxxybilly its because you dont want one nut to be very tight and another one to be loose, you want to equalise the torque among all of the nuts. it is to ensure that the tire is well balanced throughout the procedure

  • Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey! Seriously, that's how I remember where to turn screws and stuff...

  • where do i but this kit?

  • Comment removed

  • i would high recommend putting the flat tire under the car just in case the jack slips.

  • Thank you so much! This is exactly what I have been looking for since I bought my first car

  • fuck he says leverage a lot..

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate fake alloys, especially ones that try to make it look real.

  • "Again this will take sometime, But going down is alot easier than going up, if it seams to be going down easy you can just do like, this by doing it straight instead of having angled." haha

  • Remember to keep your lugnuts in close hand, you don't want them to rolling away.

  • Uhhhh ... huh huh .... he said jacking :) lol

  • Thanks.

  • purchasing a floor jack and a cross wrench can make changing a tire fast and easy

  • Does it matter where exactly I put the jack when I try to lift the car?

  • @johshp yes just read your owners manual and it will tell you where to properly and safely jack up the car. hope this helps.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks! It worked!

  • like the rims

  • he didnt do the star pattern taking off the bolts

  • Thanks kermit, i'll be careful not to run over any of your cousins at night

  • great vid, very helpful too

  • jacking can take a while...lol.

  • help my lug nuts is WAY TOO TIGHT!

  • Haha,

    He said lug nuts (:

  • who changes a flat w dress clothes

  • who the fuck puts a signal out on the road

  • jacking may take a while so be paitent and cautious as you jack

  • thanks i needed this now i have to change my flat

  • hey great video. i just saw another video on youtube and she says not to put the spare tire on the front wheels because it can mess up your transmission. is this true? and what do you do if the flat is on the front wheels? i noticed you did your demo on the front left wheel.

  • He sounds just like my uncle

  • "jacking can take awhile," well not if you have the right porno to watch, you'll be shooting all over your screen in no time

  • thanks man now i can change a tire if a nigger slashes it

  • Thanks you! Very helpful!

  • This guy is so white.

  • Jacking can take awhile so be patient and cautious as you jack.

  • get a hydraulic jack they are much better and get a torx wrench with a extra long handle to give you more leverage excellent comber nation

  • Haha not much harder than changing a bike tire

  • koo thanx nw i bout ta go change mine wish me luck

  • Mustn't forget to chock the wheel on the opposite side!

Where did he get that rock from?

This might be a silly question but why is it difficult to pre-loosen the lug nuts when the wheel is jacked up off the ground?

  • @sekwah09 because tthe wheel will be spining when you are trying to force it loose. When the wheel is on the ground, the friction of the tire and the ground will not make the hweel spin when you are trying to loosen the lug nuts

  • Mustn't forget to chock the wheel on the opposite side!

Where did he get that rock from?

  • Jacking can take a while, so be patient while you jack.

  • Yes, back in the old days a spare tire was more than the fat around your middle---it was an actual real life tire that you could put on your car and just go, and every car came with one.

  • It would be nice if all cars came with full size spare tires. I think they used to in the old days.

  • ''Jacking can take a while, so be cautious and patient as you jack'' .

    LOL

  • Sigh.,. I feel fucking pathetic. I just had a flat tire today and didn't have enough strength to loosen the lugnuts. >:/. so mad at myself. Seriously.

  • Awesome video

  • HEY...your tire is obviously not flat to begin with......FAKE ITS FAKE GUYS THIS VIDEO IS FAKE.....guys

  • @AliTobi dude its a instructional video man.

  • @doctorlove323 i was joking....you dont know what sarcasm is ? or you tryna be smart

  • dont put to much force into "jacking" be patient and it will be done in no time also you and angle your jack straight or have and angle for easier jacking

  • "now that the car is jacked up" hahaha

  • good video, thanks!

  • "jacking can take a while, so be patient and cautious as you jack"

  • @Gazorcoopz lol, I was about to post the same thing

  • Great video man. It actually helped me out.

  • jacking takes a long time... thats what he said!

  • great video. I for sure have a to dirty mind for this but I am glad i am not the only one. lol

  • thx

  • "Jacking can take a while so be patient and cautious as you jack". Yeah I know, my girlfriend doesn't knock, its a really mood killer, LOL!!

  • @rubiks15 I was literally JUST gonna make that joke then I scrolled down and saw your comment hahahaha XD. Noiceeee

  • @NateHitpas LOL, Thx! As soon as he brought out the jack my mind was coming up with jokes!

  • I thought you were supposed to tighten the lug nuts in opposites, like when drawing a star.

  • Nice video!

  • lol why dident he use the extra extension in the wrench? makes life so much easier and gives so much more levrage.

  • Good vid

  • Great Video! Great Instructions! Good Explanations! After watching this I can easily change a tire on my own based on this without having to wait for someone else too.

  • at 5:00 if you don't follow that pattern what will happen ?

  • @gennkill The spare might not be on straight. The star pattern ensures it goes on evenly, and straight when you tighten. It's not a huge deal, as you should be going straight to a garage to have your real tire plugged or patched, but it's a good idea to do it.

  • @weggles awesome explanation! very well said.

  • @gennkill Your car will have a 9 in 10 chances of exploding.

  • I don't have a car

    hehehehe

  • @YASSER9210 why the fuck are you watching this then?

  • he sounds a bit like kermit the frog

  • @Myuzaki

    Or Raymond

    LOL

  • @Myuzaki i knew i had heard him before

  • @Myuzaki dude i was justttt gonna put type that.

  • @Myuzaki FUCK YOU! that was the only thing i could think of through the video!

  • Comment removed

  • Great explaining it ! Na i can go an change my own damn tire, & dont hav 2 wait 4 other lazy asses 2 do it!

  • So there is no problem if the spare wheel isn't at wide as the other wheels ?

  • @Sumrong No, but remember the spare is temporary. Get to an autoshop for a new tire asap

  • @Sumrong besides what arshsingh1984 said, there is usually a 50 mph (80 kph) limit on that kind of spare. It should be prominently displayed so you'll know what speed to stick to. Many older cars have spares that are identical to the other wheels, but there will obviously be a different amount of wear on the tyre depending on whether it's been used before. And of course, you'll still need a new tyre unless you want to drive around without a serviceable spare.

  • good explanation !! thank you

  • jacking doesnt take a while for me..

  • Good luck trying to unscrew the nuts off the tyres... now days impossible without the machines...

  • @Yquit4 use you legs and your weight, fatty ;)

  • lol this is for females

  • u didnt apply handbrake? thats y it moves when you try to unscrew the nuts

  • STAR PATTERN!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! I no longer feel like a helpless female around cars. :D

  • very informative ,thanks so much .

  • lefty loosey righty tighty

  • Isn't this...CHANGING A WHEEL ?

  • good video - thanks

  • and sure handy and useful for man : )

  • good for woman : )

  • 1:57 hub cap off..2:00 hub cap on...2:05 hub cap back off WTF?

  • @chris12123212 haha!

  • @chris12123212 haha didnt' notice that!

  • wait I don't understand the whole point putting the hubcap. the rims basically look the same...

  • LOL donut

  • jacking could take a while, so be careful and cautious as you Jack xD

  • The rims look better without the hubcap

  • @TornTech i think they always do. steel wheels & alloys are awesome(just sayin), but 75% of people dont even know the difference between a steel wheel with a hubcap and an alloy.

  • @TornTech i think they always do. steel wheels & alloys are awesome(just sayin), but 75% of people dont even know the difference between a steel wheel with a hubcap and an alloy. someone should post a video of what the difference is! =-D

  • @TornTech It does, for some reason I love black rims on cars, looks so much better.

  • when do you see guys dressed in formal attire changing car tires? excellent explanation though.

  • Awesome demostration. Very informative and useful. Thanks

  • when he took off the hubcap it looks like a sports rim xD

  • Jacking can take awhile so be patient and cautious as you jack

  • Very helpful. Had to change a tire for the first time today, and I only had 20 minutes to get to sociology class and I had an exam. I walked into class about a half hour late, covered in brake dust, and with the spare on my car. But the valve stem on the spare was broken, so once I put the weight of the car on it it went flat. FML.

  • I wonder if the guy in this video watched this and thought to himself; "Man, do I sound stupid". LOL.

  • a little advice, after you take the tire off, lay it next to the jack underneith the car, in that case, if the jack somehow fails, the tire will be there to help break the fall of the front end.

  • Thank you this is very helpful.

  • wait.

    hubcaps are made of plastic?

im also betting that all you haters didnt just magically stumble upon "how to change a flat tire".

  • great vid for retards

  • Hey you are a nice guy - thanks mate! - cheers!

  • this guy is a legend.

    thanks for the vid!

  • Whoa 2:00 the hubcap reappears!
