Wangan Midnight Anime Opening

i Have seen a 240 Z exatcly like this. only it had an RB26 conversion but it still made 650 HP and to support this the whole chassie was re-enforced. it was damn quick. wish they still made wangan midnight episodes :(

I wish this show would get licensed. Funimation did a pretty decent job with their Initial D dub, so my vote would go to them.

I think I like Wangan Midnight more than Initial D. I like highway racing more than Touge.

@MarianoRyu Well, that is your preference. Both forms of racing have their own unique challenges. The cars of the Takahashi brothers, for example, would probably be able to keep up with the Devil Z, but the 86 would probably be left in the dust, even with the 20-valve. Conversely, the Devil Z would probably a nightmare to drive on the downhill, with the Blackbird being the only car from Wangan Midnight that might pose a challenge to the 86 & the Takahashi brothers.

@CaptainSpadaro I'm not really sure if a 260Hp FC and a 350HP FD could keep up with a over 600HP Fairlady. On a highway that is.

But this highway racing sure has its appeal. Weaving through the traffic like that at those speeds must be extremely tough

En fait, la différence entre Initial D et Wangan Midnight est que le premier parle surtout des qualités du conducteur alors que le deuxième montre celles de la voiture.

I can't remember man. I think it was the only time that an R34 raced in this show though, I really wanted to see it since they kept showing 33s before that, so it was pretty good.
