HI Murphy and casey,I've learned a lot of stuff from you guy's over the years.My wife Tina has bought me about every tape&dvd you've made.I play a while,and quit a while,so I can't tell you how handy your lessons have been for me.don't ever quit,i need you guys. It is about time I hear Foggy Mountain Breakdown being played slowly so that I can practice more evenly. I can play the first break of the song, but I play it very sloppy. I can now follow Murphy and learn to play FMB more slowly. Thank you for sharing. The three ladies were having a wonderful time.

Pretty sure Lester was playing an E major chord over the E minor part. Listen to it.

@Bardspics You are correct. Six beats, in fact, of E major. I absolutely love the sound of that!

@caseyhenry
It provides a neat tension. ;)

@Bardspics A lot of us oldtimers prefer the E minor chord.

That is so great! Thank you Casey and Murphy! And Murph, girl, it's pretty clear that playing the banjo has kept you young, you're looking fabulous!

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. I hate to single anybody out, but there is something about your "Martin" that I love. Is it quite old?
