  • Excellent. BTW the brunette playing the mandolin has a pretty smile.

  • It is about time I hear Foggy Mountain Breakdown being played slowly so that I can practice more evenly. I can play the first break of the song, but I play it very sloppy. I can now follow Murphy and learn to play FMB more slowly. Thank you for sharing. The three ladies were having a wonderful time.

  • Pretty sure Lester was playing an E major chord over the E minor part. Listen to it.

  • @Bardspics You are correct. Six beats, in fact, of E major. I absolutely love the sound of that!

  • @caseyhenry

It provides a neat tension. ;)

  • @Bardspics A lot of us oldtimers prefer the E minor chord.

  • very useful! I'm just learning the banjo and this is the right and this is just what I needed.

  • Thanks strings3002! We appreciate your patronage. Have fun jamming!

I learned Banjo with your help along time ago. Back with your cassette tapes , I still have them.

  • Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. I hate to single anybody out, but there is something about your "Martin" that I love. Is it quite old?
