  • Hey???? I'm looking at buying a RTT for my Fj60. Which tent to you have there? It looks like a double wide. What can you tell me about it, who makes it and how much would it cost to ship to the US. Is there a US distributer?

    Thanks Mate....

  • damn u can house a small army in that thing

  • i like its name howling moon. i wonder do the werewolves come out at nite. spooky.

  • ah, the good thing is that werewolves can't climb ladders ;-)

We've actually just sold this tent - pleased to have some cash but sad to see it go :-(

  • where u buy? i want one to put on a f 150 that has a camper shell( not a slide in just the suvish attachment ) when i get my license in 2 years

  • I think we got it through a roof rack supplier but we sold it on eBay so I would recommend trying ebay first to try to find a bargain!

  • I have a Flip-Pac canopy/tent on my 96 Tacoma and can set it up in real time as long as it took to run this video. Literally, 30 seconds and it's done, with lots of room to boot. This is nice also.

  • It cost us about AU $5500, including roof racks and ladder extensions. It sleeps our family of 4 just fine - most of your gear can stay in the car but there's room for basics up there. It has a mattress base all the way across so all you need is your sleeping bag.

If it starts to get a bit toasty in the sun you can open up lots of windows to let a cross breeze through. Because you're up high it works really well and you also get a nice view and stay away from crocs, insects etc!

  • crocs? i thought that was an Australian stereotype

  • no way!

a five year old boy was taken by a croc in Queensland in February, not all that far from where my hubby and I went camping about 15 years ago. Sure is comforting to be up high!! There are also a LOT of deadly spiders and snakes in Australia. Also, possums broke into our friends' tent last time we went camping and stole their bread, but I doubt they would be good at climbing aluminium ladders!

  • wow

  • This is awesome, how much does this cost?
