  • That looks way too rich, my dogs would probably get the shits from all of that. Isn't the egg shell dangerous because it has little sharp bits?

  • I can't understand him

  • @GlindaTheGoodWitch1 I can't either but that's because he was speaking German. :P

  • for anyone whatching this video now( i know it's a few years old)

the point of a raw food diet is keeping it natural, meat, bones and liver..thats it. generally it should be 80% meats, 10% bones and 10% organ(liver, kidneys). no additives needed, dogs can't digest fruits unless mashed well, and cannot digest vegetables well unless cellulose is broken down.

if your going for a raw dietm keep, keep it simple. meat, bones, and organs.

  • @DansBallPythons Dogs can't digest fruit and vegetables and neither can humans. (AKA fiber)

  • @DansBallPythons 70 % meat, 20 % bone and 10 % offal/organs.

  • It looks great! I just wish it was in English

  • If you wouldnt eat it, dont feed it to your dog lol. i want to the prey model diet with my shih tzu im getting soon.

  • Why the title in English? Is misleading...

  • i make porridge for me and my dogs in winter they love it

  • i believe the wolf shook the contents of the preys stomach, until it was empty, then consumed it.

  • even carnivores need some pureed veggies. they eat stomach contents of prey if they are small. like rabbit or bird so small amount is ok.

  • sieht verdammt teuer aus

  • Prey-model diet is better. Fruits, veggies, and supplements are 100% unnecessary. And dogs would rather eat their food whole, not ground up. It's better for cleaning their teeth and it provides mental stimulation.

  • @misterniko171 Ground up is good for dogs with dental problems or no teeth. My dogs are on barf. They only get a tablespoon or two of veggies once or twice a week. We did prey model at first, but had problems with constipation. Adding a little bit of pureed veggies did the trick.

  • that looks great. Just curious as to how much oats you use?

  • Just enough to get it creamy

  • can u make this agian in english?

  • ok so i dint now much wen i posted this coment. but iv bin sudying wolf behaviour. ovisouly you havnt don much research. when wolves get a kill the rip the stomch out rip it open and shake all the content out ofcourse their is some matter still in there so if you want to feed yur dog a very small portion fine. but the other thing is onley serten wolves get to eat the stomch according to the rank. wolves are born in serten ranks and eat serten parts of the kill for serten nutrients and sent.

  • why do you suggest potato or rice? they are pretty much just fillers, dogs wouldnt eat them in the wild (at least i dont think), and its not following the barf diet? i feed my dog bella a frozen dog food thats based on the barf diet, its called k9 natural, and they use real meat, seasonal vedges with a bit of garlic and cod liver oil (i think). the difference in my dog is amazing, i also give her raw bones and chicken necks and green tripe which she gobbles up!

  • @manthy89 my grandmother had 2 giant great danes that lived until they were about 15, she kept them as guard dogs, she would feed them sweet potatoes cooked and mashed up, because her neighbor was a farm owner- they wouldnt eat anything else except some leftovers on a rare occasion

  • That looks tasty, I would like to try to make some at home and eat a little bit of it for myself and then feed the rest to my cats.

  • YUM is that peanut butter?

I never thought about adding peanut butter before and my guys love it.

I feed raw diet as well, and my dogs are love it. It is very easy :)

  • Barf is very healthy, but he eat too fast,,, little relax next time.

  • how about potato is it ok to add?

  • Potato, rice or Spaghetti are perfect

  • @jairus1230 No, potato rice and spaghetti is BAD BAD BAD! Wheat is extremely unhealthy and potato is dangerous to dogs!

  • @jairus1230 Sweet potatoes (yams) are better for them than plain white potatoes.

  • oh lol sorry I thought I heard you say chocolate in the video, got concerned about it thanks for the response jupvan

  • can i ask why are you giving your dog veggies. i know that people say they should have veggies. but seriously they dont eat that in the wild so why should demestic dogs eat it?

  • Oh please. The first thing a wolf eats is the inside of the stomach of theirs prey

( i hope that was the right english). They also eat herbs and grass in the wild. Please inform your selfe before you post a comment.

  • look do people give their snakes veggies becuase they eat the animals stomach too. dogs are carnivores not omnivores. and I have done a lot of reaserch. when a wolf eats grass it is because they have a upset stomach and grass calms it.

  • We sure do give our snakes veggies. Because we feed WHOLE prey which means they are getting full stomachs with the meal. That's pretty hard to duplicate with dogs in a cost effective way.

  • What food do you have at the very bottom of the food processor? I couldn't tell if it was chicken pieces of pieces of melon.

  • @kegancolbert Actually, they do eat greens in the wild. Not much, but they do. Most wild animals will eat grass, plants, etc from time to time.

  • @kegancolbert lol your right and not only that but the last time i saw a dog in the wild it was a stray, and when it went to a shelter guess what they feed him cheap dog food that causes all sort of illnesses, dogs that eat raw are healthier dogs, in the olden days people didnt have money to be feeding or making kibble but dogs had less percentage of diseases found today so DONT TALK!

  • omg, level orange, that's great, i laughed my ass off, which by the way my dog did not eat, he was searching the fridge for my dannon light. you put that in such the right spot, GREAT JOB!

  • Why is he adding chocolate? thats poison to dogs, seriously dont make a barf diet if you dont read up first on whats best, you could be doing more harm that good, keep your pets healty on this diet just dont add random things in it without knowing if its good for your pet to consume.

  • Chocolate where ? This was algae. But you are right : "seriously dont make a barf diet if you dont read up first on whats best"

  • Dogs DO eat vegetables in the wild. When they kill their prey (rabbits etc.) they eat the stomach contents. Not a lot of vegetables but certainly some. Look at any high quality dog food now days and you will see vegetables included.

  • Dogs do NOT eat veggies in the wild... they spill drag the stomach on the ground and spill the contents. Dogs don't produce the enzymes needed to digest vegetables matter, so it goes in one end and out the other.

  • What a waste of time and effort!! Dogs are carnivores - just look at their teeth and jaws - they dont' need ground food, pureed vegetables and a trillion supplements. They need RAW meat, bones and offal.

  • Ok Doctor Dolittle ; )

  • i agrew with you. I've never seen a wild dog or a wolf eat a banana, rice or grains..

  • OH yea dogs always natural eat carrots and bananas. When they are starving. But in the defense of this dogs are omnivorous. At least he's not killing anything. 9 out of 10 for that alone

  • I want to be your dog.

    Ich wil deinen hund sein.

    I'll need 2 kg's per day...

  • heh mu dogs eats fruits and vegetables all the time too! we all love our dogs don't we??!

  • Ich denke, daß es zu viele Ergänzungen gibt

  • I make the meals of my dogs myself to.

I'm sorry but your dogs aren't rabbits. All those supplements and vegetables are complete superfluous and your dogs don't need them at all. What your dog need: raw meaty bones! I don't see them in this movie?

  • Sorry, but you don't know what you're talking about. In the wild, canides DO eat fruits and vegetables. Educate yourself before commenting next time.

  • They don't. You should read the book of david mech.

  • then you must mean the wild homeless dogs out in the streets of the big cities that will eat nearly anything to survive.

  • awesome dude.... I usually put fish into my veggie mix as well so they get their weekly does of fish.

  • i thought u were going to eat it

  • lol

  • Thats gross...
