The pits aren't really that brutal. Nothing that gets big because most people are there to see the show but there's the usual moshers in there that tear shit up. You'll enjoy it.

Small's voice is actually better live than it is on the show imo. As for the guitar issue, whatever it was, was fixed after the first song and they immediately stopped sucking once they solved that issue so I wouldn't too worried about it.
