  • Was this supposed to be a funny cartoon? o.0

    I didn't get it.

  • This is a disgrace.

  • high five, nazies!

  • what a demented cartoon

  • Wow Vichy sucks at propaganda

  • what language is that?

  • @stevenrf69 French

  • cool, thanx

  • @stevenrf69 No problem :)

  • This video is so evil and makes me sad all the way to the bone. Even more sad is the fact that 90% of the viewers have no clue what this is about. This is a cartoon aimed at occupied France made by the nazis. The man posing as "London" is demonized as a Jew, because Jews control the media according to nazis and spreading misinformation about UK/USA coming to "liberate" them. The american cartoon characters are bombing the French, symbolizing that its no liberation but a Jewish plot.. nazi view.

  • @JossyHadash See people? This guy knows his shit. Thumbs up his comment now!

  • @JossyHadash Did you notice how the "death angel" at the end resembles the skeletons and corpses that the Nazi's created? Nazi propaganda often blames the other side for doing doing what the Nazi's were doing in fact. They did the same thing with regard to propaganda in the East with the Russians. The Nazi's said the Russians were sending killing squads behind their front line troops massacring villages. Only the Nazi's did that on a large scale.

  • @xXVALUEXx what if its aimed at the people living in occupied france?

  • @xXVALUEXx Produced by the Vichy regime of France, presumably. France was technically an independent nation, despite the German occupation, and was forced to collaborate.

  • The Nazi's actually created a "swing band" and beamed radio propaganda at England and the US. Many English people said they could hear the broadcast every Wednesday night. If you want to hear an example song, check out "German Propaganda Swing: Charlie & His Orch.: MAKIN' WHOOPEE" here on YouTube.

  • is it true that they have better spinach in France?

  • Sorry, but I'm a bit slow. I don't get the plot line at all.

  • @AresCassell The idea is that Americans airmen that are bombing France, symbolized by the cartoon characters, don't care or even hate French people, the British radio broadcasters are Jews or controlled by Jews and are deceiving the listeners, and that ordinary Frenchmen that have hopes about the Allies are very naive and would eventually be killed by their "saviors".

  • @TheBigBluePixel OK. Thanks.

  • COPYRIGHTS... all I can think about... copyrights...

  • @xXVALUEXx it might be a Vichy Cartoon.

  • @CartoonsShowsMovies The subtitles are correct. This was presumably propaganda produced for the occupied French.

  • rip off of disney

  • lol popeye the bomber man

  • fuck fascism.

  • great vid

  • Wenn das Ding aus Deutschland kommt warum ist es dann auf English

  • I like how they used US propaganda characters: Popeye, Donald Duck, & Mickey Mouse XD

  • @xXVALUEXx Itis OBVIOUSLY rightwing agitprop, if not Nazi (for us in France) then it was made under the traitrous rightwing Viche regime, alos as agitprop. And, it uses american cartoon characters both because these were globaly popular (try cracking open some history books sometime) adn as a way to slam "degenerate" american culture and to convince the French thatthe Allies were they enemies. So, educate yourself, or at least keep your obvious ignorant opinions to yourself.

  • That was their best shot--ripping off Mickey Mouse and Popeye? No wonder they lost the damn war.

  • Scary stuff, but that Grip Reaper is pretty goofy.

  • ...Why would the Nazis care about P_Ing off King Features and Disney by using American-copyrighted characters ?

They were fighting against us !!!!!

    ( Perhaps this pre-dates Pearl Harbor , I don't know . )

  • Seems pretty obvious its a NAZI propaganda cartoon made for the occupied french to see USA as the enemy.

  • Vichy France was control by Nazi, most likely the reason it is in French, since that was were the Allies would have landed.

  • the depiction of the guy from london as a distorted jew pretty clearly shows this i nazi agitprop

  • its obvi in french...but the message seems to be nazi propaganda warning french citizens celebrating the allied invasion (i.e: you will be killed by their bombs)

  • Either the Germans have no humor and don't speak German, or this is French.

  • WTF?

  • Nazis: "Jews control the media."

Today's anti-Israelis: "Zionists control the media." But don't worry--they're not antisemitic, right?

  • the british back then look like goofy? 0:30

  • why would vichy france make a cartoon about themselves being bombed?

  • @xXVALUEXx well, they are speaking german. and american cartoons are popular elsewhere.

  • @Nathdogwoof it´s french. this cartoon was from vichy france

  • Evil Jews are screwing up the World for their own selfish greed. Hitler was right about them.

  • Fail

  • I could be Wrong, but I thing that this may be true, because after the invasion on France, the german army may thought that the this was a great way to get the aprobation of their new "alies", putting them agaist UK, I guess that they are speaking French, because this cartoon is made to the french people, but of course, I could be Wrong at this suposition

  • Also ich hätte mir damals als Kind in die Hose gemacht!!!

  • @xXVALUEXx First, they are speaking Greman; someone just added English subtitles. Second, those American cartoon charactors you reffered to are widely recognized around the world as 'good,' and their support of/participation in the Nazi campaign- depicted in this cartoon- would help to instill the idea in German youth that what the Nazi party was doing was not 'bad.' This is an excellent piece of WWII era propaganda and deserves some respect. Have the right facts next time you call someone out.

  • @gmlNerd no it´s not german. i´m german and i don´t understand anything. i´ve read that this film was made in vichy france for the france people against america. the only thing i understand is "USA people" and the rest sounds like some kind of france or phantasylanguage.

  • @gmlNerd :The cartoon is in French. It was a French Vichy propaganda cartoon (Nazi sanctioned of course) that portrayed the Americans as famous American cartoon icons. The radio announcer is protrayed as being Jewish and broadcasting to all French that (in essence) the Americans are coming to free you. Of course it clearly shows the 'Americans' killing those French hoping to be liberated by them.

  • that was not funny

  • @xXVALUEXx It was a propaganda cartoon made by the Nazis and aimed at the French population who where waiting to be rescued by the Americans... They were trying to bend the French's opinion in their favor and accept German domination by telling them Americans were their enemy, not their friends... Get it?

  • @Unicron4ever yes i just didn´t find it because it was made in vichy france and not germany. sorry.

  • terrible and terrificant as the nazy regime! hitler and friends and camaraden are very shit!

  • Impressively weird. I wonder, though, how effective it was in persuading the French people to support the Nazi conquerors....

  • Somehow, the allied bombing campaign wasn't that far off from what the cartoon states.

  • o_o

  • It's on a movie called EYE of VICHY by Claude Chabrol Produced by First Run Features

  • the death angel at the end gives me nightmare

  • Shit! That was scary.

  • Wow... Nazi cartoons were kinda lame... at least the U.S. propoganda cartoons were funny.

  • @LordofDragns :I'm a german. They don't speak german in here, they really don't. Probably French I guess, not sure. And yeah... nazis wouldn't have used American characters

  • @LordofDragns germans aren't funny? wow when was this in the newspaper? :)

  • I guess the terms of the May 45' treaty called for the 3rd Reich to pay One Hundred Trillion Dollars to Disney, WB, and MGM for Copyright infringement.

  • Cartoon was made in 1940s, not 30s

  • @MoeGreensRightEye Corrected now, thanks.

  • Very interesting to watch, thanks for sharing. cheers from Canada

  • I love how they use Americas propaganda characters

  • I've never thought of how the german portrayed us (U.S.A.), but using our popular cartoon characters was an interesting twist. Although I don't agree with Hitler, thank you for providing this new perspective!!

  • that was awesome, haha

  • Dude this is one of the most dark epic cartoon i ever seen

    o.O

  • Was this really produced by the Third Reich? It could also be the french Vichy-Regime

  • @EnemyOfTheSystem

vichy regime was controlled by the nazis so its actually the same.

  • @Vietcong01 Of course, but many people forget about the french nationalists, wo collaborated with the nazis and even french members of the Waffen-SS. 200.000 of 900.000 Waffen-SS Soldiers were not german, they were albanian, dutch, polish, french, russian, cossacs, even muslim people served in the SS. 310.000 of the rest were "Volksdeutsche", it means that their families were form german origin hundreds of years ago. They couldn't even speak german anymore. I call this forgotten history.

  • Where on earth did you find that ? Very nice . The death angel in the end was pretty cold .

  • @duanesmith1488

Can't remember where I originally found this to be honest. But yes, I love the death angel at the end haha.
