I think Hole and Nirvana sounded a ton alike before they even met. They're both from the Seattle area and living here I can understand the similarities. Courtney was just as famous as Kurt, if not more, when they met. He liked working with Hole and Courtney better than Nirvana, which he admitted towards the end, so of course they helped eachother, they loved eachother.

This is one of my favourite songs and I love Courtney, but this just didn't work for me...I believe you have to have a low voice in order to nail this song, and her voice is still so raw..Odetta and Jim Morrison do much better covers...

For some reason so many Kurt fans believe that he was some child-like idiot that was roped into marrying Courtney. One the one hand, they worship him, or the other hand, the believe on some level, that he's a brainless twit who simply couldn't find his rocket scientist or university professor. Love Kurt too, but he was entranced by Courtney. Listening to her and seeing her perform one can certainly see why.
