  • 1 nobhead disliked, probably a cod player

  • Whoever disliked is a massive tool....

  • ouh ouh ouh uh you're dead...

  • 1 person could never figure out the pattern in the spinning room.

  • if we act, as if we never saw, the shitty box art. I believe that this game is awesome. It got all the ingredients to become a classic... well, it has became, a classic.

    You've gotta.. Whip it

    You've gotta.. Whip it

You've gotta.. Whip it, whip it good !!

  • @nahum67 Box art is awesome. You're just frigon blind.

  • @GoodStageProduction0 *Friggin'

Well, at least you used the correct form of You're.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo >_> Ok, sure. I'll go with that. But the American box art was cool; i dunno about the European and Japanese, however.

  • @nahum67 Your poor grammar has caused my brain to implode.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo your poor sense of beauty on a drawing, made mine explode. how about that?

  • @nahum67 who ever said I had poor sense of beauty on drawing!? I like the box art! don't assume things dumbass.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo Look, take your opinion and.... do what you want with it, i don't care.

Oh, by the way, don't assume that i like the box art sucker.

  • Thumbs up for this OST.

  • The definitive Mode7 stage in any game ever.

  • @NeverwaY I was actually playing this game the other day and my roommate who is a "cod" type graphics boy gamer was watching and even he was impressed by the visuals on this stage. I think cv4s graphics have aged well.

  • @stides40 I completely agree, this game will always look amazing no matter how advanced the graphics in games get. Plus.. it has actual good gameplay.. not something that you find in a lot of more modern games. Thats why i emulate.. i havnt seen anything new that looks interesting.. except Alice 2, which was awesome.

  • this game is art from start to finish

  • whoever composed the music for this game is a genius!

  • or 6/8 maybe

  • @goldenmoleful You mean 6/4 time.

3/4 and 6/8 times are the same.

Anyways, I think the entire song is in 3/4 and it kind of surprises me that it surprises someone else. :\

  • hard to believe the whole song is in 3/4

  • sick bass sound and part

  • One person was crushed between the quick rising floor and the ceiling spikes.

  • what does everyone have against SotN?

SotN and IV are equal IMO

  • *throws up* Good grief, now I know what those kids felt like when they saw Electric Soldier Porygon

    *faints and twitches*

  • Alucard Fanboy: " Thiz Game Iz LAmE! I like SotN THA Best cuz it hOz......what.....ohhh.......

    *room starts to move*

OOHHHH! OH SHIT ! MOOOOOM! MOOOM MY ROOM IS SPINNING! MOOOM HELP ME! *Imagine the fanboy crying with the room spinning and playing this song xD fucking hilarious*

  • I LIVE for this beat. It always reminds me of a female assassin during a showdown. One of my favorite levels.

  • The visual effects were amazing for its time. To see that now and understand what that means makes them amazing to this day.

  • 1 person was ambushed by a ceiling skeleton and fell to their death.

  • @becongeneral lol.

  • People need to STFU about Twilight fans disliking Castlevania videos. I mean seriously? Their heads would explode the second the video started. They wouldn't have time to dislike it.

  • This game and the music was way ahead of it's time.. Very impressive for something released in 1991!

    I love the breakdown at 0:40 ...

  • who the fuck disliked this?!

  • @epicfailguy2 Edward from gaylight did. Fuck next of those movies he & Justin Bieber fuck. But something as shitty as that can only be found in the dephs of the 666th circle of hell( if there were such thing) or in Halo Reach

  • @epicfailguy2 A twilight fan.

  • @epicfailguy2 Either a Twilight tard or some hater who doesn't appreciate epic music from epic games.

  • This is more catchy!!

  • Comment removed

  • back in the day shows, VIDEO GAMES, ect. where starting off so they pulled out all the stops to make it perfection, NOW they think people will take some crap with just a few characters they love (Well people do apparently) Well I may be 13, but I remember when games where good thanks to my grandma, NES,SNES,N64 (and I liked GameCube too) FTW!!!!!!!

  • this game is simply...perfect, would play it after a whole night of playing at a lan party

  • headbanging song.

  • What a track. Agree with the concensus; this is so much better then sotn. This is the last great Castlevania.

  • Lol, i remember these two levels, first it was that room that would shift in a rotation, you had to latch with the whip to not fall in to the spikes, kill the medusa heads, then once again latch and prepare to exit. The first time i seen these 2 rooms scale as they did, i was yelling "SCROLL BABY SCROLL". I miss those ol' days.

  • SCIV's soundtrack is one of the best OST ever created, be it in the realm of films, games, etc, this is one masterpiece that will be hard to top.

  • This is truly one of the greatest games ever. The music is perfect, the gameplay is perfect, the graphics are excellent even by today's standards, Simon can moonwalk, what more can you ask for? But God, this room made me so disoriented. It felt like my head itself was spinning. Awesome.

  • me agradan esas bandas sonoras (: son de las mejores en aquellos tiempos [:

  • This is probably one of my favorite tracks from the game. The frenetic pace of the music combined with the spinning background and the enemies busting out of the walls to attack led to a VERY dizzying experience. I had a friend who couldn't watch this level, it made her seasick. ^_^

  • when i first arrived to this level i was like

"holy shit ...this is awesome for ness graphics D:"

then i got dizzy and died till game over

    :3

  • I honestly think this is much better than Rotating Room. Just my opinion, tho.

  • @ABoredGameDev

I agree, it's much more adrenaline filled. Fitting fot that rotating room with the floor falling and skeletons jumping on you. Great stage, great game!

  • I remember when I first got this game. All the game magazines hyped it up (Gamepro, EGM etc) and so the day it came out and me and my buddy played it. When we got to this room, it made us dizzy..lol. Because with all the shit going on while the room is rotating and light flashing time to time and...yeah..It 's a definate gem! Konami has always had great music in games

  • The drum beat here could easily pass as a metal drum beat. I've wondered if the composers were closet metalheads...

  • I call this Castle hip hop! lol!

  • this song seems addictive.

  • Not only great music but you could mess with

sound effects at the same time; like adding wolf-

howling or lightning strikes etc., while playing

    the different tunes.

  • Imagine going into this room without the bricks being there. THAT would be painful. o.o

  • @purppanther You can do that with emulators XD It's CRAZY!

  • Cool song, You get the feeling you are close to great danger

  • this theme is so technical...i love it!!!!

  • As AVGN said" I pop this fucker in any day."

  • so there's a spinning AND a rotating room? doesn't that mean the same thing?

  • No.You see....

The Spinning Room you traverse in 2-D while the background coils

The Rotating Room you hang on your whip as the room rotates clockwise and/or counter-clockwise.

  • @jet874 oh, i got castlevania a few weeks ago and made it to these levels, they look so impressive for an SNES game

  • Listen to both songs. "Rotating Room" creates the tense situation of a room that might be slowly turning in on itself. It's methodical in a way and gives you time to think.

"Spinning Room" just spins and spins. It's manic with a demand for a reaction - possibly panic or even madness!

  • Best level in the whole game :)

  • Super Castlevania IV is one of the best side scroller of the hole fuckin' world.

  • SuperSuperSuperSuperSuperSuper

    This is the shit

  • como olvidar que la primera vez ke entre a ese cuarti me maree jajajajajaa

ah ya me dieron ganas de jugarlo otra vez

  • thats it. When you hear this tune, all just spins and rotates +++

    FUCKING MEDUSA'S-HEADS!

  • it sounds diff...is this a remix? naaaah cant be...

  • there were two songs to this level.

  • Ecstaticaly heroic! Incredible track!

  • that,s what i just like about this game,if get tired of playing you || just can listen to the music .

you don,t need to walktrough levels,, using passwords or even using cheats, just go to the option menu and there you go,that,s what ,m missing from dracula x shame on it konami!!!

  • COOL song!!! i love this stage!

  • LOVELY song!!!

  • about time someone got it right. there's 4 or so other videos with this name but they all have the regular Clockwork Mansion music. ugh X__x

great song, though. one of the best in the game

  • muy buena cancion men

  • Nice song:D

  • you know u have lets listen of this right?

  • Sounds like F-Zero sorta.

  • At :20 sec is when i start bobbing my head. lol!

  • Mode 7!

  • Dude Spinning room HAS to go AFTER rotating room; listening to them out of order is so weird, as spinning builds on rotating :( Can you please switch them on the playlist - otherwise, perfect :)

  • wow,

  • The level that has this song is so cool.

  • SC IV the best music

  • Actually I feel SOTN was a great game. However the boss battles were just too easy. This game is one of the best 16 bit console games, and the best music out of any game, period.

  • Symphony of night is good but not good enough compare to this fucking masterpiece it's a very technical achievement for konami in the mid 90's.

  • AGREE BRO A FUCKING MASTER PIECE

  • SC IV blows away SOTN for me at least. This game had amazing music and was just a blast to play. SOTN on the otherhand, for me was a bore, i didn't like the RPG elements, the countless weapons and items, the ho-hum boss battles which felt sloppy alot of the time, the music was pretty good though at time...but really, i prefer oldschool Castlevania compared to Metroidvania gameplay. SOTN is not one of my favorites, that goes to IV, III and 1...i really need to try Rondo of Blood and BloodLines

  • @Meteotrance hell yes!

  • @Meteotrance Nah, Symphony of the Night is much better, and that's saying something.

  • @Meteotrance early 90s actually

  • @Meteotrance I just like em' all :)

  • This track is the work of genius. One of my favorites next to "Bloody Tears".

  • best videogame music EVER!!!! thank you so much

  • oh niiice hahaaa

  • Man, from beginning to END, Super Castlevania IV's soundtrack was great. Every song fit the mood of the level. The techniques and musical notation is way more complicated than what other games were using at the time. It was awesome.

I'd love an orchestrated soundtrack of the game.

  • I don't know the word but I guess this song makes you feel inspired.

  • @transylvania50 The music for this game reminds me almost of early King Crimson. With the lush-yet-jagged instrumentals, and that distinctive European sound. For a video game soundtrack, it's very... progressive.

  • @transylvania50 snes era was great man, just classic.

God i remember these music pieces so much AAH and my favorite 2 pieces the rotating room and treasury and library.

  • @piromaniac9999 Once I get a new phone, Vampire killer all day

  • @sickweirdo i played the new castlevania game on x box called castlevania hd and i didn't much care for its music or its camera angles and way of gameplay.

  • @transylvania50

    as would I......

  • A remake of Castlevania 4 would be sick!!!

  • A remake...of a remake?

  • BEST SONG IN THAT GAME!!

  • The entire track fits the stage perfectly. The beginning fits the rotating part of the level, and then you get to the next one with the moving platforms and the music builds up, it makes this level so intense!!

  • Agreed, especially with regards to part two of the stage. There are SO many ways you can die if you're not careful, and the music is making you press harder when you should be treading carefully instead.

  • as if the stage alone was enough to make u feel dizzy. This damn song made playing that stage impossible for me when i 1st played the the game. The song and stage goes together like peanut butter and jelly. A classic song+stage.

  • Super Castlevania IV is the best Castlevania

  • if anyone want this game for free just send me a message and i will give it to you

  • BEST SONG !!!!!!

  • I like the very first part of the music. It has that soulful touch to it before they get more radical with music.
