puzzle jam lite is practically the exact same thing as a "board" game called rush hour i think... but yeah the only difference is that rush hour has cars not colored blocks

it couldnt hurt. i have one on mine and it makes me feel much more safe about using my ipod. even though the screen is pretty strong and resistant to scratch, i would still recommend getting a screen protector
