it's hard to describe... it's almost like saying a quarter-step up instead of half step (which would be the next note) so you need to tune somewhere in the middle of the two notes.

The tuning is actually standard, but the recording process for some reason made things come out sharper than standard.

Sorry I don't understand. I know that Some Might Say is in Guitar Hero World Tour... the backing track I am using is actually from the Super Audio CD mix of What's the Story Morning Glory, not the backing track from a Guitar Hero game in case you wonder why the mix sounds slightly different.
