  • Johnny was a big contributer to the band. He stuck with the Ramones up and till they retired. So what if he didn't have the best attitude.? He was an amazing guitarist!

  • joey+ motorhead = HELL YES!!!!!

    rip JOEY WE LOVE U!

  • "Let's just say all good things come to an end". So sad but so true! RIP!

  • Charly García dijo? :O

  • I cannot believe that this fucking amazing cute smiling guy is dead.....

Joey, you'll always be in each rocker's heart of the world

  • I have this on DVD minus the noise in the background luv you Joey -3

  • "Have the Rolling Stones killed!"

  • R.I.P Joey, Dee Dee, Johnny

  • He was the fucking best

    we miss you joey

    forever rock'n'roll

    see ya in hell

  • con el polo de motorhead

  • Great Joey Ramone FOR EVER!!!!!!

  • i tihnk that those ''factors'' Jeoy taklked about is his cancer.. oh man, too tough to watch :(

  • I want to go back in time and give him a hug.

That's my fantasy goal: to travel around the world and go back in time to give all the important people in the world a hug.

I wouldn't hug Johnny. Though I might throw a wet paper towel at his head and run away. Dee Dee would be too damn scary to hug. I would instead stand at a safe distance and watch him.

  • Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee and C.Jay are okay! Met C. Jay these days in Berlin. You can hug them all, but not Marky...!

  • I would be too afeared of his what must be tremendous right arm muscles to try and hug him! I would follow Tommy around and beg him to teach me the ways of record producing though! I would still be nervous around Dee Dee though.

  • @existenceisrelative Yeah fuck Johnny. He was a douche. He barely wrote too. It was mostly Dee Dee and Joey. And Joey wrote their best songs!

  • @existenceisrelative LOL Dee Dee is too scary XD

  • @existenceisrelative I will do all I can to find you a time machine and make this happen if you will agree to take me with you.

  • look lordfancypantsdans shit cj and dee dee both did good dnt judge dee dee cuz hes one of the best and hes a legend ok if he were still alive he wuld of think u ass a idk a idiot who cant keep his own little comments 2 himself .....

  • this was the year i was born :P luvv ramones!

  • The Ramones were too worried about what people thought/will think about them.

  • Dee Dee> CJ

  • have everyone seen joey without glasses

    ???

  • I've seen one picture with him, go and check "Joey Ramone tribute" or something like that on YouTube.

  • Hahhaa!!! Great question! I don´t think so.

  • yeh he's in some tribute vid on utube and without glasses he looks strangely like Patti Smith.

  • there is one pic where he's teen and no glasses

  • dee dee quit the band in 1988 and then they found c.j. that started the whole down fall of the great ramones

    Hay Ho Lets Go!!!!!!

  • cj was good for the band he gave them a younger image and he did better than dee dee on live shows they just quit cos they thought bands like the rolling stones were sad playin in their 60s

  • just for others i would like to clarify what i said so no one wound get confused. when Dee Dee left the band was heading down, c.j was a great bass player and i have nothing against him

  • yeah, you have a point there. Johnny said rock and roll artists should retire after they turn their 40's. He probably meant that when u are around 40-50 years old and you have had huge success in your younger years as a rock and roll star, you should retire and enjoy yourself.

  • Ohh...That makes me think about green day splitting up :(

    God I hope not

  • greenday sucks

  • not exactly, they broke up because as said by C.J "we really can keep with the new bands" and they have been touring nonstop.

  • sorry i meant "we really cant keep with the new bands"

  • I agree, I just watched it tonight - Really great job on a really great pioneer band!

    -Joe Penn-

  • one of the best...

  • Joey had the right attitude, which is rare in that sort of business!

    Rest in peace, Joey!

  • Joey and his Motorhead t-shirt! Cool!

  • god, if this doesn't make you want to cure cancer, nuthin will

  • Actually... having it'll want you to cure it too.

  • Joey suffered from chronic health problems his entire life. The fact that he was able to do what he did for 21 years is a testament his strength. I was glad he cut an album before he died though. It was like a final thank you to all of his fans.

  • Thanks for your great comment! I always hoped to see Joey live again (after 1996) in Germany with his solo-album. This wish died in April 2001...!

  • miss you guys...R.I.P.
