i want to know where i can buy the whole seat frame. im gonna buy a 64 but its missing the front seats. i know where to get everything else but that frame is giving me hell.

thanks again for your help its a 70 model getting ready to paint interior dash/jambs etc...then the outside plan on making it my first youtube video. will let you know when i post it. if i run into trouble on the seats ill get with you again.

lift lever like adjusting seat and go foward. only goes so far. do you have to push foward hard?

What year is your bug? If you have a 71 or later there maybe a tab on the tunnel side of the seat that has to be pressed down to release. If it sounds like it hits a wall, then you have that tab. Any earlier car will slide up with some effort. Sometimes the rails are crudy, so you may have to hit them with WD-40.

dude thanks so much for your vids. there is a possibility of gettin a classic bug in my future (im not sure wat year), cuz my aunt has one, and she hasnt used it for like 15 years. so ill have a lot of restoring to do!
