Started around 2008? Besides Obama, what else happened in 2008? hmmmmmm.......could it also be the Heller decision? No doubt Obama certainly scares gun owners, but when the Supreme Court ruled that 2A was a fundamental right, it gave non gun owners a green light to look into it. People are sheep and take their ques from "authorities". When the "authority" says its ok, well you can guess the rest.

More people are buying more guns because they understand the direction this presidency wants to go, and they don't like it.

If it even looks like Obama is going to get reelected, these sales numbers will be nothing.

I PERSONALLY have recruited 10 new firearm owners Just this year, some of them i have even payed for the background checks and fingerprinting costs. Because I like to help people out! This is MY answer up to the Anti gunners out there. I use my personal time AND MONEY to work against them. I also do not buy from companies that i find are anti firearm or fund anti firearm political campaigns....i ditched At&t, and paypal, they can go to hell.

@RamoneTalarico My point is that Obama scares people. He's demonstrated that he has no regard for the constitution and actual disdain for the second amendment. Rather than being caught without people will buy, demand will skyrocket. We could be looking at shortages due to massive sales.

@crispycritterz Oh i agree! I still remember the ammo clean out upon his election. local shops would NOT allow you to buy more than 3 boxes (if they even had it in stock) most of the time...they didnt...they didnt have ANY ammo in stock....
