  • Go on about Jesus' love and inspiration all you bible freaks, when the bible is completely contradictory, invalid, bogus, and from an unreliable source. It supports pillaging, rape, and murder.

Can't believe so many people still think their sky daddy is real.

  • the guy looks like a fruit himself

  • Jesus had prostitutes in his crowd...

  • A rhetorical question: Is this open homosexual also open about repentance from the homosexuality. Gays call it "playing straight," which is actually being dishonest. Instead of "playing," on can be repentant, even if that means not marrying, etc. :) We can try to be likewise merciful + firm with the gossips too. :)

  • @Habakkuk2v20 lmao, to act like you got evidence it is wrong to be gay, or that sin is always evil(it is a sin to wear certain fabrics BTW) then you show how bigoted you are, and have no justification to it. The bible is not evidence, i will ask you, what verifies YOUR god, the bible? Who wrote the bible? oh god right? So god verifies god? Ok i am a multibillion dollar bachelor what is my proof? My book i wrote! it tells you how i am a multibillion dollar bachelor, what verifies my book? Me!

  • I like Rick Warren. We should all try to be more like him. A good man.

  • THIS IS WHY CHURCHES SHOULDN'T BE TAX EXEMPT!

  • Jesus first said repent for the kingdom of God is near. The woman that was caught been unfaithful and was ready to be stone, Jesus told her GO AND SIN NO MORE. So yes is a problem having an open gay person in the congregation, what people need to understand is that you need to repent of your sin first, meaning not to continue in that sin. Jesus did not tell the woman go and continue living in sin, no He said, GO AND SIN NO MORE.

  • @eadys7 "People who believe in a book written two thousand years ago that has no factual basis and implies that a Jew by the name of Jesus was born, vanished for most of his life, and showed back? up at the age of thirty proclaiming that he was the son of god. Not only that, but he was killed and then rose as a zombie and lived for forty more days before he flew to heaven." if that is what you believe, no evidence+impossible claims, totally makes jesus believable lmao.

  • Christians do not want to limit anyone's human rights or personal dignity. On the contrary, Christians want to see our society advance and become fairer and more equal. We are concerned with the well being of our society and more than anything want to see all people come to a perfect understanding of self and freedom from any manner of spiritual bondage by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. who is above everything else in all creation

  • @shieldsff Beautifully said.

  • @shieldsff well we dont want your pity, keep your religion to yourself sir

  • @MrStupidfag - oh, that's not nice

  • @shieldsff "come to a perfect understanding of self and freedom from any manner of spiritual bondage by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ" i can have perfect understanding without jesus FYI, seeing as how hell is the very concept of evil itself(you heard me) and you accepting that someone will go there is just as evil....(you still heard me)=FACT

  • Of course I find your assertion highly debatable & unsupportable. I think any fair and objective examination of life makes clear that huge majorities of mankind live their lives subjected to all manner of oppressions, evils, & injustices. Does the mere fact that you may have accrued some disproportionate but temporal benefits made possible by a materially advancing society ( predicated on Christian values) prove that transcendent reality doesn't exist? No the Creator says U are spiritually dead

  • @shieldsff Show me where a soul is, or WHAT IT DOES! if you cannot answer the second you don't even know what it is lmao...

is it highly debatable that hell is an INFINITE punishment, for which you have only committed crimes/sins/immorality that only has a limited amount of negative value?

  • Since neither you nor I have any direct experience of the after death, I submit we are dependent on the claims of putative authorities.Based on my experience & those of others, I vehemently disagree that spiritual transgressions do not have infinite attributes. U appear naive about life-have you examined your own immoral experiences? Have you read the Bible? Hatred, murder, rape, lying, robbery, exploitations are so evil Jesus warned they lead to everlasting torment, darkness, weeping & distress

  • @shieldsff Except when they constantly put their religious dogma into law. Christians are often among the most hateful people I have ever met. Keep preaching charity from the balconies of your mega-churches, pharisees.

  • sorry, but you've completely lost me with your talk of 'dogma' - what do you mean by that... Do you maybe mean to refer to what politicians regularly engage in, say, when they engage in some overly paid, high profile, media campaign ? Maybe you mean to refer to the milittary or some think tank- . Use seek to apply some kind of unwarranted, pejorative characterization to followers of Jesus; we speak the truth. Yet you must admit you only propagate your own self-centered 'dogma'

  • @shieldsff

dogma: A principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true: "Christian dogma of the Trinity".

I was speaking in plain English something you appear to have difficulty understanding either through lack of education or intelligence.

Nothing I say I believe to be incontrovertibly true therefore propagate no dogma. Neither am I an authority. Communication in English requires an understanding of simple words, I am sorry to see this is a difficulty for you.

  • @SuperBenzid -thanks, uh, I think.... Well,I guess you prove the point. Nothing I stated can be construed as "dogma" as you assert.

  • Comment removed

  • " We should show respect to everyone, regardless of their life style"...What if my lifestyle, is having sex with little children? What if I've discovered, I have an insatiable desire to eat human flesh? Where do we draw the line? There really ARE people who do these things, and think they should have the "right" to.

  • You are supposed to go to church either to repent of your sins or because you already repented of your sin, not just to be accepted as a gay person and continue to live like that.

  • What is wrong with him having an openly gay person in his congregation? Would we wish that all gays stay out of church? Don't we want ALL people to come to know the Lord? Don't you have openly sinful people in YOUR church. GOSSIPERS, perhaps?? Jesus actually came for the sinners, not the righteous. He came to make sinners righteous, in fact. I'm not a Rick Warren fan, but he handled that question honorably.

  • @strausserministries "Don't you have openly sinful people in YOUR church" The funny thing is ONLY religious people sin, ohhhhh he said it didn't he? Well listen up nice and close Jane and John doe public!(if you don't get the reference you might just be that) The religious are the ones who believe in a god who tells you what to do, so ergo if they are a hipocrite they sin...

However i cannot sin, because i do not believe in god, confused? simple sin=defying god's request, ergo sin=/=evil = FACT

  • @strausserministries Ignore IronicAtheist. He's trolling. He shot at 4 of us all at once. My concern is if the openly gossipy ones are ever going to repent. Oh yeah, same with the openly gay congegants. (hope that made you chuckle.) :)

  • @strausserministries Doesn't the Bible also tell us to take joy as we kill the babies of our enemies? How come that part of the doctrine doesn't get talked about it? it is in psalms and Isiaih

  • This is the type of person where Fox gets it's business news... a homophobic, bigotted, ignorant pastor... mmmh...

  • How blind is Rick??? There is nothing wrong with gay people sitting in a congregation. What a glorious way to speak truth and show the love of God to anyone. I do, however believe in repentance and trying with the power of God to abstain, this includes heterosexual unmarried couples as well,

  • Its official republicans are for these crazy nut job. Evangels are paying off our politicians. This is why you never hear of all those southern ministers getting charged for selling prayors and ripping off vulnerable elderly. By the way religion is tax exempt but they are selling prayors its time that the tax exiption should be removed from religion. This is insane, these guys need to be trown in jain by the hundreds all this fake crap. Knocking people down and calling it a healing.

  • @alwayspatriotic holds many valid points.

Some I don't agree with, but you got your point across. I'm a homosexual man and I've come across much adversity in my life. I tried to give up my so-called "sexual immorality," but I knew that no matter what, I would always be physically and emotionally attached to men. You yourself don't choose to be heterosexual, I don't choose the opposite. It isn't a choice, nor is it a "lifestyle," it's just me.

  • I've asked you to address the original Greek/Hebrew texts treatment of homosexuality, and your only response is: "The original scriptures still say homosexuality is wrong." This suggests that you don't have the intellectual discipline and spiritual curiosity to explore and fortify your understanding of Scripture. You are welcome to call me, the Pope, or the Catholic Church names, but it does nothing to further your erroneous assumptions, and it certainly doesn't bring you closer to Christ.

  • @biggsterboy The only difference I can find is the one where the homosexuals twist the word for their own purpose. They try to say it means not to lie in a woman's bed to have homosexual sex, because it is her own bed. Sounds more like something the mohammedans would say. Mohammed borrowed and twisted from Judaism, and paganism, and invented his cult. Homosexuals today would rather twist God's word than to change their lives, and give up sexual immorality.

  • @alwayspatriotic Plus, if God meant marriage to be between man and woman only, then homosexuals cannot marry. If individuals are unmarried, the sex is fornication, and fornication is a sin, therefore homosexual sex is a sin. And try as you might to insult me, my feelings aren't hurt, since I know how much I love to study the word of God. I criticize the pope and the catholic religion, because they are harmful to true Christianity. Catholicism was founded many years after Christ died.

  • @alwayspatriotic Catholicism is not nor ever was the true Church that Christ founded. Catholicism has man-made doctrines and traditions not found in the New Testament. They are very powerful, and are very inviting to those who know little about the Bible. They are not very dangerous to the strong Christian, because they are strong in their faith, and don't stray as often to strange and heretical religions like catholicism. I hate to see people join catholicism or islam, it's hard to get out.

  • Whether you judge me is irrelevant but you are certainly pre-judging me to be a homosexual because I have never told you that. You have bigger fish to fry than me as you have judged the Catholic Church to be "strange". Go antagonize the Pope with your tautologies for a while. Unless and until you are willing to address the original Greek/Hebrew texts treatment of homosexuality and the original's inherent validity over more recent interpretations, I will have no need to further this discussion.

  • @biggsterboy I assumed because you seem to have a huge hangup with homosexuality, I figured you most likely practice that lifestyle. The catholic religion IS strange. The pope is nothing more than a man, he is not God on earth, he has no special powers, he cannot forgive sins. I see I have hit on a nerve, because you see that I am not a foolish person willing to compromise my Christian principles to appease your idea of social justice. I am not mad if you decide to end discussion, I'll pray 4u.

  • Uhhm... yes there are many versions and translations of the bible. Ever heard of the KJV - King James Version? Please explain to me how YOUR bible created in the 20th century, translated into English, is MORE accurate than the original Greek and Hebrew scripture! The original Greek does not ever reference homosexuality or homosexuals as we understand them today. The Bible you are quoting is a 20th century English translation that has its own bias, views, and interpretation of the original text.

  • @biggsterboy The original scriptures still say homosexuality is wrong. You have to be able to understand what you are reading, such as men who lie with men, what do you think that means? Lying on the green grass on a hill admiring the clouds? I may like to read the KJV the best, but I also study others.

  • How ironic it is that the vast majority of Christian churches will not openly and visibly and knowingly welcome gay members into their congregation. Jesus consistently and visibly reached out to the outcasts, the misunderstood, the least of our brothers.

It amazes me how much time, effort, and passion that some so-called "christians" put into the persecution of homosexuals. Is this *really* God's best and primary purpose for them... to isolate and condemn homosexuals?

  • @biggsterboy Our church, and all true Christian churches welcome all people into their congregations. That includes homosexual. But, a true Christian church will never compromise on the truth. You will hear that homosexuality is wrong, that other sins are wrong. But, you will also hear that Christ came into this world to save ALL sinners. We do not "persecute" anyone. If you call persecution telling them about the gospel of Christ, then that is where YOU are wrong.

  • @alwayspatriotic There *are* some Christian churches that are willing to openly acknowledge and recognize the value of loving human relationships of their congregants, even those between members of the same sex. If your church is amongst them, that's great. For many churches, though, the "welcoming" you speak of has 'don't ask don't tell' overtones. The four gospels and in fact, Christ never referenced homosexuality. Christ knows we all sin, but he never separated sinners by sexual orientation.

  • @biggsterboy Our church will welcome all sinners to come to church. Everyone sins; homosexuality is a sin, therefore you may hear a lesson stating that it is a sin. Your body is a temple, and treating it badly through sexual sin, is a sin against your own body. You cannot be a practicing homosexual, and expect to go to heaven. It is not me who is judging you, you will be judged after death by Christ.

  • @alwayspatriotic I cannot change God’s Word but mankind certainly has. The concepts of ‘homosexuality’ and ‘homosexuals’ as identities in which we understand them today, did not exist anywhere in the original Greek or Hebrew scripture. The references to homosexual acts, primarily as rape, pederasty, prostitution, and adultery are based on ambiguous words and have been translated, interpreted, questioned and misunderstood, by humans over the centuries. Homosexuality as a sin is a modern concept.

  • @biggsterboy Make no mistake, we all value loving relationships, however the one you refer to is not a natural one. Men having sex with men, women having sex with women, is wrong. Nothing anyone on this earth can say will make it right, all the legislation in the world will not make it right. In our church you are welcome, but eventually your sin of homosexuality will most likely lead you to leave, because you cannot change God's word.

  • @alwayspatriotic So, do you really care what God thinks? Or do you just want to try to catch Christians in the act of speaking their beliefs, so you can feel "justified" in believing that Christianity is bad? Yes, Christ reached out to sinners-and told them to go and sin no more. He did not say to go and commit all the sin you want. Please read His Word, it's not hard to understand.

  • @alwayspatriotic The Bible can be a great instrument for good – but it can also be misused to do harm. When you, your Church and others spread the interpreted “Word” that “Homosexuals are unnatural and going to Hell”, your actions demonstrably contribute to: 1) shame, rejection, and alienation for gay teens/young adults 2) families’ rejection of gay children 3) depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, and suicide 4) hate crimes and murders. Do you truly believe this is Christ’s mission for you?

  • @biggsterboy Whether you like the word of God or not, homosexuality is wrong and the Bible says so. Where did you see that I said I hate and persecute homosexuals? I will say boldly what the word of God says. If a homosexual male or female feels shame for having homosexual relations, then why is that a bad thing? People need to feel shame when they sin. And if my children said they were homosexual, I would still love them just as much, yet never tell them homosexuality was right.

  • @alwayspatriotic 1) When you disagree that no man should enslave another, you are selectively disregarding many passages of the Bible (both OT and NT) that describe acceptable slavery practices. Slavery is never described as immoral in any way in the Bible. How is that you have the authority to decide which passages of the Bible are relevant (just one example by the way) and which are not? When you spread your own selective version of the gospel, you do so to suit your own worldly agenda.

  • @biggsterboy Yes, slavery existed, that doesn't mean I have to like it or enslave others. God allowed many things to happen, and still does. The Jews were put into slavery because of their disobedience. I do not have a "version" of the Bible. I haven't made up anything that isn't in it.

  • Respond to this video... I am sure that you know if you have ever read the Bible, that Christ's great commission for all Christians, who have obeyed the gospel, and been baptized for the remission of their sins, is to spread the gospel. Do you know why John the Baptist was beheaded? For telling the truth. Do you know why Paul was persecuted? For telling the truth. The truth is the truth, and no matter how "politically correct" the world becomes, the truth remains the truth.

  • @alwayspatriotic 2) 1Cor.6:9-11 is a perfect example of the “evolving” Word of God. To have a TRUE understanding of it, you have to look to the original Greek historical context: malakoi (soft, luxurious, slaves to idols) and arsenakotai (man, lying with, bed Gr. fem.). Biblical translations have varied wildly over the centuries: idol slaves, soft (irresolute), soft (unmanly), effeminate, male prostitute, homosexual offender, adulterer (fem), homosexual, even “practicing” homosexual.

  • @biggsterboy No, the word of God does not change with the times. You may twist it all you want, the word of God is eternal, and unchanging. It is plain to see, but you obviously want to believe what you want to believe, so you are allowed free will to do so. You would rather add to or take away from God's word.

  • @alwayspatriotic 2) (contd) The issue is that translation of these specific words (which were quite uncommon in the ancient world) has taken on a life of its own, namely that of its translators. Despite their ambiguity, there is a large gap in meaning between “one who is a slave to idols” and “practicing homosexual”. Historians however, do know that the concept of committed same sex relationships was virtually unknown in Paul’s time, and he would have had no context with which to forbid them.

  • @biggsterboy Marriage is between a MAN and a WOMAN. Not between two men or two women, nor is a so-called committed relationship a way to get around the matter. Homosexuality is wrong, therefore a "marriage" cannot exist between same sex individuals. Fornication is wrong, that's sex outside of marriage, therefore it would be homosexual fornication, and is wrong. You know the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, right? Do you really thing God changed His mind?

  • @alwayspatriotic I actually do care what God thinks as I’ve been a Roman Catholic my whole life. I believe the Word of God is living and non-static. Christ often rebuked the Pharisees and ‘wise’ men for getting caught up in the old Mosaic law and missing God’s true message. Fundamentally, I do not believe that scripture should be used as a tool to cause harm to others. I’ve given you four relevant examples as such. When Jesus said “Love thy neighbor” he didn’t mean just the heterosexual ones.

  • Respond to this video... I don't use the scripture to harm anyone. It is where the truth is, and I am not afraid to tell it to the world. It is there, if you care to read it. 1Corinthians 6:9-11. It still means that. God does not change with the times. He does not become modern and hip, and politically correct. Too many religions, including catholicism, have tried to make people believe God doesn't mean what He said. But true Christianity believes in His Word.

  • @alwayspatriotic 3) It appears you wash your hands of any negative impact caused by your “homosexuals are going to hell” version of the Gospel. Do you realize you turn people AWAY from God, when Christ Himself never made any such claim? Do you realize how many homosexuals (including young adults) have heard words as yours and commit suicide because they feel they have no hope? Through Him all things are possible; I hope you understand that and will prayerfully re-examine God’s intent for you.

  • @biggsterboy I am not here to judge you as a homosexual. As to whether or not you will go to hell, I have no power over that. The Bible clearly states in 1Corinthians 6:9-11, that the sexually immoral, thieves, drunkards, idolaters, adulterers, swindlers, homosexuals, will not inherit the kingdom of God. It also say that those who repent of such things, and are baptized for the remission of their sins, will be saved from eternal punishment. I do pray to God, to give me guidance.

  • @alwayspatriotic The Bible condones many practices which (most) people would find immoral today. Matthew 27:25 has been used for many centuries as justification for the persecution and hatred of Jews including the Holocaust (still occurs today). Many Americans justified slavery with “divinely sanctioned” verses in the Bible as recently as the 19th century. Discrimination against women is condoned throughout the OT. Do you still uphold these passages as the inerrant Word of God?

  • @biggsterboy What discrimination do you refer to? God made man the head of the family, blame Him if you must. I don't agree that any man should be enslaved by another, but, hey it happened, and I have nothing to apologize for, because I never enslaved anyone, so have no guilt in the matter.

  • @alwayspatriotic So far, you have managed to…: 1) selectively disregard passages of the Bible you disagree with, yet highlight those passages that you DO agree with as immutable. 2) applied your own intent, bias, and agenda to passages that do not exist in the original Greek scripture. 3) been willing to use your personal interpretation of the Gospel (see 1 and 2) to recklessly harm and possibly endanger others. Let’s look at each of these in turn.

  • @biggsterboy Regardless of what you or I like or dislike, the main thing is that The Bible is the word of God. You must believe, repent, and be baptized for the remission of your sins. The Roman catholic way of viewing God's word is rather strange. You worship Mary? You pray to dead people to get through to God? That is never going to work. You have ONE to intercede for you, Jesus Christ alone.

  • @biggsterboy And, I have done nothing to endanger or recklessly harm another person. They have free will to live as they choose, to have sex with whomever or whatever they choose, and I have the free will to speak rightly the word of truth. Just as you have the free will to twist the word of God. I have no agenda, other than to tell the truth.

  • Who is Rick Warren that you need to be asking him anything? He can't even get the gospel right.

  • He says things that are not part of the Bible, he says we live in different times and have to be more sensitive. That is not what is taught in the Bible, we must preach the Word and warn others of their impending judgement.

  • @habfan24 Absolutley right!!

  • Not that I'm a great fan of his, but is it that a lot of the Christians critisize him have nothing to show for their lives in anything let alone souls? "He's not accurate" "Maybe, and how many have you saved?" "Ah.. none!" "Oh very revealling!"

  • My issue with RW and the Purpose Driven Life is there is not a word about 1- REPENTANCE

2-DEATH OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS

    3-RESURRECTION

I feel he goes much too lightly on "BELIEVE", YES we have to believe in Jesus, but first we have to REPENT, ask for FORGIVENESS and believe He paid for ALL our sins.

I wish he would have expose the whole Gospel, not just part of it.

As 100% Christian already, I can read the book and grow, and that I liked. But it is NOT to evangelize to an unbeliever. GBY

  • Also for him to have ANYONE that is in any gross sin...whether homosexuality or a man or woman that is openly cheating on their spouse or anyone in any gross sin like such where they are blatantly sinful, should be challanged. Warren is a liar and doesn't stand on Christian doctrine. He was against gay marriage and then stood for it. He's double tongued. He's not a Christian. People, please beware of this snake.

  • Warren is an anti christ. His gospel is another gospel and he is openly a part of CFR which is an arm of the illuminati in the United States. No pastor should be this involved with politics. We are in the world but not of it. Those things have nothing to do with the Gospel.

  • I disagree. I don't think that Rick Warren should be respected for his voraciously monocultural views, and espousal of mediocrity on principle. I think he should be vilified and laughed off of any forum that might have him.

  • So, let me get this straight. They got a fat blowhard of a religious idiot to discuss economics?

This guy doesn't even understand that marriage has been around longer than religion and that for nearly the whole time it has been around it was to settle family and property disputes, even today. Arranged marriages still take place, polygamy is rampent and in some states is being debated about legalizing even this.

Not to mention all the donations to the church go to his house and tax breaks..

  • Rick has AN openly Gay congregant????? I hear the tea party has AN openly black member.

  • One would not know this guy was even a Christian. Does he even know we're in the last days? God is sending the strong delusion!

  • I will making the most controversial video in the history of all youtube. "Jesus Christ will not save you"! This is what happens when you take the bible literally and follow it to the dead letter. The bible is a coded Kabbalistic book written by initiates for initiates. Somebody made the mistake of giving it to the masses and created a bunch of stupid brainwashed fanatics.

  • this guy does not know his componants--- the bible never says to blend componants, the bible is QUITE CLEAR on our behaviour and habits

  • Religious zealots say being gay is a choice. 100% of all openly gay people say that it is not a choice. Do you really think that the religious zealots BELIEVE that 100% of all openly gay people are lying and being gay was a choice each and every one of these gays and lesbians have made?

The religious zealots figure "what's ONE MORE LIE?", when they lie constantly about so many things. It's all part of the big scam aka religion. Without endless lies, what would it be?

  • Why is this douche giving his opinion on economics?

  • For 5,000 years, the term "marriage" involved a man and a woman. Simiarly, for so many fucking years, women and blacks were not considered people, but we've changed that. Christians don't protest those, but they do protest anything related to the betterment of homosexuals. WTF

  • What was the aim of the person who posted this vid?

  • @wkialyleiam As the description says, I ask how anyone can attend his church and not know his views on homosexuality. The answer is that Rick Warren is not sincere in his beliefs, but seeks to transform evangelical Christianity into his own image. He does not address "fundamentalist" concerns until there is popular support for them, hence his late support of prop 8 after the polls suggested its passing. Warren's gospel and purpose is liberal; his nomenclature and audience is conservative.

  • of course homosexuality is a sin. but sin only exists in religion. if you're feeble enough to want to belong to a church then you must abide by their doctrines.

    their gaffe, their rules.

you can't expect people who worship fairytales to behave rationally in the same way you wouldn't expect the KKK to change their beliefs to allow black people to become members.

  • @al3699 Very interesting coment there friend. You must have run into some really stonch Christians. Which fairytale would you subscribe us to, just curious? There are really rationale thinkers, unfortunately you will always run into someone who won't listen. But what are you expecting (I wonder) when you allude to irrational? One other question. Is sin the reason why you're anti-religious? Just seemed like that's where you were coming from in the begining friend.

  • @wkialyleiam i would never advocate one religion over another (bit like debating whether a teapot should be made from milk or plain chocolate) but the point of any religion is that their way is the only way because god's word is absolute.

if that were true then beliefs would remain the same and not evolve and diversify. yet here we are with muslims, christians, jews to name just 3 each with their own sub-sects.

they can't all be right but they CAN all be wrong

  • He completely skipped the question, lol.

  • oh please after you give money away, YOU GET THE CREDIT.

  • Oh sigh it would be such a catastrophe to change social norms to give everybody equal rights this time! Foreigners didn't deserve a vote in Ancient Democratic Greece, blacks didn't deserve the right to independance, nor did Northern America, gays didn't deserve the right to live, just like adultrers and idolaters, seperation of church and state was a bad idea, we should've sticked to theocracies, and women are still less than men. Change is bad.

    Grow up.

  • What a lovely list of "good reasons" NOT to belong to any Bible cult. Thanks for letting me read a copy of something you cut/pasted and sent to countless others. It really makes me feel special to be on your mailing list. I took a minute to respond PERSONALLY to your mass mailing. That alone makes me superior to the likes of you. Don't include me in future mailings. I don't believe in your bullshit religion, I prefer being a genuinely good and decent human being to being a bullying asshole.

  • I think Rick Warren is one of them "Christian Free Masons."

  • What does this have to d with presenting the Gospel of Jesus and the Kingdom of God?

  • shaun is gay.

  • rick warren is a good comentatorr

  • @762submoa: It's not fair to single out a group, lesbians & gays & say they going to hell. I agree with what goshitsgaley says, that we're all sinners & were all going to hell. Now here's the good news. We don't have 2 go to hell because JESUS came & took our place on the Cross & died for our sins. So wether Ur gay, lesbian, promiscous, terrorist, murderer, adulterer, theif, hateful, drunk or drug addict,& any other sin I didn't list. If you repent & ask JESUS 2 forgive you, you'll go 2 Heaven.

  • Hey 762submoa. We are all going to hell. Just because you don't struggle with homosexuality doesn't mean you are better than anyone else. Have you ever heard "but by the grace of god there go I"?

Yeah. You migh struggle with, oh, say, judgementalness and selfrighteousness. So???

Yeah um God loves everyone. You, me, the unibomber, bush, Obama, gays, straits, terrorists, peacemakers.

  • All sodomites and lesbians are going to hell. It is written in the word of God!

  • @762submoa SIN IS SIN!!! REPENTANCE IS OFFERED 2 ALL. WITHOUT GENUINE REPENTANCE A PERSON IS STILL UNDER THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD. GOD HATES ALL SIN, WHATEVER TYPE IT IS. JESUS SAVES ALL WHO CALL ON HIS NAME. READ THE BIBLE + ASK GOD 2 SHOW U HIS WORD + WHY HE HATES SIN + LEARN HOW HE LOVES U. BUT ALTHOUGH GOD LOVES US, HE SAYS HE WILL NOT ACCEPT PPL WHO WILL NOT REPENT. I PRAY THAT U WILL TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY THAT GOD IS OFFERING U...

  • @762submoa where can one find the "word of god"?

  • @idaman12345 The Holy Bible

  • @greekgoof thats the word of man, not god

it was written by man, therefore its the word of man

  • @idaman12345 Who said that the two possibilities are mutually exclusive? I do not deny that the Bible was written by man, but that does not preclude the possibility that the Bible is divine, or the Word of God. If one must write the thing in order for it to be one's words, then the newspaper business is in trouble.

  • @greekgoof you know the bible was written by man because the bible champions all men constantly. as bill maher said in "religulous": "the bible was written by man; and by man, i mean people with penises."

  • @greekgoof JOKE

  • Nobody is "redefining" marriage. It's just that we're no longer going to deny it to same-sex couples. But it will still remain a government contract that provides thousands of state and federal rights and responsibilities, based on an adult love relationship, that may optionally be solemnized in a church that decides to do so.

  • That's just what we need - hope from a guy who knows nothing about economics. What qualifications do you need to be a pastor? America - the home of all nut jobs and religious crazies.

  • He knows nothing about being a Pastor either.

  • Why is this pastor coming on and discussing economics. He is absolutely no authority on the subject. This is why I hate religion, people are listening to this man in regards to topics that he has no business being involved in. If you want to talk about the economic downturn and the reasons for it, bring on a fucking economist.

  • NWO is useing this Propaganda to further the plans to destroy 90% of the population! Investigate (HAARP) weather wars (FEMA) prison camps

New Age beliefs are apart of the plan! Dont be fooled! Peace from Boise Idaho!

  • Redefining marriage Rick? It's only defined as being between a man and a woman in the Bible. Not in the Constitution, which happens to be the governing document of this country. The Bible is not a governing document. Our government has a seperation of church and state so that jerk offs like you cant take rights away from someone for religious reasons. Prop 8 is techinally illegal. It's a religiously motivated hate crime. Gay marriage doesnt hurt traditional marriage at all. Liar.

  • Did I hear that right? Rick Warren is the head of the "Saddleback Church"? That sounds pretty gay LOL No wonder he has at least one openly gay person in his church.

  • He says that he Loves Jesus and dont wanna be a god - and he becomes a god for every motherfucking christian out there. Fucking liying bastard.

  • Gay marriage isn't about redefining heterosexual unions, but defining same sexed ones. You can get a driver's licence to drive a car, then you can also get a liecence to drive a truck or a motorcycle - that is not an act of redefining your car driver's licence as all that meaning and that right remains intact. This is a fallacious arguement as you can have one and the other.

  • The only difference between Warren and his gay congregant is that the congregant is open about his homosexuality.

  • I don't trust Rick Warren at all, I suggest anyone who follows him to research all about him and make up your own mind!

  • @Ningnomaningnong I agree. The purpose driven life is filled with new age terminology. It is my opinion that he is a fringe protestant preacher. Someone who's teaching would lack s huge amount of substance if they were incorporated into treatises. The fact that he is so popular in contemporary culture should be a warning not an asset.

  • if John Osteen, the father of Joel Osteen, was still alive today - he would spank his sone Joel Osteen for not giving a straight answer about the gospel as interviewed during Larry King live. What a waste both the opportunity and reputation. Philippines

  • The second a politician steps on your stage, you should pay tax. Thanks for telling me what God wants, Sean. And for 4900 years, we have defined man as white christian.

  • RIck is a self promoting liar straight from hell with his own personal agenda. celebrate recovery program as well as purpose driven life all bologna.Marketing by using the Name of Christ just a different Christ then the one in the bible.I saw him boasting on the number of books sold. Celebrate Recovery now accepted in churches everywhere as a good way to reach out to the community to sell more books to addicts but no different then AA same old lie repackaged NEW/IMPROVED MARKETING

  • He is for giving everyone the "freedom of choice: Then he is admitting he thinks homosexuality is ok?

  • to the comment that jesus knew that sex and food can corrupt where is that in the bible. . . in Genesis God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply...that means to have sex to make children...God nor Jesus had nothing against sex if you were married.

  • I think we need to give the man a break...He is obviously not for gay marriage...he said it many times during the course of this video...

The title of this video is completely misleading!

  • what the hell kind of Christian wants to create any wealth? According to Christ we shouldn't be wealthy. Christ would have definitely condemned hannity.

  • thank you in the bible Christ was extremely angry when he discovered that there was the selling of wares in the temple. Go to the new testament and find what I am talking about. He was extremely against the church gaining wealth. Remember what he said about the rich man, the camel and the eye of a needle.

  • Was Christ against the church gaining wealth or was he angry at how pharisees, saducees and publicans transformed the "House of Prayer" into a den of thieves?

Where in the Bible do you find that wealth is a sin?

  • Wealth in and of itself is not a sin, but Jesus knew that it can corrupt just look at what is going on today. and yes it is in the new testament where he did discuss wealth.

  • Don't believe anything from "Fear news". They have an agenda...

  • he has the congregant to tell them about thier sin and tell them about the LORD

  • So, you think the authors of the Bible: 1. Knew they were fabricating utter lies, 2. Intended no other purpose in doing so than to control people and (you didn't mention this, but I suppose you might be implying it) to make money off of them? In other words, none of the authors of the Bible were sincere, but were knowingly lying for gain?

  • Well, no, dear, actually that wouldn't answer the question of their behavior up to the point of willingly accepting brutal, painful martyrdom, such as being soaked in pitch, impaled, and burned as torches, crucified, fed to lions, all of which could have been stopped had any one of these earliest Christians simply renounced Christ by admitting they were lying, or knew what they believed was a lie. I know you're used to American Christians, but these were different sorts.

  • Two things: 1. The writers of the new testament would have known that what they were laying down their lives (peacefully, I might add- and not in a homicide bombing) for was completely made up- whereas the 9/11 hijackers could not have had the same mindset, and were hopelessly delusional, 2. The majority of the people who were eyewitnesses to Jesus did not die these instant, painless deaths, simultaneously killing their enemies in the process- many died VERY slow, VERY agonising ones.

  • @sorenkierkegaard2008 AMEN 2 UR COMMENT...

  • how'd you come to that conclusion?

  • He looks like Morrie from Goodfellas.

  • I believe that God has the power and ability to cure a homosexual person of their sin of homosexuality.

Unfortunately Rick Warren obviously doesn`t think that repentance is an important point of Christianity - otherwise he wouldn`t have a "conflicted" homosexual going to his church.

  • what are you yappin on about?

  • Practicing homosexuality is a sin; struggling with it is not.

  • I'm sorry, why is it a sin?

  • Well, define "sin" for me, first. Give me your definition.

  • Honestly, I don't know what sin means. I had a very... let's say closed childhood and didn't get a lot of exposure to religion growing up.

Could you explain to me what it means? It's obvious that the word has something to do with breaking the law, but I've never seen it in the legal books my foster parents owned.

  • @VittlesIX Look in a dictionary 4 the word "SIN" then READ THE BIBLE. REPENTANCE WILL GET U STARTED...

  • @sorenkierkegaard2008 THANK GOD 4 UR COMMENT. ALTHOUGH I AM NOT GAY, THE POINT THAT SOME PPL DON'T SEEM 2 UNDERSTAND IS THAT GOD HATES ALL SIN. WE ALL STRUGGLE WITH DIFFERENT TEMPTATIONS. SOME STRUGGLE WITH ANGER, PORNOGRAPHY, HATE , UN-FORGIVENESS, FORNICATION, HOMOSEXUALITY, PRIDE ETC. THE LIST GOES ON. IT'S WHEN WE PUT THESE SINS INTO PRACTICE THAT GOD HATES.
