Why does my mouse lag? It isn't my system (Trust me). My system was built by me and can easily top Crysis's graphics. I'm upgrading core soon so don't flame me. Specs:

I did everything you said but my autopan doesn't work. My Monitor resolution is 1280 x 1024 and my recording resolution is 1280 x 720 like you said.

for those of you with the avi creating problem, I found a way to make it work! Use the region in REGION not fixed, region! First you do your video options and make sure everything is correct, then you change your region to fixed, then change it back to region, VIOLA! It works!

@rsvidsbyme You don't do that with Camstudio. Camstudio solely just records. You need to use a video editing software to mask, something like Windows Movie Maker.

Sony Vegas Pro 9 wont accept the .avi files from Comstudio with the DivX codec. Ive tried different settings but it wont work. Also hypercam with divx doesnt work together with SVP9 and i get no error message.

Anyone got the same or know a solution?

Thanks man, great help, but i have a question. when i turn off the GUI effects, such as Aero. my camstudio framerate doubles. I have 2 gigs of ram now , so do you think i f i up it to 4gigs it will improve my input rate, it's usually around 20fps
