@lenglain In the original demonstration my recollection is that he had an interface he was manipulating that was like a web page in its construction and the ability to click on hyperlinks to go to other pages of information or areas of the software. So it wasn't a web page in that it was stored on the computer he was using, but the functionality was quite similar.
I will be showing this to Doug Engelbart on Dec 8. The following day will be the 42nd anniversary of the Mother of all Demos. We've needed a short version of the MOADs for a long time. We are grateful you did it. Thank you.
@paloalto2009 Thank you for this honor! Last year, Christina Engelbart found out about the video by way of my professor at the time, Gardner Campbell, and featured it on the Douglas Engelbart Institute Website.
Let me know if you need anything else, for instance the video in an alternate format, etc. Thanks!

Al Gore was simply on a congressional commission that had to do with the internet and its uses and what it could be used for militarily, economically, and politically. But he didn't write any code or anything to create the internet.
and the computer as we know it today was born. Is it weird if I find this emotional?

This is great, but when he's talking about links, is he really talking about web pages?

Absolutely fantastic. Really good at establishing how positively monumental this one demo really was.

very nice way of showing how his ideas have come to light. Excellent production.

That was a very creative and effective way to connect the ideas Engelbart forecasted in 1968 with how the eventually came to be (much later). bravo!
